Abstract

Pembelajaran ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerita fantasi yang kurang. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada hasil evaluasi menulis teks cerita fantasi yang tidak sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan menulis teks cerita fantasi. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) Apakah terdapat perbedaan terhadap kemampuan menulis teks fantasi antara siswa yang menggunakan model picture and picture  dengan siswa yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning. (2) Bagaimana gambaran kinerja siswa pada: a. Implementasi pembelajaran kelas eksperimen dengan  model picture and picture  pada pembelajaran menulis teks cerita fantasi pada siswa kelas VII. b. Implementasi pembelajaran kelas kontrol dengan model Problem based learning pada pembelajaran menulis teks fantasi pada siswa kelas VII. c. Saat menyelesaikan soal-soal atau tugas-tugas untuk mengukur kemampuan menulis teks cerita fantasi pada kelas VII. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) untuk mengetahui perbedaan terhadap kemampuan menulis teks cerita fantasi antara siswa yang menggunakan model picture and picture dengan siswa yang menggunakan model problem based learning. (2) Untuk mengetahui gambaran kinerja siswa pada: a. Implementasi pembelajaran kelas eksperimen dengan model picture and picture pada pembelajaran menulis teks cerita fantasi kelas VII. b. Implementasi pembelajaran kelas kontrol dengan model problem based learning pada pembelajaran menulis teks cerita fantasi pada siswa kelas VII. c. Saat menyelesaikan sosal-soal atau tugas-tugas untuk mengukur kemampuan menulis teks cerita fantasi kelas VII. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah Model Picture and Picture yang berpusat pada kereatifan siswa dan metode penelitian berupa Quasi Eksperimen. Pada analisis data statistik didapatkan nilai rata-rata pretest 51 dan postest 80 data tersebut mewakili pembuktian adanya peningkatan yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan model picture and picture. Hasil implementasi pembelajaran siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan model picture and picture secara signifikan lebih baik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks cerita fantasi dapat membuat siswa lebih aktif dan kreatif.

Abstract

Literary works are not only meant as works that have beauty in each string of words, but every literary work contains meaning or meaning that can be felt by living it. Poetry is one form of fiction that implies meaning. Poetry can be a motivation for lovers of writing, especially for readers who want to know the meaning or meaning contained in a poem. The author is interested in analyzing the inner elements of poetry contained in a poem by Ika Mustika entitled "Contemplation", the purpose of this study is to find out the inner elements contained in the work. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method that presents the results of research using words, and the results of this study indicate that the work of poetry entitled "Contemplation" contains meaning and is full of meaning when viewed from its inner structure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah dalam pembelajaran menulis yang terjadi di MTs Martausshibyan, terutama dalam menulis teks eksplanasi salah satunya pada aspek struktur teks eksplanasi serta ejaan. Hal tersebut disebabkan adanya keterbatasan pengetahuan, ide, dan gagasan dalam menulis teks eksplanasi serta rendahnya minat belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, dapat ditarik sebuah rumusan masalah yaitu apakah penerapan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbantuan media animasi powtoon cocok digunakan pada pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menelaah skenario dan implementasi pembelajaran, respon guru dan peserta didik, serta kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami peserta didik saat pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan CTL. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VIII A MTs Martausshibyan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pertama, aktivitas guru dan peserta didik pada saat pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi berjalan dengan baik. Kedua, peserta didik memberikan respon baik pada pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi. Ketiga, kesulitan yang dialami peserta didik yaitu salah satunya dalam penggunaan tanda baca dan pemilihan kata. Dilihat dari hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbantuan media animasi powtoon cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi.

Abstract

This reseacrh is based on the lack of student interest in learning Indonesian, both from the material side and the teacher in providing material in the classroom. This is the concern of all of us, especially prospective educators, so that they are able to stimulate and stimulate students so that they can be more active and enjoy learning Indonesian. Media literacy is one solution to this problem, where teachers must be able to innovate by applying media literacy when learning Indonesian. This research is intended to find out prospective educators regarding their preparation for entering the world of education, thus learning cannot be sparated from the existence of innovation, on of which is the learning media that teachers must use. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that describes data and facts in the from of descriptions  obtained through a questionnaire. The sample of this research was conducted on 10 students of IKIP Siliwangi. The results showed that of the entire sample, 10 students of IKIP Siliwangi knew about media literacy, 10 people said that the use of media literacy is appropriate for learning Indonesian, 10 people stated that media literacy can improve the quality of student learning, 9 people said that media literacy can be used at all levels of schooll and 1 person stated that media literacy cannot be used at all levels of schooll, and 3 people stated that conventional media is more effective than electronic and 7 people said conventional media was not effective than electronic media.

Abstract

Writing in tertiary institutions requires requirements both in terms of language, content and writing techniques, because tertiary institutions as an institution that will produce intellectuals, carry out writing activities as an integrated part of the entire teaching and learning process. Having knowledge about the material to be written, related to the above statement, this study discusses the ability to write scientific papers for students who have completed the combined course of writing scientific papers. The purpose of this research is to: (1) measure how students 'ability to write paper scientific papers, (2) students' ability to develop content, (3) students 'ability to organize paper scientific papers, (4) students' ability to determine vocabulary and good terms and right, (5) ability to sort and use appropriate language. This research was carried out using the qualitative descriptive method of population in this study. All 2016 a2 students in the Indonesian language study program who had finished joining the alloy course wrote scientific papers, because the population was too much to take samples randomly from the class so that there were 15 samples to study. . The results of the study were obtained from the results of observations of several papers that have been done by students, (1) from the content aspect the ability to write papers students get the highest score = 30, while the lowest score is 18, and the average score = 25.30. (2) from the organizational organizing aspect to the paper made the highest score = 15, and the lowest score = 13, and the average score 12.10. (3) from the vocabulary aspect and the term ability of students to get the highest score = 15, while the lowest score = 12, and the average = 12.40. (4) from the aspect of language use in a paper made by a student the highest score = 15, and the lowest score = 10, and the average = 13.10. (5) from the spelling and technical aspects of writing scientific papers the students made the highest score = 7, while the lowest score = 6, and the average = 6.10.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the intrinsic elements of a literary work. Literature is an essay from the results of human thoughts and feelings that arouses imagination. Literary work is a work that examines various problems of life. But in it has its own element of beauty. The type of literary work that is often read and describes a life is short stories. The short story length is very relative and in the short story it has elements that are different from other elements, the elements that are owned are the intrinsic elements. Intrinsic elements include themes, characters, plot, setting, point of view, and mandate. The method used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive method. This method aims to describe the facts in a short story. Researchers are interested in researching a short story entitled "Dilarang Menyanyi Di Kamar Mandi" by Seno Gumira Ajidarma, because this short story is a realist in telling social life that is easily carried away by other people's opinions and comments. This research produces intrinsic elements which include the themes contained in this short story including moral and social themes, the characters and their characterizations are divided into several with various kinds of characters available, the plot formed in this short story is a forward flow, the background used is in a the village alley and the mandate contained in this short story is the importance of maintaining good manners in terms of the new culture and culture so as not to cause misunderstandings so that far from social inequality, you must be able to understand the culture and culture of a place.

Abstract

This article discusses language acquisition in children aged 2 years in terms of phonology. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe language acquisition regarding aspects of vowel or consonant phonology in children aged 2 years. The research subject is a 2 year old child named RSH. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This technique uses data resulting from observations by inviting the child's direct communication, then the data is processed through appropriate exposure to the data in the field. The results obtained from this study show that the acquisition of RSH phonology, especially in vowels, has been mastered, but there are several vowels that are sometimes replaced, for example vowel [o] becomes [u], but so far, RSH has mastered the vowels [a], [i] , [u], [e], [o]. The first vowels he mastered were the vowels [a] and [u]. Likewise, the consonant sounds [b], [t], [h], [w], [y], [n], [m], [p], [j] have been well mastered. If the consonant sound is in the middle, the utterance has been obtained even though it is not correct, but if you find a consonant sound at the end of a word, RSH always interchanges it with a consonant sound [h].

Abstract

There are several factors experienced by students in learning, among others, the limited ability of students to develop ideas or ideas into a form of writing, the use of spelling and punctuation that is still wrong. The formulation of the problem from this study are: 1) How can the influence of Discovery Learning improve the ability to write students? 2) What are the obstacles experienced by students in improving their writing skills? The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning learning model on Indonesian subjects about the procedure text. This research was conducted at Sangkuriang 1 Cimahi Vocational School using a quantitative approach. The data of this study used the One-Group design type pretest-posttest Design which was conducted in class XI BDP with the Procedure Text material. One-Group pretest-posttest Design in this experiment had a pretest that before being given treatment, the results of the treatment could be more accurate than those not treated. The results of the study indicate that the most increase in writing procedure text at the initial value (pretest): the lowest value of the student gets 50 and the highest score of the student gets 80 whereas, after using the Discovery Learning model, the final value of the student (posttest): the lowest value the student gets 70 and the highest score of students gets 85.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the difficulties experienced by students in writing poetry texts, the difficulty of students expressing ideas and developing them made the students' learning motivation decreased. Researchers use the hypnoteaching learning method as a solution to assist students in overcoming these difficulties. The purpose of using the hypnoteaching method is expected that students can be more focused, easier to find ideas and increase learning motivation with positive suggestions given by the teacher. This study used an experimental method using the one group pretest-posttest design research. This research used only the same sample. The average score of students using conventional methods got 66.81 and increased after receiving treatment using the hypnoteaching method, the average value obtained by students was 81.39. The difference in the average score of students using conventional methods and hypnoteaching was 14.58. Based on these results it is known that there are differences, namely the results of the average score obtained by students before and after receiving treatment, so the conclusion is that the hypnoteaching method can help students in writing poetry text.
