Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Abstract

Traditional music, especially Krumpyung Kulon Progo, presents a different performance in the multimedia era. These differences need to be studied in the form of art criticism so that a work of art can be seen objectively. The purpose of this study is to provide a critical review of the results of the transformation of Krumpyung Kulon Progo. The method of this research study uses qualitative with an in-depth analysis approach from Edward Felman's art criticism theory, namely based on description, formal analysis, interpretation, and evaluation. The data collection stages used observation, in-depth interviews with Kulon Progo artists on krumpyung music, and written documentation. Data reliability technique using source triangulation. Data analysis uses four stages starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The art criticism study obtained is related to the results of the transformation in the form of Krumpyung presentation, which is a genre that changes the conception of instruments, songs, and tone systems. The instruments used by adding modern musical instruments such as electric guitar, electric bass, and drum set. Meanwhile, the songs performed are contemporary songs with changes in the nuances of the dangdut genre coupled with a diatonic tonal system. The purpose of the transformation is not to change the authenticity of Krumpyung's traditional music, but to be a persuasive step in regeneration and community support for traditional music.

Abstract

Theatrical discourse in Indonesia is still dominated by Western theater discourses, both theoretically and practically. This domination ordains theater as an art that is distant from the audience, including Makyong. As an effort to bring theater closer to the community, the development of acting methods based on ethnic traditions can be an alternative. The research method that will be used in this study is the Research and Development method developed by Thiagarajan, et al. The stages of implementing the research are as follows: Defining, Designing, Developing. The theory used as a basis in this study is the theory of postcolonial acting put forward by Asrul Sani and concept of theater anthropology from Eugenio Barba. The results of this study are Malay acting training methods arranged in the order of spiritual knowledge based on Tunjuk Ajar Melayu, pantun skills and body training based on Malay dance techniques. The development of the acting training method, which the author calls Framing Malay, aims to collect things that can help actors in creating Malay behavior.

Abstract

Contemporary instrumental music has developed rapidly in recent decades, creating unique sounds and attracting the attention of many listeners. This article aims to explore the techniques and trends in contemporary instrumental music composition in the modern era. The methods used in this research are data analysis and literature review, which include case studies of several prominent instrumental music composers, as well as a review of the latest techniques in contemporary instrumental music composition. The results of this research show that in contemporary instrumental music composition, composers use various techniques to create more dynamic and complex music. Some commonly used techniques are the use of complex harmonies, unusual musical instruments, and modern technology to create innovative sound effects. Trends in contemporary instrumental music composition also continue to change over time, ranging from the fusion of different music genres to the use of AI technology and real-time music applications for sound design. In conclusion, this article provides an overview of the techniques and trends in contemporary instrumental music composition in the modern era. It is hoped that this will provide insights and inspiration for composers, music enthusiasts, and stakeholders in the music industry to continue to develop and create innovative and interesting music in the future.

Abstract

Bedhaya Retnatama dance is one of the classical dances from the Surakarta Hadiningrat Palace. This dance was created by GKR Koes Moertiyah Wandansari during the inauguration of the Surakarta Hadiningrat Kraton Museum. The results of the study show that the form of performance in this dance is almost the same as other Bedhaya dance performances. The difference is that the dance movements are composed more "soblakan" which indicates the firmness conveyed in the theme of this dance. This assertiveness is strengthened by the use of the gandewa property in this dance performance. The firm impression conveyed is packaged elegantly in the presentation of the bedhaya dance which has the characteristics of mbayu mili (smooth). As the reinforcement of the narrative of this dance, cakepan is used which tells about the persistence of contemporary Javanese women. The main objective of this study is to determine the form of the performance of the Bedhaya Retnatama Dance as a whole through the clothing, accompaniment, and properties used. The research in this article uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the description of the forms and elements that influence the creation of the dance drama version of the Yaksa Brajadenta art. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques which include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Yaksa Brajadenta art is one of the products of artistic innovation which is the pride of the people of Wonodoyo Village. This art is realized because there are four elements that influence each other. The first is the genius factor, namely the ability of local residents to learn art on an autodidact basis. The second is resources, namely the source of the materials used to make works of art in the form of wayang stories, ritual life in the village, as well as the form of rampak buta dance. The third is need which includes the group's internal needs and market competition. The fourth is opportunity which includes the opportunity to practice and learn various kinds of arts from other forms and regions. Of the four elements, it is known that if one of the elements is not fulfilled then this art will not be realized.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal and describe the structure of the Andun Dance  in a wedding ceremony in Tumbuan Village, Lubuk Sandi District, Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The research instrument was the researcher himself and assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. The data in this study uses primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The steps to analyze the data are data collection, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study show that the structure of the Andun Dance  performance in the wedding ceremony consists of 3 parts. 1) Opening; i.e. performing bedik (Sarafal Anam). Bedikir at the wedding ceremony has the aim of conveying praise to Allah SWT, praying for the bride and groom to become a sakinah, mawaddah and warohmah family, and entertaining the family and guests with Islamic nuances. 2) Core Section; namely performing the Andun and Berejung dances. The purpose of the Andun Dance  in a wedding ceremony is to introduce and socialize between the families of the bride and groom. Andun Dance  has 3 types of movements, namely Eagle Movement, Lelayang Movement, and Saluang Ngambat Ulak Movement. Berejung in a wedding party aims to express the dancers' hearts to the bride and groom in the form of congratulations and messages in satirical language through poetry. 3) Cover; namely showing Mencak. The purpose of Mencak in a wedding ceremony is toughness, a man's dexterity in protecting his family.

Abstract

This1study1aims to1determine the influence of learning interest on the learning outcomes of class XI1students on the subject of cultural arts of class XII students at SMA Negeri 3 Payakumbuh. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study was 320 students1of1class1XI SMA Negeri 3 Payakumbuh with a sample of 76 students. The data in this study used primary data and1secondary1data. Data1collection techniques are carried out by means of questionnaires, learning outcomes data. Variables in this study consist of Free Variables (Independent Variables) and Bound Variables (dependent Variables). Data analysis techniques are carried out with validity tests and reliability tests. The1results1showed that there was an influence of interest in learning on learning outcomes in the subject of cultural arts of class XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Payakumbuh. It is known that the calculated F value is 45.663 while the Ftabel is 3.97. Because Fhitung > Ftabel means, that the variable of interest in learning affects student learning outcomes. Based on the Determinant Coefficient (R2) table, an R2 value of 0.382 was obtained, which means that learning interest can affect learning outcomes with strength as much as 38.2% while the other 61.8% of learning interest is influenced by other variables that are not measured in this study. That is, the level of interest in learning students affects learning outcomes. The variable interest in learning, which contributes 38.2% to student learning outcomes, is a sufficient but still relatively low result.

Abstract

Pencak silat can be said as a martial art that has been included in the presentation of performing arts. Because Ibing pencak Silat already contains aesthetic aspects which are distilled into a form of motion for the needs of performing dance. The movement structure of pencak silat has its own technique, broadly speaking it contains attack and defense techniques arranged in such a way as to create a beautiful style. Along with the development of the era of pencak silat, it also follows its development, which now, apart from being a martial art, pencak silat also doubles as a performing art. The purpose of this research was to obtain data and information about the influence of Cimande style pencak silat on the development of Ibing pencak Silat in Jampangkulon. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and also documentation. The results of this study show that the Cimande martial arts school is the oldest of several martial arts schools on the island of Java and is known as a large school. Silat Cimande is known as a style of silat that uses and relies more on bare hands, every movement showing movements that explore the limbs of the human body as a gift from God. Cimande's pencak silat can be called one of the parents of the currently circulating pencak styles, and Cimande's movements are also some of the basics of movements that have been developed now. With this research, it is possible to obtain and obtain information about several pagurons in Jampangkulon by studying and discovering the movements resulting from the development of Cimande style pencak silat movements.

Abstract

The creativity and skills of SBK in SD are enhanced through integrated dance, including character building and relationship with history. This study aims to find a way of learning art that is integrated with history lessons in elementary schools to increase early childhood creativity. This study took a sample of 36 grade 3 elementary school students with a focus on student experience and learning outcomes. Research methods: qualitative descriptive approach; data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings: early childhood can understand subjects through an integrated approach, increasing creativity and character from an early age. As creators and implementers of blended learning, teachers play a role in planning, implementing, and evaluating through group discussions or blended learning simulations to improve the ability to implement blended learning. Interesting findings include learning history that is related to art and culture and the difficulties of the Cirebon clan Topeng Dance which is flexible for children aged 7-12 years to learn, with the hope that this phenomenal study will hone children's creativity and shape character from an early age.

Abstract

Kaba Gadih Basanai is a very popular story for the Minangkabau people and gives a very deep meaning in life because there is a historical background to the life of the people in the colonial era which was full of twists and turns of heartbreaking struggles. The purpose of this study is to examine how music behaves in conveying Rabab Pasisie kaba Gadih Basanai. This research is research with a descriptive qualitative approach, the researcher makes observations, describes then gives meaning to the symbols found. The Gadih Basanai song has traditional musical elements played by all the artists all of these artists have a different musical taste for the quality of each talent they have, and different characteristics when the performers of the Rabab (Violin) arts serve it. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Musical behaviour is presented in various forms and musical variants created by each Rabab (violin) maker based on the artist's level of intelligence, to be able to give a musical sense that is presented during performances of Gadih Basanai singing or songs. Then the behaviour of the Rabab makers seems clear that the Rabab which is played through the instrument instrumental melodies often give or brings up new melodies through inspiration by the players themselves, who always synergize between instruments to become an interesting work and not out of frames the melody on the coastal Rabab itself.
