Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

            Purposed of this research is to decribe forms  presentation about art of Baruda on khatam Al-quran in Ladang laweh, Lintau Buo Utara, Tanah Datar. This research useg qualitative forms with descriptive method. An object of research is: presentation of Baruda on khatam Al-quran in Ladang Laweh, Lintau Buo Utara, Tanah Datar. Data collection is doing by library studied, observation, inteview, video record, voice record dan  photography. Processing data useg by  qualitative analysis. From an analyzing found that presentation of Baruda on khatam Al-quran in Ladang Laweh, Lintau Buo Utara, Tanah Datar consist of: amount of nine players byarrack forms, useg musical instrument of Rebana, a song to accompanied Rebana was read by Barzanji, position players Baruda is in back part of line khatam Al-quran. Costume useg an uniform like a moeslim clothes or batik clothes.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to analyze the alu katentong rhythm in Nagari Padang Laweh, Tanah Datar Regency. This analysis was conducted in order to clarify the rhythm of Alu Katentong art songs. Alu katentong has various rhythms. From the various rhythms, analysis was done to see some rhythms that had the same pattern with each other. The results of the study showed that there were some similarities between the rhythm of one alu and other alu that contained in the same or different songs. This study proved that, there were 7 different types of rhythms in different songs and with different names. Beside the rhythm, the various beep tone from 3 different types of wood also became the identity of alu katentong. Keywords: Analysis and Rhythm.

Abstract

Zapin Siak dance is a traditional Malay dance which has been cultured, lived, and developed in line with human life from time to time. Zapin Siak dance is danced by two male dancers taking parallel position in a form of motion which generally uses a lot of. This is a qualitative research using a content analysis method, known as content analysis. The object of research was Zapin Siak Dance in Kampung Dalam Subdistrict, Siak District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The research instrument used was the researcher itself and was assisted by writing instruments, cameras, and flash drives. The data analysis was done by describing and interpreting various movements of the Zapin Siak dance. It refers to the elements of motion: the head, body, hands, and The results show that the movement structure of Zapin Siak Dance in Siak District, Siak Regency, Riau Province, consists of 22 kinem elements, 22 morphokinem elements, 7 motif elements, and one overall dance form, namely Zapin Siak dance. Zapin Siak dance has a syntagmatic relationsip between the motif level and a paradigmatic relationship in overall dance.

Abstract

This article aims to describe and explain the management system of the art workshop Sarai Sarumpun in order to manage the bun well to be able to set the schedule to appear so much in one day. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The main instrument in this research is its own researchers and assisted with supporting instruments such as notebooks, note taking tools, video cameras, photo cameras, and tape recorders. The data types in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are conducted by way of library studies, observation, interviews, documentation. The steps for analyzing data are data reduction, data presentation and withdrawal of conclusions. The results showed that the management system run by the Art Gallery of Sarai Sarumpun can run well. The management system carried out by the art Snggar Sarai Sarumpun is included in the organization of the line (a form of organization where direct authority is in a vertical and fully from leadership to its subordinates). The advantage of the line organization, all decisions can be resolved directly because in a particular situation the leader becomes one of the main targets in problem solving. Disadvantages of the line organization, if there is an issue or problem can not be resolved quickly because the leader is not in place. Thus the management of the line Oganisasi to solve the problem or problems in the workshop, the head of the workshop became the first person to complete and resolve the issue.

Abstract

Abstract The research aimed at analyzing Sike musical form arranged by Sanggar Melati. The design of the research was qualitative using content analysis. The findings showed the Assale and Aiyala song arranged and managed by Sanggar Melati appeared within one part. The pattern of the song were managed using stepped and jumped interval. The antecedent phrase was feminine beginning and masculine ending. The melody was played in D minor 4/4. Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this study is to describe the implementation of the extracurricular Drumband in SMPN 15 Padang. The type of research used is qualitative research that emphasizes the qualitative descriptive approach. This means that research data in accordance with existing on the object under study, the activity drumband in SMPN 15 Padang. The research data was collected by observation, interview, and documentation through data collecting instrument in the form of stationery and photo media / video recording data. The findings of the study indicate that although drumband practice at SMPN 15 Padang is well managed, there is a problem in the student participation in this activity. At the beginning of recruitment participants, usually students who are interested to follow drumband quite a lot. But over time many do not continue keiikutsernya it. After being reviewed in the field, the problem of lack of competing activities, lack of coach condition, and equipment that is not well maintained is the problem point in the extracurricular activities of Drumband at SMPN 15 Padang.Keywords: Implementation, extracurricular activities, Drum Band

Abstract

AbstractThis work aims to express the life story of the education (lectures), the writer who at first only thought that entering the world of education (lectures) was only for fun and just going along, only for riots and never thinking about the real life (the future), and eventually, the writer was aware and got motivation from within his subsconsciousness after seeing the results of the struggle of other people or friends of the writer himself. Then, from the motivation that had been gained, the author expressed and conveyed a flashback of his life which at first was very happy and proud because he had entered the world of lectures, lived days full of joy and riots so he forgot his own responsibilities as a student. The writer who was complacent about the life he lived in. Finally the writer was aware and also motivated to be able to achieve what has been achieved by other people or friends of the author expresses some kinds of atmosphere such as happiness, tense, sadness/repentance, and end with a feeling of emotion of true happiness through musical composition. The idea of this work began with the writer's mood in each of its parts.Keywords: Bright After Rain

Abstract

This study aims to describe and reveal the presentation form of Galombang dance at a wedding party in Jorong Koto Kociak Tujuah Koto Talago village, Guguak sub-district, Lima Puluh Kota district. This is a qualitative research using a descriptive analysis method. The object of the research was Galombang dance at a wedding party in Jorong Koto Kociak, Tujuah Koto Talago village, Guguak sub-district, Lima Puluh Kota district and was focused on the form of its presentation. The data were collected through literature review, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was done by using triangulation technique which compared the data from observation to those from interview and documentation data. The results of the study generally show that the Galombang dance is performed in groups by11 dancers. It is performed for eight minutes in front of the bride's house, and it is performed at noon after the procession. Interestingly, the Galombang dance in Jorong Koto Kociak, Tujuah Koto Talag village, is performed by 50 year-old dancers and over (elderly). The presentation form of Galombang Dance at a Wedding Party in Jorong Koto Kociak, Tujuah Koto Talago village, Guguak sub-district, Lima Puluh Kota district is a representational form.The elements of the presentation form of this dance are as follows: (1) The motion of respect, the opening motion, the maagiah kaba motion, the maimbau motion, the basuluah motion, the bagalanggang motion, and silang jentik motion. (2) the Galombang Dance uses a floor pattern of two rows backwards and three carano bearers.(3) The music that accompanies the Galombang dance consists of: bansi, gandang, talempong, and tambourine. (4) The property of Galombang Dance isa carano. (5) The make-up used is pretty makeup. The dancers wear baju kuruang basiba, skirts, scarves, tikuluak kompong and accessories such as necklaces. (6) In addition, the Galombang dance is performed in front of the bride's house.

Abstract

Abstrak Tor-tor was firstly introduced by the ancestors from North Sumatera. It consisted of three main parts which were the dance called Tor-tor Dance, the music for accompanyiang the dance called as Gondang Dua and the song called as Onang-onang (Ende-ende). In the wedding ceremony, there were four kinds of Tor-tori performed: Tor-tor Raja-raja/Namora mora, Andorsoayu, Naposo/Nauli Bulung and Tor-tor Pengantin. Tor-tor was commonly performed in the afternoon (in the closing stage of a tradisional wedding ceremony). Gondang Dua and Onang-onang (Ende-ende) wich accompanied Tor-tor dance in a wedding party were presented in the formn of dance and music show in Alaman Nabolak (a large yard).   Kata Kunci: Tor-tor Art, Silaping, kecamatan Ranah Batahan Kabupaten Pasaman Barat

Abstract

Abstract The aims of this study is to describe the preservation of the dance ”Asyek Mandi di Taman” in Desa Mukai Hilir, the district of Siulak Mukai, Kerinci by revealing how the preservation was conducted in an effort to develop the dance based on the quantity aspect of the performer(s)  of this dance and the quality aspect of its costume development. This survey method applied is qualitative research. Data collection involved library research, observation, interviews, and documentation. The techniques applied in analyzing the data were: collecting the data, categorizing, the data and analyzing the data based on the theory suitable for this study. The data was analyzed in accordance with the problems discussed in this study. The final result was the description of the finding in the form of a report.The results of this study reveals that the numbers of the people involved in the tradition of “Asyek Mandi di Taman” have increased. This can be seen from the expansion of the regions chosen for the performance of “Asyek Mandi di Taman”. Initially, there were only three people involved in this performance however it has reached the total of 24 people now from various villages such as Desa Koto Rendah, Desa Siulak Gedang, Desa Siulak Panjang, Desa Dusun Baru, Pasar Senen, Koto Aro, Lubuk Nagodang, and Mukai Mudik. Similarly, the costumes of the dancers of “Asyek Mandi di Taman” have also developed in terms of the styles of the costumes and how the costumes are worn. The efforts to preserve this dance were evident in the following event such as the “Acara Seni of ISI Padang Panjang on April 30, 2016, the dance was performed in the farewell party of the Mts Siulak District on May 28, 2016, and the “Balemang” event in Desa Siulak, the  district of Siulak on June 5, 2016. All the four performances were viewed as successful ones.Key words: Preservation, Asyek Mandi di Taman
