Abstract

There are still many students who experience anxiety in the face of menarche. Anxiety often leads to wrong behavior customize. Anxiety occurs presumably because they lack knowledge about menarche. Target or Research: The first is to describe the student knowledge about menarche, and student anxiety. Second, to see relation with knowledge of student about menarche and dread of students. Quantitative research study was shaped by the kind of descriptive co relational. The population is student of class VII Junior High School Tanjung Gadang Sijunjung. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling, totaling 61 students. Data were collecting using a questionnaire in the form of a graduated scale based on the Likert Scale. Data analysis techniques using Pearson Product Moment formula and processing data using the program Statistical Product and Service Solution for windows release 15.0. The research findings revealed that (1) knowledge of student about menarche  are in the good category, (2) anxiety students are in the low category, (3) there  is significant relationship between student knowledge about menarche with anxiety students with a correlation of -0,724 and a significance level of 0,000with a strong relationship level. Thus, it is suggested that BK teacher/School counselors can provide students with a complete knowledge of menarche. Such service like information service, content control services, service of counseling individual, and group counseling services.Keyword: Knowledge of menarche, Anxienty.

Abstract

A career preparations programs is indeed needed by every individual to help them developing personal career. The best period of this program to be given is school period. The main target is student which will face the profesional world of work or job, soon after graduating. The preparation covers some factors that affect dominantly in the succesful of individual career. The research is done to describe the preparation of student before starting their career. The programs include, understanding the identity of job characteristic, understanding of personal potential, understanding of physical and psycho. Generally, the current students career preparations program is categorized in good category. Despite that, still required some additions, they are, informations service, privat personal, counseling service,group service, and group guidance counseling service. Abstract

Abstract Discipline is really important to be possessed by every student. The students who are able to be discipline will obey the whole rules that have been already designed by the school. If the students can follow them successfully, a good lesson condition will be created and the students will be able to increase their achievement in learning. In fact, most of students in SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP Padang could not obey the school rules, for examples, be late to school, hang out in the canteen out of school at lesson time, and at the rest time they smoke in the school canteen.The counselor teacher has given some services needed in order the students can obey the school rules. Therefore, the researcher was necessary to do a research about the students discipline in school and the implication of counseling services in SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP, as a purpose to get a clear description toward the students’ discipline performance and also the implication of counseling services. This is a descriptive research that is aimed to describe students’ discipline at school and the implication of counseling services. The population is the whole students in grade X, XI and XII amount 671 students in SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The sample is 73 students. The technique of data collection is questionnaires that reveal the students discipline at school, then, the data collected will be analyzed with percentage technique. The finding of the research uncover that discipline at school is in good categorize, namely, 1) tidiness discipline, 2) diligence discipline, 3) lesson time setting discipline. Whereas, discipline at school is in good enough categorize, such as, 1) cleanliness environment discipline, 2) behavior discipline. The factors supported the students discipline at school is in good categorize, like, 1) themselves, 2) contemporary friends. Whereas, the factors supported the students discipline at school is in good enough categorize.Based on the finding of the research, it is suggested to the counselor teachers to identify the causes of students discipline violation at school by giving counseling services, namely, individual counseling services and cluster counseling services, and defend the good efforts with increase the lack effort in materials, methods, media, and time of lesson guidance.  Key word: school discipline; implication; counseling services

Abstract

The counselor job and responbility is to give guidance and counseling service, performing the job needs motivation in order to reach the educational purpose. The headmaster is responsible to provide the facilities  for the counselor in doing them job. The purpose of the study is to find out the relationships between the headmaster’s working motivation and social support with counselor performance. This research used quantitative in nature, using correlation method. Objective of the Research be done counselor in Junior high school Kerinci. The results of the study revealed that, there is a significant relationship between the headmaster’s working motivation and social support with the counselor performance.

Abstract

Learning motivation was considered as a crucial factor for students especially those living in the orphanages. The orphans, certainly, had lack of facilities and attention in learning. The purpose of this research is to know and improve the orphans learning motivation by group guidance service. This was an experimental research which used one group pretest post-test design. The result of the research revealed that there was an improvement on the orphanages’ learning motivation at Panti Asuhan Al-Falah Padang before and after the treatment given.

Abstract

Abstract The intensity that was lacking in the implementation of information services Adolescent Reproduction Healty (ARH) can build students' negative perceptions of the service information ARH provided by the teacher guidance counseling. The purpose of this study was to describe how students' perceptions about the information services provided ARH by the teacher guidance counseling SMAN 1 Kubung. This study used a descriptive approach. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling. Data was analyzed by persentase technik. The study's findings reveal the overall perceptions of students of SMAN 1 Kubung is well about information services adolescent reproduction healty provided by the teacher guidance counseling. Abstract

Abstract Social interaction is a relationship that is experienced by every individual, including students. With a good social interaction, students are expected to develop their potential. Growing potential with maximum yielded a satisfactory learning outcomes. Good learning results coupled with a good ability to interact socially too. Abstract

Kondisi burnout rentan dialami oleh mahasiswa terutama mahasiswa jurusan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK). Mahasiswa BK dituntut untuk memenuhi standar kompetensi yang telah ditetapkan. Namun pada kenyataannya standarisasi tersebut mengakibatkan mahasiswa mengalami burnout yang berdampak pada proses perkuliahan yang tidak maksimal, misalnya membuat tugas asal-asalan, prokrastinasi dan mencontek tugas teman. Timbulnya burnout ini karena mereka bekerja keras, merasa tidak berdaya, tidak ada harapan, merasa terjebak, kesedihan yang mendalam dan secara terus-menerus membentuk lingkaran dan menghasilkan perasaan lelah dan tidak nyaman.

Abstract

Satuan pendidikan SMP memiliki peran penting dalam membantu kesuksesan peserta didik dalam memilih sekolah lanjutan. Untuk itu proses pelaksanaan pelayanan difokuskan pada bidang pengembangan pribadi dan belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis upaya guru BK mempersiapkan peserta didik dalam memilih sekolah lanjutan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel 30 guru BK dari 8 sekolah SMPN Kota Padang yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yakni dengan model skala Likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik sederhana (teknik persentase). Berdasarkan temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan upaya guru BK mempersiapkan peserta didik dalam memilih sekolah lanjutan berada pada kategori cukup. Dengan demikian upaya guru BK perlu ditingkatkan dari program pelayanan BK dan pelaksanaan pelayanan BK.
