Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce teaching materials in the form of worksheets using Macromedia flash in teaching ecological-based explanatory texts that can be used by teachers and students at SMPN 3 Penukal Utara. This research is research and development (Research and Development) which collaborates the Jolly and Bolitho development model and the Dick, Carey, and Carey development model into eight steps, namely: (1) identification of teaching material needs, (2) exploration of material needs, (3 ) contextual realization, (4) pedagogic realization, (5) production of teaching materials, (6) expert validation, (7) revising learning, and (8) designing and conducting formative evaluations. The developed LKS prototype consists of a start page, instructions for use, teaching materials, KI & KD, objectives, concept maps, and materials. To find out the validity, practicality, and potential effects of the worksheets that have been developed, validation tests were carried out by experts/experts, and three stages of formative evaluation using questionnaires, interviews, and tests. Based on the validation results of three aspects (appropriateness of content/material substance, language, presentation, and graphics), worksheets are categorized as good or valid. Based on the practicality test through one-to-one evaluation and small group evaluation, the LKS is categorized as very good or very practical. From the results of field trials (field trials) through pretest and posttest, there was an increase in the average student score of 30.25 so that the LKS could be categorized as effective for students. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the external code-mixing in the novel Air Mata Akhir Bunda. In line with the research objectives, the research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques using documentation techniques and data analysis using intralingual matching techniques. Based on the results of data collection, it was found that the external code mixing in the novel Air Mata Akhir Bunda was the insertion of words and phrases from English. The insertion of words is 21 words and the insertion of phrases is 11 phrases. The factor causing the external code mixing is the use of terms that are popular in the community. To foster a positive attitude towards the Indonesian language, the use of these terms from English can be avoided, considering that the use of these terms from English has been absorbed into the Indonesian language. Abstract

The video review of the online learning process of subjects Indonesian class X to XII SMK N 1 Sindang uploaded on social media Youtube was carried out to analyze the diversity of expressive speech acts used when the learning process was taking place. The assessment technique carried out is listening, namely the researcher listens to the conversation between speakers and speech partners in the learning process. The online learning video assessment method is descriptive qualitative which is chosen to present the results of the analysis without a measurement process and then described in detail according to the pragmatic review. The results obtained from the analysis of expressive speech acts carried out on the video are speech acts of greeting and asking for news, speech acts of telling and commanding, speech acts of praise, speech acts of asking, acts of thanking speech, acts of mocking speech, acts of wishing and reminding, acts of calling speech, acts of convincing speech, acts of motivating speech, acts of insinuating speech, acts of apologizing speech, acts of wishing, acts of respectful speech, as well as acts of speech of refusing and complaining.

Abstract

The language used by teenagers in South Jakarta (Jaksel) is unique, because many of the vocabulary used is a blend of Indonesian and foreign languages. The formulation of the problem in this research is, (1) what is the form of South Jakarta youth slang found on the Kesel Aje Podcast YouTube channel?, (2) what is the meaning of South Jakarta youth slang on the Kesel Aje Podcast YouTube channel?, (3) what is the function from South Jakarta youth slang vocabulary?. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative by describing the use of slang used by Oza Rangkuti on the Kesel Aje Podcast YouTube channel. The data collection technique is in the form of observing and noting. The data is described qualitatively according to the pattern of formation, meaning, and function. The data in this study were obtained from the results of data collection on nine videos uploaded on the Kesel Aje Podcast YouTube channel. The results of this study found six formation patterns in slang, namely, abbreviations consisting of 20 data, acronyms 7 data, compound words 6 data, puns 7 data, code mixing 6 data, absorption from foreign languages 16 data. Vocabulary in slang is used to establish communication between speakers and speech partners, to give terms to things that are done, as well as to express the feelings or thoughts of speakers.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the politeness principle of village girl speech in the folklore of Ogan Komering Ilir. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. In this study using Leech's theory of politeness principles and using a pragmatic approach. The data source is in the form of the folklore of Putri Jari Sakti and the Princess with Golden Hair. The results of the study show that there are dominant and less dominant maxims between the two folklores, namely 4 utterances which include the maxim of sympathy in the folklore of Putri Berambut Emas and 3 utterances respectively which include the maxim of keeping feelings and the maxim of agreement in the folklore of Putri Jari Sakti. On the other hand, the total maxim that is most dominant in these two folktales is the maxim of sympathy, namely 5 utterances. Meanwhile, the total number of maxims is the least, namely the maxims of giving approval for only 2 utterances.

Abstract

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research (CCAR) aims to improve students' Bahasa Indonesia outcomes by applying the transferring and teaching material (TTM) model to learning drama texts in Class VIII.5 of SMP Negeri 15 Palembang. The action implementation procedure is an activity cycle consisting of four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (c) observation, and (d) evaluation and reflection. The data obtained are learning outcomes that are analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there was an increase in the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes from Cycle I by 28%, while in Cycle II, it reached 66%, and in Cycle III, it reached 86%. However, the reflection results showed there were still existing weaknesses, so it was continued in cycles IV and V, reaching 100%. Therefore this learning model of transferring and teaching material (TTM) can be used as an alternative for teachers to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian junior high school students.

Abstract

Language politeness is the values of courtesy or ethics when speaking that is contained in social rules of society. Language politeness plays an important role in communication because in communicating speakers not only pronounce the sounds of the language, but also ensures that the speech can be accepted by speech partners. Therefore, research on linguistic politeness is interesting to do, especially language politeness in social media that is widely accessed by the public, one of which is TikTok channel. This research was conducted to identify the principles of language politeness in 2 minutes 46 seconds video on @iamegamei's TikTok channel. The video criticizes the labeling of Indians as Vrindavan or Prindapan with negative connotations that are often done by Indonesian netizens. This research method uses descriptive qualitative pragmatic method with observing and note-taking techniques. Then data is analyzed by using a pragmatic equivalent method. From the research that have been conducted, it is found that the obedience and violation of language politeness thimbles. However, thimble violations dominate, causing language impoliteness in the TikTok video of @iamegamei's account.

Abstract

The basis that must be mastered in Indonesian language learning content is linguistic mastery which consists of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Students' ability to listen is included in the basic skills in learning activities at school, especially in Indonesian language content. This study aims to determine the effect of self-regulation language on students' listening skills in elementary schools. This study uses a quantitative approach using the partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The population in this study was 100 students of grade IV SD as well as the sample for this study 100 students of grade IV SD. The result of this research is the effect of self-regulation on the listening ability of fourth grade elementary school students

Abstract

This study examines the authentic dimensions of multimodal cultural contexts in educational pragmatics and their significance in the context of learning and cultural understanding. The purpose of this research is to describe learning in the cultural context by using multimodality dimensions by using the research method of reading and note-taking techniques. The results and discussion in this study in visual communication conveyed in TikTok content found a cultural context that applies communication modes with visual, aural, linguistic, gestural and spatial aspects. Based on this, the authentic multimodal dimension of cultural context in educational pragmatics can significantly enrich learning and enhance understanding of culture in this era of globalization and multiculturalism.

Abstract

The Governor of Central Java, conducts inspection activities at gas stations to identify whether there are still people with economic conditions and above who still use subsidized fuel. The purpose of this research is the news from kompas.com and gridoto.com about the purchase of Pertamax or non-subsidized fuel at gas stations. The method used is descriptive qualitative, namely the data used is taken from news or literature study. The conclusion of this research is the analysis based on Norman Fairclgh's point of view consists of micro elements, namely theme, cohesion, coherence and lexical structure. Both mizzo elements have the production and distribution of news from both news portals such as kompas.com which are indeed based on social motives so that what happens is the system leads to a social focal point. The third is the macro element, consisting of situational and social levels. Based on the data analysis, the themes raised by the two news portals, namely kompas.com and Gridoto.com, the themes uploaded by Kompas.com focused more on the activities of officials or political elements who care about Pertamax BBM users, while gridoto.com focuses more on automotive or car users. luxury that uses pertalite. The Governor of Central Java is evidence of officials who care and have the awareness to prioritize social care for government regulations, namely the use of subsidized fuel.
