Abstract

This research is backed by the curiosity of researchers about the influence of the TPS learning method in the text of negotiation in class X. The focus of this research is finding out if there are differences in the learning outcomes of text. Negotiations before and after treatment. This research aims to determine the influence of use of TPS methods against negotiating text skills using experimental methods. Based on the results of the research in class X before using the TPS method The value of students has an average is 54 whereas after using the method has an average of 67 which means posttest is better than pretest. Learning to write negotiation text using the TPS method runs effectively as evidenced by the increase between the value before and after the application of the method. Wilxocon test Results sig value 0,000 < 0.05. Then there is a noticeable difference in the negotiation text seen from the pretests and posttest data. Thus, the TPS method is effective if used in learning to write negotiation text.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the researcher's curiosity about the process and results of improving students' skills in short story writing skills. What is the process and results of students' ability to write short story texts, namely by applying the think pair and share method in the learning process? This study aims to determine the process and results of short story text production in class XI students using the think pair and share method. The method used in this study is the quasi-experimental design method. The sample used in this study is class XI, with 25 students. Data collection techniques using the initial test and final test. Based on the results of research students' ability to write short story texts before using the think pair and share method obtained an average initial test score of 47 and after using the think pair and share method obtained an average final test score of 59.84. The results of the ability to write short story texts increased, so conclusions can be drawn using the think pair and share method in class XI can improve students' ability to write short story texts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulty of students in producing a review text that has not reached the assessment criteria. This research problem is whether the Think Talk Write learning model is effectively used in learning to write text? So this study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Think Talk Write learning model in learning to write text. The subjects used as the research sample were class X students. The research method used was pre-experimental in the form of one group pretest-posttest. The instruments used included RPP and test sheets. The results of the study show that student learning outcomes have a significant increase. This is evidenced by the average pretest value of 60 increasing at the posttest average value to 80. The application of this learning model gets a good response from students, can train critical thinking skills, and improve students' writing skills. So, based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the Tnink Talk Write learning model is effectively used in learning to write texts.

Abstract

Writing a fantasy story is a learning activity that is considered less understood by learners, it is seen in the results of students who do not achieve indicators of success of learning, it happens because the process given the teacher does not use learning models in accordance with the material taught so that learners less understand the material described by the teacher. Based on the above, the study of fantasy story text writing is done by using the learning model of Project Based Learning on SMP side. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental design. This study aims to improve the ability of learners in writing fantasy stories according to the curriculum 2013 revised edition and students are expected to be more creative in writing. The object of this study is the work of junior high school students amounted to 30 people on learning to write a fantasy story using the model of Project Based Learning. The result of the treatment at the school was very effective, it is seen from the result of the student test during the pre-test 70,63 and post-test 81,17 so it shows the significant difference with the difference of value 10,54.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulties of students when learning to write drama texts. Students feel less confident and don't focus on expressing their ideas or ideas. This affects low student learning outcomes. The formulation of the problem proposed in this study is whether the jigsaw learning model can improve the learning outcomes of junior high school students in writing drama texts. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the jigsaw learning model to improve student learning outcomes in writing drama texts. The method used in this study, namely the quantitative method in the form of a pretest-posttest one group. Experiments were conducted on one class which was given a drama text writing ability test. A pretest was conducted to determine the initial ability while the posttest was conducted to determine the ability of students after being given treatment in the form of learning to write drama text using a jigsaw learning model. The results showed that the jigsaw learning model could improve student learning outcomes in writing drama texts. This is evidenced by the significant increase in the average pretest, which is 63 and the posttest average value, which is 76. Thus, it can be concluded that the effective jigsaw learning model is used to improve the learning outcomes of junior high school students in writing drama texts.

Abstract

This journal aims to this describe kinds of gender inequality, sexual violence, and the main character struggle named Dewi Ayu to fight against women's downtrodden over men in post-colonial era in a novel Cantik Itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan. The way text reveals the ideas of the characters is less-explicit and tend to have depraved behavior even you unexpected form and direction. the patriarchy damages the main character pleasant to become a prostitute and assume that a woman is just stereotype and inferior. This research is based on the feminism-analysis theory. The data analyzed shows that the figure Dewi Ayu is a form of negotiation toward the colonialism.

Abstract

The research based on the religion value in the movie of “Cinta Laki-laki Biasa” director by Guntur Soeharjanto that was produced by Starvision adapted from Asma Nadia novel. The writers analyzed the religion value from each part that was told in thet movie. This research aimed to describe the religion value in that movie. The reason why the writers took “Cinta Laki-laki Biasa”, because that movie had a lot of religion values. Beside that, every dialog contained the speech where the viewers can catch the value. This research was very important and useful for the reader, because many moral messages can we get. The writers used bilbliography research as the research method. The result from the research was the patience feeling, simplicity, alwasy pray to God even though have a lot of businesses, have a good attitude, helping each other, respecting parent, sincere, and never give up. The religion value can be applied in human daily life.

Abstract

This research is based on the curiosity of researchers towards the application of the Discovery Learning method in learning to write anecdotal text in class X students. From this background, a formulation of the problem can be drawn whether the application of the Discovery Learning method can improve the results of writing anecdotes in class X? This study was intended to determine the learning outcomes of writing anecdotes for grade X students whether grades could increase after being treated or not. The method in this study is a one-group pretest-posttest design experimental method. The sample used is class X students with a total of 26 students. Data collection techniques in the study used pretest and posttest which were analyzed through statistical analysis techniques. Researchers also used research instruments, namely the pre-test questions sheet and the post-test question sheet. From the results of research based on data processing, students' ability to write anecdotal texts obtained an average pretest test score of 55.38 and after applying the Discovery Learning method the posttest average score of 76.25. Then the value of writing an anecdotal text goes up by 20.87. Normality test results 0.202> 0.05, the results of the posttest and pretest were normally distributed. In conclusion, the use of Discovery Learning methods on students' ability to write anecdotal texts can be significantly improved.

Abstract

In teaching first language, the child is able to master the language by imitating what their mother says. Through their mother's mimic activity, the child is able to develop their language and knowledge of the structure and patterns of their mother tongue. In addition, the language controlled by the child resulting from the imitation of their mother tongue is not good and true in accordance with the rules of the Indonesian language. This is what causes errors in language of young learners. Such language errors can be eliminated by instilling good and proper language habits by both mother and family. In addition, children can be trained from an early age so that the language is not deviant. In the process of language development of children, speech language errors are included in the discussion of error analysis in phonology. A speech error is an error pronouncing the word so that it deviates from the raw speech. The aims of this studies are  to determine the errors of language in young learners and what words are the language pronunciation itself. The research design are: (1) the initial stage is the preparation stage to identify and search the literature study, especially with reference to related journals. (2) after the problem is identified and the basics of literature study are collected, the next stage conducts data collection with direct observation or observation. (3) after collected, recorded, documented, then analyzed by utilizing existing sources. (4) evaluate to get observation data to be used as a research result.

Abstract

Text Writing Learning Procedures using Contextual Teaching and Learning Method in Class X Student Cimahi. Writing is one of the aspects of language skills. In daily activities, we experience writing activities. Writing means the process of pouring ideas through writing, so the more we write, the more our thoughts are contained in them. The learning method was chosen in this research as the solution is by using CTL method. Contextual Teaching and Learning is a learning helps teachers connections between materials taught to real-world situations and encourages. Problems encountered in this research is how the implementation of learning and the results of writing the text of the procedure by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning method. The population amounted to 31 students. From the test results, there is an increase in the value of students before and after using the method of learning. From the initial test the average score of 52,15 students. While in the final test that has been using the method of learning, the average student score of 75,9. If the teacher uses the learning model using CTL method then the students can write the text of the procedure will increase.
