Abstract

Bullying merupakan suatu situasi di mana terjadinya penyalahgunaan kekuatan/kekuasaan yang dilakukan oleh seseorang/kelompok. Perilaku bullying merupakan  salah satu bentuk kekerasan dan agresif siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku bullying yang ditampilkan siswa SMPN 3 Lubuk Basung dan peranan guru BK/konselor dalam pengentasannya. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Lubuk Basung berjumlah  564 orang dengan sampel 138 orang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik propotonal stratified random. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis perilaku bullying yang dominan terjadi yaitu menyakiti secara verbal dilanjutkan dengan menyakiti secara fisik kemudian menyakiti secara mental dengan faktor keluarga. Faktor teman sebaya merupakan faktor yang lebih dominan sebagai penyebab perilaku bullying siswa. Secara umum guru BK/konselor cukup berperan mengatasi perilaku bullyingdengan memberikan  layanan informasi sebagai layanan yang lebih dominan diberikan dilanjutkan dengan layanan bimbingan kelompok dan konseling kelompok serta pemberian layanan konseling individual.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe: 1) level of adolescence’s ability in a more mature relationship with peers, 2) level of adolescence’s ability in performing sections of youth social roles according to gender, 3) Implications for social development task with the guidance and counseling program. Research methods used are descriptive analysis. Population research derived from class XI SMA Negeri 1 Padang. Sample of research taken by using Proportional Random Sampling. Research findings of adolescence’s ability in a more mature relationship with peers and level of adolescence’s ability in performing sections of youth social roles according to gender in general terms has been reached. Some indicators of research instrument that still has a low reached made in the preparation of guidance and counseling program.

Abstract

Parents greatly contribute to helping the child's personality, especially in the reception children. Guiding children to treat them well, so that self-acceptance to the child being good. Phenomena that occur in the field are still many parents who guide their children in the form of unfavorable treatment so that the child becomes low self-acceptance. The purpose of this study was to describe the treatment of parent and student self-acceptance and to see the relationship between parental treatment with self-acceptance. This research is a descriptive correlational, The research found that: good treatment of parents classified, categorized as either self-acceptance, there is a significant relationship between parental treatment with self-acceptance of students.

Abstract

Improving The Ability to Expression Idea Through Group Counselling Services. This research aimed to reveal the ability improvement in expression idea through group counselling services. There are two groups of students at grade X of SMA N 3 Padangsidimpuan that were choosen by using purposive sampling. Each group consist of ten students. The research finding shows that generally the group counselling services is effective to improve the ability in expression idea.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a bad behavior because it obstructs the students to achieve the goal of learning. Procrastination is affected by some factors, one of them is learning motivation. Students attract to do their homework, although they do it at school, late report and disturb their friend in learning. All of that are characteristics of academic procrastination. The research purposes are to describe student learning motivation, academic procrastination, and the correlation of learning motivation and academic procrastination of student at SMP N 25 Padang. This research is a descriptive correlational. The population are 482 students of class VII and class VIII SMP N 25 Padang. The samples are 233 students who gained by proportional random sampling. The instrument is learning motivation questionnare and academic procrastination questionnare. The data is analyzed by descriptive statistic method and pearson product moment correlation.The results show that 1) student’s learning motivation is categorized high, 2) student’s academic procrastination is categorized medium, 3) there is negative correlation between learning motivation with academic procrastination of students. The coefficient correlation is r -0,636 with significant 0,000. The higher motivation that the students have the lower their academic procrastination. Therefore students learning motivation can prevent academic procrastination. Guidance and counseling teachers have to help increase their learning motivation and solve their academic procrastination by guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

Abstract: Basic tasks the teacher supervisor is compiling the program guidance and counseling, implement the program guidance and counseling, evaluate program implementation guidance and counseling, analysis of the results of the implementation of the guidance and counseling and follow-up program implementation guidance and counseling to learners who becomes his responsibility. In fact guidance and counseling teachers of government senior high schools in Solok Regency did not elaborate on the program guidance and counseling in accordance with the types of services and areas of development without any elaboration time allocation, class of service to be provided, the material will be presented and didn’t have the weekly program of guidance and counseling. This study used a descriptive approach. The population of the research is all of guidance and counseling teachers in government senior high schools in Solok Regency, totally 49 people with sampling techniques namely the sampling area of 32 people. Data collection techniques using question form. The Data were analyzed using percentage technique.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan tingkat resiliensi siswa, dan perbedaan tingkat resiliensi siswa SMA Negeri Pasca bencana di Kota Padang berdasarkan jenis kelamin, dan lokasi sekolah. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara Cluster Random Sampling sampling yang dibagi menjadi 3 (tiga) kelompok yaitu sekolah di wilayah bagian Pusat Kota, Tengah Kota dan Pinggiran Kota Padang. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh tingkat resiliensi siswa SMA Negeri pasca bencana di Kota Padang pada kategori sangat rendah 7,74%, rendah 34,19%, sedang 32,25%, tinggi 20% dan sangat tinggi 5,80%. Kemudian tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara resiliensi siswa SMA Negeri pasca bencana di Kota Padang berdasarkan jenis kelamin, lokasi sekolah. Temuan penilitian ini selanjutnya dijadikan dasar penting  perlunya layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang terfokus pada resiliensi siswa pasca bencana di Kota Padang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to reveal the locus of control with the relation to the student’s cheating behavior in grade 10  of high shcool  Padang Ganting. This research use a descriptive correlational method. The research is conducted on students in grade 10 high school  Padang Ganting 2011-2012.as many as 439 from the populations, samples were taken by using a technique kurtosis sumpling random sample that produce 148 person. The instrument that used in this research is the locus of control scale by Rotter and cheating behavior questionnaire with likert scale and the analyzed using pearson correlation techniques.The research revealed that generally the students have an external locus of control and cheating behavior enough category. Besides, it also found a negative correlation between the score of locus of control and cheating behavior. The implication of this research is an internal locus of control is needed to reduce cheating behavior.

Abstract

This research was conducted as there was a difference between learning achievement of the students in regular class and in training class. Learning motivation, learning skill quality and self regulated learning are factors assumed to affect the students’ learning achievement. This research was intended to: (1) reveal the difference between learning motivation of the students in regular class and in training class, (2) the difference between learning skill quality of the students in regular class and in training class, and (3) self regulated learning of the students in regular class and in training class.This research applied descriptive comparative method. The population of the research was 312 students in class XI of SMA N 5 Padang. By using purposive sampling technique and simple random sampling technique, 65 students were chosen as the sample. The instrument of the research were learning motivation questionnaire (the reliability was 0.950), self regulated learning questionnaire (the reliability was 0.817), and AUM PTSDL Format SLTA (the reliability was 0.76). The data gathered then were analyzed by using Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA).The research findings indicated that: (1) learning motivation of the students both in training class and in regular class at SMA N 5 Padang was in high category, (2) in which significant difference learning motivation of the students in regular class was higher than that of students in training class, (3) the quality of students' learning skills training classes as very bad and regular classroom students classified as not good at SMA N 5 Padang, (4) there was a significant difference between learning skill quality of the students in regular class and in training class in which learning skill quality of the regular class was higher than that of the students in training class, and (5) students self regulated learning training class and regular class in high at SMA N 5 Padang is category good, (6) there were no significant differences in which self regulated learning training class students together with students regular class, (7) there are significant differences between the motivation to learn, the quality of learning skills, and self regulated learning training class students and students' regular classroom.

Abstract

Anxiety is unplesant feelings or tension against something that has not yet happened, and it could raise a fear of the impact that might grow. REBT regards an anxiety as an irrational thought that lead an individual to behave ineffectively, such as avoiding particular situation. Public speaking anxiety is a fear that is felt when speaking in front of many people. This fear could generate a variety of symptoms, such as sweating and even forget the words to be delivered. To avoid this condition, the individual choose to remain silent. Group guidance service is one of guidance an counseling serviced aimed at training members of the group to speak in front of public and be able to share ideas with others. The research was designed for revealing: the average score of the students’ anxiety before and after group guidance service assisted with REBT approach was applied by using ABCDE model and homework assigment technique, and the effectiveness of group guidance service assisted with REBT approach to reduce the student’ anxiety. This research applied quantitative method. This was a pre-experimental research which used the one group pretest and posttest design. The subject was chosen by using purposive sampling method. The subject of the research was seven students having high anxiety, medium anxiety and low anxiety. This research was conducted at IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. The data gathered were analyzed by using statistic non-parametrik technique assisted with Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and SPSS version 20.00. The result of the research showed that there was a difference between the average score of the students’ anxiety before and after the treatment given in which their pretest score was 136,1 and their posttest score was 111,5. Futhermore, the result of hypothesis test indicated that the score of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) was 0,005 which was below alpha 0,05 (0,005<0,05). Hence, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on these result, it was concluded that the use of group guidance service assisted with REBT approach which was applied by using ABCDE model and homework assigment technique was effective to overcome the students’ anxiety to speak in front of people (in the class).Â
