Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Servicescape, Perceived Value, and Price Perception on the Purchase Decision of membership packages at FIT HUB Setiabudi Semarang. The data were collected through questionnaires distributed to members using a 4-point Likert scale. The sampling technique applied was purposive sampling, with 123 respondents selected as participants. Data processing was conducted using SPSS version 25. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, the equation obtained is Y = 0.729 + 0.235X1 + 0.279X2 + 0.272X3. The t-test results indicate that each independent variable has a significant effect on the Purchase Decision (Y). The F-test shows that the regression model is feasible, which means that Servicescape (X1), Perceived Value (X2), and Price Perception (X3) simultaneously influence the Purchase Decision (Y). The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.668, indicating that 66.8% of the variance in Purchase Decision (Y) can be explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining 33.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

The research sample included all employees (n=35) using a total sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires and literature review, and analyzed using SPSS version 25 with validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, as well as F and t tests. The results indicate that both work engagement and job satisfaction significantly influence employee commitment. The obtained multiple linear regression equation is Y = -5.786 + 0.474X1 + 0.696X2, with the two variables contributing 71.3% to employee commitment, while the remaining 28.7% is influenced by factors beyond the scope of this study.

Abstract

Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior framework, this study aims to analyze the influence of Service Quality and Price Perception on Purchasing Decisions among passengers at Ahmad Yani Port, Ternate, North Maluku. The survey approach used primary data through a structured questionnaire to 100 respondents with direct experience using port services. Sampling was determined using the Slovin formula and purposive criteria to ensure representativeness. The results showed that Service Quality had no significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, while Price Perception had a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, both variables were able to explain almost 60% of the variation in passenger decisions, with price aspects proving more dominant than service quality in the context of maritime transportation. Perceptions of affordability, fairness, and price competitiveness emerged as the main determinants in influencing consumer choices. This study's contributions are both theoretical and practical. Theoretically, the study enriches the consumer behavior literature by confirming that price considerations can shift the role of service attributes in the context of island transportation. Practically, the results recommend that port managers prioritize transparent, affordable, and competitive tariff strategies, accompanied by improvements in service facilities and staff responsiveness to maintain long-term passenger satisfaction and loyalty

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the influence of service quality and price perception on the decision to purchase Sea Freight Forwarding (EMKL) services at PT Ardana Sejahtera Abadi in Semarang. Against the backdrop of increasing international trade activity and fierce competition in the logistics industry, a company's ability to provide quality services and set competitive prices has become an important factor influencing customer purchasing decisions. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach, employing a saturated sampling technique on the entire population of PT Ardana Sejahtera Abadi customers, totaling 34 respondents. The data analysis methods used were validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The research data were analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 26. The results of this study indicate that service quality has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions with a multiple linear regression value of Y = 0.255 + 0.351 X1 + 0.555 X2. Service quality and price perception contribute 47,5% to purchasing decisions, while the remainder is influenced by factors outside the scope of this study. These findings confirm that EMKL companies need to maintain service quality, particularly reliability and responsiveness, and implement value-based pricing strategies to ensure that price perceptions remain positive.

Abstract

Throughout the period 2022–2024, the average Price to Book Value (PBV) of companies in the transportation and logistics sector experienced a consistent downward trend. This decline was accompanied by a weakening trend in the IDXTRANS stock index, indicating financial dynamics that require further scrutiny, particularly regarding capital structure, profitability, and liquidity. This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure, profitability, and liquidity on the value of companies in the transportation and logistics sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2022–2024. Capital structure was measured using the Debt to Equity (DER) ratio, profitability using Return on Assets (ROA), and liquidity using the Current Ratio (CR), as well as firm value, proxied by PBV. The sample was obtained through purposive sampling of 19 companies with a total of 228 quarterly observations. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression, t- and F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) calculation. The findings of this study indicate that individually, profitability and capital structure have a significant positive impact on firm value. Conversely, the liquidity variable does not show a significant effect. Simultaneously, all three variables significantly influence firm value. The results of this study provide a strategic foundation for management, investors, and other stakeholders in examining and determining significant financial indicators in the process of assessing a company's market value

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of workplace facilities and cross-cultural communication on the performance of back-office employees at PT Matahari Tire Indonesia. The research background is based on the assumption that limitations in workplace facilities and cultural diversity among employees may influence work effectiveness and performance achievement. This study employed a quantitative approach with a population of 172 back-office employees. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, by selecting respondents from departments experiencing higher intensity of issues related to workplace facilities and cross-cultural communication compared to other departments, thus considered most relevant to the research focus. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies, and analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine both simultaneous and partial effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results indicate that workplace facilities and cross-cultural communication have a significant effect on the performance of back-office employees, both jointly and individually. This implies that the better the workplace facilities provided and the more effective the cross-cultural communication among employees, the higher the level of performance achieved. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the company continue to improve the quality of workplace facilities and foster effective cross-cultural communication. In addition, integrating cultural training programs and creating a work environment that supports collaboration across diverse backgrounds are essential to strengthen overall employee performance.
