Abstract

Gender roles that are detrimental to women can impact economic growth. This study aims to determine the extent to which the women's labor force participation rate, average years of women education, women's life expectancy, the gender empowerment index, and the gender inequality index influence economic growth in Central Java Province from 2018 until 2022 by employing panel data regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that life expectancy has a significant impact on economic growth, as improved health leads to higher productivity. The inclusion of gender empowerment index variables and gender inequality index distinguishes this study from previous research. This research emphasizes women's empowerment by disseminating information to the community regarding the significance of gender equality.

Abstract

The labor problem that often occurs in Indonesia is unemployment. The high level of unemployment has a direct impact on various aspect of life, especially in the socio-economic dimension. This study aims to analyze the factors that allegedly affect the unemployment rate, namely the labor force participation rate, provincial minimum wage, and inflation. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia. The analysis technique applied is multiple linier regression analysis using time series data for the period 2010-2023. The result of the analysis shows that simultaneously, the labor force participation rate, provincial minimum wage, and inflation have no significant influence on the open unemployment rate with a significance level (α) of 5%. However, partially only the provincial minimum wage has an effect on the open unemployment rate, while the labor force participation rate and inflation show no significant effect partially on the open unemployment.

Abstract

One of the important indicators for knowing the condition of successful human development in an area is HDI. DKI Jakarta is considered a province on the island of Java with a high human development index. A high HDI will provide an opportunity for a region to identify successful human development practices. This study aims to understand the influence of GRDP, life expectancy, expected years of schooling on HDI in DKI Jakarta in 2010-2023. The data used in this study is in the form of secondary data using a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression.  Data source from BPS DKI Jakarta Province. So the results of this research indicate that GRDP has a partially positive and significant impact on HDI in DKI Jakarta Province, but life expectancy and expected length of schooling partially have a negative influence with an error rate of 5% (0.05) on HDI in DKI Province Jakarta. Simultaneously, GRDP, Life Expectancy Level, and Expected Years of Schooling have an impact on HDI in DKI Jakarta Province

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a profession that is the vision and mission of almost all universities in Indonesia. And this is a problem for the education sector., namely how to create or build an entrepreneurial spirit in the midst of a diverse society, considering the limited available jobs. Higher education is not only a job seeker or graduate but also a job creator. This research intends to develop a histoentrepreneurship learning model to improve entrepreneurship soft skills of history education students at the University of Jambi. The research subjects were 34 students. Data collection methods with interviews and questionnaires. The development model uses Borg & Gall which was refined by Sukmadinata. The study's findings revealed that the two expert validators' assessment received a score of 4.2 (very good), the small group test received a score of 4.8 (very good), the broad group cocba test received a score of 4.6 (very good), and the model effectiveness test in enhancing students' soft skills yielded a sigmification value of 0.000 (<0.05) using an independent sample t test. The conclusion is that the histoentrepreneurship model has a positive influence on improving the soft skills of students

Abstract

This study explores how alternative learning resources can be tailored to diverse learning styles in accounting education for university level. It investigates the alignment between students’ learning preferences—visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic—and the resources they find most effective. Through surveys and interviews, the findings suggests that students benefit from a wide range of learning materials, such as multimedia tutorials, podcasts, textbooks, and interactive simulations. Blended learning approaches, which combine traditional and digital resources, are proven to effectively support different learning styles. These findings emphasize the importance of providing accessible, flexible, and diverse learning materials to improve student engagement and academic performance. Additionally, the study addresses challenges related to digital access and the role of educators in fostering an inclusive learning environment. overall, this research underscores the need for adaptive teaching strategies to varied learning needs of accounting students in higher education.

Abstract

At SMA Negeri 3 Pasuruan, Economics is an elective subject for pupils in Grade XI. The students consciously choose economics as one of the subjects that they want to study in more depth. Nevertheless, the enthusiasm of pupils to participate in economic learning, particularly in abstract learning subjects, is relatively small. One of the causes of pupils' low interest in learning is due to the lack of interesting and inappropriate learning media with pupils' needs in learning economics. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how the use of electronic comics affects the interest of Grade XI pupils in learning the topic of wage system material in economics subjects at SMAN 3 Pasuruan. A mixed method approach that combines a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental model through data collection instruments in the form of surveys, pre-tests, post-tests in control and experimental classes. In addition, this study used a qualitative approach through observation and interview instruments. The results of the research show that electronic comic books can increase students' understanding of and interest in economic subjects, especially on the topic of the wage system material. The effectiveness of electronic comic learning media significantly contributes to the learning of abstract material through appropriate and interesting visualization

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the company's financial performance whether it is good or not and predict bankruptcy whether this company has the potential to go bankrupt or not, in addition to the researcher hopes that this research can be considered for readers or investors to invest in PT Gojek Tokopedia Tbk. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with secondary data and uses the Dupont and almant z-score methods. The results of this study show that the company's financial performance during the period 2020 – 2023 has not been good, which can be seen from the results of the Du Pont analysis which is still said to be far below the existing standard because the value of the average ROI during the period 2020 – 2023 is -111% with the industry standard > 20% and the average ROE value during the period 2020 – 2023 is -167% with the industry standard > 40%. And for the results of the bankruptcy analysis of the number of times the company has entered the bankruptcy danger zone, which can be seen from the results of the study using the Almant Z – Score method where in 2020 and 2023 the calculation values are -4.66 and -19.29 which is too far from the threshold of the set health standard of >2.6.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether TikTok shop, pocket money, and financial literacy influence the consumptive behavior of TikTok application users among students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau Islamic University. This research quantitative descriptive research methods using SPSS version 12 software. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to 358 respondents, which were obtained using the slovin formula of approximately 3333 student populations at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau Islamic University. The main data comes from a questionnaire with data analysis techniques, namely the classic assumtion test consisting of the normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and hypothesis testing, namely the multiple linear regression test, t test, f test and coefficient of determination test. The researchiresults showithat TikTok Shop has a influenceion consumptive behavior of TikTok application users. Pocket money influences the consumptive behavior of TikTok application users.. Financial literacy influences consumptive behavior of TikTok application users. TikTok Shop (X1), pocket money (X2), and financial literacy (X3) simultaneously have a significant effect on consumptive behavior (Y) of TikTok application users.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business strategies implemented by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kebonagung Village, Sukodono Subdistrict, to enhance their product sales. The research background highlights the importance of economic development based on local potential and innovation, as well as the challenges faced by MSMEs, such as limited capital, facilities, and human resources. The study employed a qualitative method with in-depth interviews conducted with 30 MSME entrepreneurs. The results indicate that the MSME entrepreneurs applied three generic business strategies according to Michael E. Porter: Differentiation Strategy, Low-Cost Strategy, and Focus Strategy. The differentiation strategy was implemented by creating unique and high-quality products, while the low-cost strategy focused on setting competitive prices. Additionally, the focus strategy aimed at understanding and meeting the needs of specific market segments. Efforts to increase sales were carried out through product innovation, market research, and setting clear sales targets. The study concludes that the appropriate implementation of business strategies can assist MSMEs in Kebonagung Village in increasing sales and achieving business sustainability

Abstract

Previous studies on accounting students' interest in a career in PAF only analyzed the direct relationship between accounting knowledge, job market, and financial rewards, without considering the moderating effect of financial rewards. This study investigates the relationship between accounting knowledge and job market considerations on interest in a career in PAF and the role of financial rewards as moderation. Quantitative method and snowball sampling were used in this study with 151 accounting student respondents in Indonesia. Research analysis through moderated regression analysis. The findings of this study are that accounting knowledge has a negative effect, while interest in working at KAP increases as a result of labor market considerations. Financial rewards weaken the impact of accounting knowledge and strengthen the influence of labor market considerations. Accounting knowledge and positive labor market considerations are expected to encourage career interest in PAF, especially with the support of financial rewards
