Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

Abstract The article aims at exploring the developing of Iyo-Iyo dance in SD Negeri 15/III Tanjung Pauh Mudik, Keliling Danau, Kerinci. This was a descriptif qualitative study. The technique of data collection used were literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analisis was done trough classifying the data based on the concept frame. The result indicated that the effort to attain the development of Iyo-Iyo dance in SD 15/III Kerinci was done throught teaching the dance to the students which are not the offspring of “ depati anum “ who also regards as the Iyo-Iyo dancer in “ kenduri sko “ event. The training of Iyo-Iyo dance was conducted during juli 2-6 2013. The Iyo-Iyo dance taught to the students was only introduced as an ordinary and entertaining dance to audience, not as a costom and ritual dance.   Kata kunci: Upaya, Pengembangan, tari, Iyo-Iyo

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to find out the results of increased student learning Class VII. 6 through direct instruction model on the subjects of art and culture (music) in SMP Negeri 13 Padang. The type of research was classroom action research. Classroom action research procedure consisted of four stages, they were planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Techniques of data collection were done by literature study, observation, test and documentation. The results showed that the application of direct learning model in the learning of art and culture (music) was very effective in improving student learning outcomes. From the learning process of student activity on cycle 1, it was found that the average of overall score of 1, 2 and 3 was 52%. While in cycle 2, the overall average score of meetings 1, 2 and 3 was 81%, the average student learning outcomes increased significantly from cycle 1 to cycle 2 with very good criteria. Judging from the data of the students' learning outcomes both written test and practice ability in the average pre cycle value 68 that increased in cycle 1 with the average value of 80 and cycle 2 with an average value of 85.3. Seen in the results of students' ability to practice improvement in each cycle that was in pre cycle had only has average score  67, cycle 1 with the average value of 80.3 and cycle 2 with an average value of 85. Keywords:                 Results of the Study, Direct Instruction Model, Cultural Art (Music),

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the efforts to preserve Dampieng Salendang dance in Koto XI Tarusan district. This type of research was qualitative that produced descriptive analytical data. These types of data used both primary and secondary data. The main instrument in this study was the researcher and it was assisted by using supporting instruments such as stationery, photo camera and video camera. Techniques ofdata collection were carried out bytaking literature study, involved observation, interviews and documentation. Techniques of data analysiswere done by collecting, describing and making data conclusions. The result shows that theDampieng Salendang dance is a traditional dance that is only performed on a wedding party for the descendants of the princesses in Koto XI Tarusan district. Its development is halted along with the extinction of the royal system in Indonesia. So, an effort is made to preserve theSalendang Dampieng dance. The efforts that have been made in this study are: (1) Training and (2)Dance Performance of Dampieng Salendangin Nagari Nanggalo, Koto XI Tarusan district. The steps for conducting the training are: (a) Making an agreement with the owner of Dance or daughter of Puteri Darna. (b) Arranging the movements of theDampieng Salendang dancein the form of welcoming marapulai, (c) Training of theDance at the Dampieng Pucuak SalendangRabuang Studio. Meanwhile, theDampieng Salendang danceis Performed at the Nagari Nanggalo community wedding party in Koto XI Tarusan district on August 18, 2019. The conclusion of the study proves that theDampieng Salendang dancecan now be accepted by the community in the form of preservation which is carried out in the form of training and performances, which can be displayed and used for a community wedding party event generally in the Koto XI Tarusan district eventhough they are not the descendants of Raja Tarusan.  Keywords: Conservation effort,dance Dampieng Salendang, Puti-puti descendant, Koto XI Tarusan

Abstract

This article aims to describe the quality of the item about the Mid-term test of seventh-grade students of SMPN 29 Sijunjung which includes the level of difficulty, distinguishing power and the effectiveness of deception. The sample in this study was taken for 50 students’ answer sheets. The results show that the results of the analysis of the difficulty level of mid-term test of art and cultural 7th grade students of SMPN 29 Sijunjung academic year of 2018/2019 have a difficult category for 3 items (12%), items with medium categories are 14 items (56% ) and easy question categories are 8 items (32%). The item differentiation power has a bad category distinguishing power for 9 items (36%), sufficient categories for 7 items (28%), good categories for 7 items (28%), and very good categories are 2 items (8%). The effectiveness of deception of the questions from 25 items, it was found 8 items (32%) the function of the deceiver was said to be good or already functioning, while 17 items (68%) the function of the deception was not good. Joint analysis of mid-term test of art and cultural 7th grade students of SMPN 29 Sijunjung academic year of 2018/2019 at the level of difficulty, differentiating power and effectiveness of question deception, items of good quality are 5 items (20%), good enough are 6 items ( 24%), and not good (bad) are 14 items (56%).

Abstract

Abstract   This research discussed about the function of traditional art, Rabanea, in the wedding party in Nagari Sarik Alahan Tigo, Sub-district Hiliran Gumanti, Solok Regency. The topic was chosen because the researcher wanted to get description about the function of Rabanea in Nagari Sarik Alahan Tigo used in wedding party. It was a qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method. The data were collected through library studies, observation, interview, recording and photography. The rabanea is presented by using rabanea musical instruments as the accompaniment of poems in barzanji book and  four rhyme poetry in Minangkabaunese. Rabanea is used in traditional ceremony and religious matters, for example, in wedding ceremony. The use of rabanea is arranged by niniak mamak nan balimo (the five of traditional leaders) who stay in Nagari Sarik Alahan Tigo. Viewing the role of rabanea especially in wedding party, it can be concluded that the functions of Rabanea are as communication tool, entertainment, cultural inheritance, social and religious institution establishement, and the function related to spiritual and economical income.   Keyword:  Function, rabanea, wedding party

Abstract

This research aims to explain the significant influence or not on the use of audiovisual powerpoint media on the results of studying Cultural Arts (Dance) in Grade VIII-2 SMP Negeri 12 Lubuklinggau South Sumatra Province. The design of the study used was a simple experimental study with one sample on 36 students of grade VIII-2 SMP Negeri 12 Lubuklinggau. The design of this one case one sample study will place students at once as control objects and research objects. Research instruments are data on student learning results obtained from post-test 1 and 2 after KBM. The results of the study prove that the hypothesis of research work is accepted, where there is a significant influence on the use of visual media powerpoint on the results of learning cultural arts (dance) in Grade VIII-2 SMP Negeri 12 Lubuklinggau South Sumatra Province. These results also explain that the use of more creative and interactive powerpoint media, where videos are included in the powerpoint media encourages better student attention. With good attention in learning, resulting in enthusiastic and interested students in learning dance. As a result of enthusiasm, attention and interest in learning the dance, the results of students' learning can be improved.

Abstract

Abstract The proses of making and producing the music artwork “Giant Step” aimed at expressing the musicians’ experience that had a special meaning on the use of the harmony of two tones with the use of interval (the space between two tones) that had a huge space from the first tone to the combination tone with the electric bass as the instrument. The huge interval was used to create harmony in this artwork. Some of them were sekt, sept, octave, none, decime and undecime, the interval between the tone was based on the range of the fingers and the needs of  this artwork. In this artwork, the writer used the fusion style in which there was a combination between rock, funk and jazz style. The writer aimed at performing an artwork that had an energy and spirit from Rock and Funk style as well as it got the harmony from the Jazz style so that it could give its special uniqueness and characteristics. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to describe the implementation of learning ensamble music at 7th grade in MTs Lubuk Kilangan, Padang. The type of research was qualitative research with the descriptive analysis approach which was carried out in MTs Lubuk Kilangan. The object of the research was the implementation of learning ensamble music. The research instrument was the researcher itself and assisted by the supporting instruments such as stationery and photo cameras. The technique of data collection was done by observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study showed that in the process of planning of learning ensamble music has not been run in accordance with the lesson plan. Since there are several indicators of learning that are not reached, in the implementation of learning, the students and teachers became obstructed due to the lack of facilities and infrastructure of learning ensamble music, such as musical instruments, whiteboards, books and modules/students’ worksheet as well as classroom that are not adequate yet. It caused the result of students’ assessment was not perfect and it could be seen from the results of students who did not achieve the minimum passing standards. From the result of the study, it was only half the students who passed it. Then, in the implementation of this learning activity, students have not been able to play a musical instrument with the right technique. Keywords: Ensamble music, Learning implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the form of a Kasidah Rebana presentation in a wedding party in Jorong SarohaTamiang, Lembah Melintang District, West Pasaman Regency. This research is a qualitative research which focuseson getting issues related to the topic. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The development of sophisticated era and the cultures and arts developed in community give positive and negative effects. However, the art of Kasidah Rebana in the Jorong Saroha Tamiang still exists and is the choice of the community to be presented in a wedding party. The presentation form of Kasidah Rebana in the wedding party now has undergone many changes towards a more modern direction in accordance with the times. This can be seen from the sound system and formations, which neatly arranged by the group on stage, provided by the committee. Based on the composition, the rhythm pattern played is in accordance to the rhythmic musical instrument as well as the keyboard melody combined with chord harmonization and sound distribution. The vocalist sings the song according to the structure of the song's form and the expression according to the song's verse. These are combined to produce a beautiful tambourine blend. Based on the results of the study, to be more creative is an advice the author gives to the group. Song references, music compositions and costumes can be differently arranged, for instance. Thus, it is more interesting and more demanded by the community. The form of a Kasidah Rebana presentation is a mixed ensemble played by 12 players consisting of two vocalists, two tambourine players, two rhythm players, two bass players, three ketipung players, and one keyboard player.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is howthe implementation of cultural art learning media (music) using audiovisual media at class IX in SMP 2 Pariaman. Type of this research was classroom action research that was classified as qualitative research. The research method was carried out by using the class action research method proposed by Suharsimi Arikunto as follows: (1) Planning (2) Acting (3)Observing (4) Observing (4) Reflecting. Techniques of data collection used some  instrumentsin the form of students observation sheets, observations and teacher performance in learning process, meanwhile, in determining the quality of students learning outcomes used anevaluation / test sheets. he results show that the use of audiovisual learning media can improve the students learning outcomes in Cultural Arts (Music) subject. The initial average value is 70.00, in the first cycle is 71.87 and in the second cycle is 87.34.
