Abstract

Abstract This paper examines the biography of Kyai Achjat Irsjad during his leadership in initiating and directing the NU Blambangan in 1944-1963. Kyai Achjat Irsjad's decision to establish the NU Blambangan was intended for the development of NU in the southern Banyuwangi. This study specifically writes about the arena of character, spiritual, and intellectual forging of Kyai Achjat Irsjad within the family, Islamic boarding schools and NU organizations. From the forging arena, Kyai Achjat Irsjad played a progressive role as a social, political and religious activist in Banyuwangi. The method used in this research is the Historical Method. The research data obtained from the Pegon Community, the memories of Kyai Achjat Irsjad's children, as well as supporting data in the form of scientific works. The results of the study found that Kyai Achjat Irsjad played an important role, some of which were in increasing access to education, performing the first edition of the Qur'an at the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, and strengthening the existence and influence of NU in southern Banyuwangi in the community.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine: 1). The impact that arises due to the emergence of the concept of Islamophobic thinking on the Islamic religion and Islamic society. Solutions that need to be done to counteract Islamophobic thoughts in Indonesian society and anticipate the emergence of sustainable divisions. The method used in this study is qualitative, while the data collection technique uses the library research method. The results of this study: 1). Islamophobia has economic, social, religious, political and educational impacts. 2). Islamophobia can be avoided if the souls of Muslims themselves have strong religious values, awareness of tolerance in interacting, and have adequate intellect.

Abstract

Abstract In addition to the moral decline, the sense of nationalism as a citizen also experienced the same thing. Attitudes and actions that do not reflect good citizens of the State often characterize the State of Indonesia. One example is the act of discrimination from the majority group to the minority group. Indonesia was built by diversity, not individuals. Through a joint consensus by the nation's founding fathers, not the common people. All forms of discrimination are not allowed either according to Islamic law or the rules that apply in a country. In Indonesia, the rules regarding freedom to embrace religion and belief are regulated in Law no. 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights. The method used is a qualitative method with a literature approach, and the analysis uses descriptive. The results of the analysis show that Pancasila values ​​are the essence of the feeling of the condition of the Indonesian nation. The value of the first precepts of Pancasila is in synergy with the moral message behind the text of the verse and the substance of the teachings of Islam itself. The value of the first precepts of Pancasila becomes the foundation for the following precepts. Everything is in synergy with each other and there is no contradiction. In the context of internalizing the values ​​of Pancasila, there are at least three implementation problems. The first is the problem of implementing basic values, the second is the value of the instrument, and the third is the practical value.

Abstract

Abstract The idea of ​​pesantren conflict resolution as a new perspective rise from a view that conflict does not only occur in society on a macro scale, but also affects the world of Islamic education, especially pesantren. At the same time, Kiai has a significant role in curative behavior and initiative to build a public trust in Bali the trigger for the peaceful development of Islam in Bali. Thus, the kiai's actions in conflict resolution through pesantren related to the global, regional and local areas. Conflicts in several islamic countries rises to a gloomy view of pesantren. The people in the West view that pesantren as a hotbed for terrorists. Research of pesantren in Buleleng and Tabanan shows that people have a less understanding about pesantren, so they show the understanding of anti-tolerance and anti-globalization. Those view based on the behavior of non-mainstream who seem closed and do not adapt to the local culture in Bali. They view related to a rigid of Islamic view that different from them as heresy and even infidels. This is evidenced by the case of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat's of several people in Buleleng. The existence of pesantren are closely related to strategic environment, both global, national and local. In the global perspective, pesantren received international attention. In 2016, the Bali Bina Insani was visited by ministres of an international congress on tolerance. They understood that the values ​​of pesantren are directly related to the mission of world peace developement by the United Nations (UN). The tolerance developed by pesantren is being the antidote of conflicts in Islamic countries and other countries in the world.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Anak merupakan aset masa depan, maju mundurnya sebuah peradaban tergantung dari genarasi berikutnya. Anak adalah amanah sekaligus karunia dari Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa pemilik kehidupan dimuka bumi ini serta dzat yang Maha Menghidupkan dan Maha Mematikan. Oleh karenanya keberadaan seorang anak harus senantiasa dijaga dan dilindungi harkat dan martabatnya sebagaimana manusia pada umumnya. Baik Agama maupun Negara memerintahkan supaya menjaga dan melindungi anak sampai ia mampu berdiri kokoh dan mandiri. Kewajiban orang tua terhadap anak adalah merawat, membesarkan dan mengawinkan. Aturan secara formal legalitas tercantum dalam UU No. 35 Tahun 2014 yang merupakan pembaharuan dari UU No. 23 Tahun 2002. Kedua Produk Hukum tersebut (Agama dan Negara) saling menguatkan hak-hak anak dengan tujuan agar anak dapat tumbuh kembang menjadi manusia yang handal, mempunyai prosfek dan mampu berdiri sendiri.

Abstract

Abstract: Islamic educational institutions such as madrasas and Islamic boarding schools have succeeded in building human character with a religious culture that loves the Republic of Indonesia. The slanted view of informal institutions "madrasas and Islamic boarding schools" since its establishment until now still exists. They feel that the output or alumni of informal institutions are less ogled by the national job market, especially internationally. In fact, until now Islamic educational institutions still exist and do not care about these unfounded accusations. Islamic educational institutions are more focused on strengthening and deepening the competence of santri, students, and prospective scholars so that after returning to society they reflect individuals who have character, integrity, broad knowledge, and virtuous character. The method used is descriptive qualitative. While the approach used in literature. The results of the analysis found the following findings that Islamic Education policies from time to time experienced quite heavy dynamics. Dutch-era Islamic education received policy discrimination. Islamic education only got a breath of fresh air after the Dutch leadership fell to Japan. The Japanese government agreed to the request of the Indonesian people. Starting from the establishment of Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, and Senior High Schools, to the establishment of Islamic Colleges in Jakarta. The journey of Islamic education can be said to have truly become independent after Indonesia's independence. There are five problems to evaluate the study of Islamic Education in Indonesia, including Limitations of Government Power, Disagreements on a Problem, Subjectivity in Interpretation, Limitations in Research on Resource Management, and Complexity of Human Behavior. These five problems need to get responses from various parties, it is not enough if they are only handled by a few people, it is necessary for the cooperation of all parties so that ideal policies can be formulated in time.

Abstract

ABSTRACT POLARIZATION OF SOCIAL RELIGIOUS INTERACTION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN THE COMMUNITY OF SIWALANKERTO SUB-DISTRICT, WONOCOLO SURABAYA There are two focus problems in this study, namely: How is the process of changing the pattern of socio-religious interaction and what is the form of polarization of socio-religious interactions during the Covid-19 pandemic in Siwalankerto Village, Wonocolo District? This research was conducted using qualitative research methods and in analyzing this study using the AGIL-Talcott Parson theory. From the results of the study, it was found that there were new patterns in the socio-religious interaction of the Siwalankerto community since the covid-19 pandemic. This new pattern began to become new values ​​in socio-religious life when the government made several policies and regulations relating to the handling of the covid 19 pandemic. With the changing patterns of interaction and the community must be able to adapt to the current pandemic conditions. Changes in socio-religious interactions during the COVID-19 pandemic occurred when people had to adjust to government policies regarding the community in their activities, including in socio-religious activities and the application of strict protocols in every activity, including the implementation of religious rituals. With the COVID-19 pandemic, religious ritual activities which are usually carried out together and between religious activities and social interaction have become a single unit in society, now must change. Government policies and regulations for worship must be carried out in their respective homes so that there is a polarization of social interaction and religious practice during the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstract

the students in pesantren are not only taught religious knowledge, but how the practice of religious science can also be reflected in the attitudes and behaviors of students in their daily activities. The system in pesantren seeks to synergize between cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities. The method used is a qualitative research method, with a type of library approach. The data retrieval method uses documentation, and data analysis uses content or content analysis. Based on the results of the study and analysis, it can be formulated that Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia that is able to integrate cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities through systems. Among the development of cognitive abilities taught in Pesantren is moral science, in addition to the form of lessons, a rule is also regulated that forces students to practice the rules of pesantren which is a squeeze of the values of religious science.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendiskusikan mengenai bagaimana hubungan Taliban dan China dalam konflik Afghanistan Penelitian ini adalah jenis kualitatif, referensi yang digunakan dari berita, artikel jurnal, website resmi pemerintah, dan Mendeley library. Dalam mengumpulkan data, penulis akan menggunakan aplikasi Harzing Publish atau Perish, yang kemudian dioalah menggunakan Vosviewer. Peneletian ini menemukan bahwa kehadiran China di Afghanistan setelah pemerintahan Taliban yang tampaknya lebih menonjol daripada negara lainnya. China saat ini sangat ambisius sebagai kekuatan ekonomi global untuk memperluas pengaruhnya atas perjuangan politik global ke setiap sudut dunia, termasuk Afghanistan. Pada konflik bersenjata di Afghanistan. China berupaya memperluas legitimasi kepada Taliban sebagai kepemimpinan baru Afghanistan.
