Abstract

The 21st century demands quality in all human endeavors and work. The 21st century demands quality human resources (HR). Science education in the 2013 curriculum basically has the aim of preparing students to have an understanding of science and technology through the development of knowledge, attitudes, and skills so that they can understand and solve environmental problems that exist in real life. The success of students in mastering the competencies or materials that have been taught by teachers can be known by evaluating learning outcomes. This research belongs to the type of meta-analysis research that is research conducted by summarizing, reviewing and analyzing research data from several previous research results. Statistical data from each study were recorded, including mean scores, standard deviations, chi squared, t-values, and p-values. These values are converted to the effect size metric (ES). The results showed that the effect of Integrated Science learning in the Connected Model type based on the greatest level of education was at the elementary level. The effect of integrated science learning on the Connected Model type based on subject matter has the greatest effect on the digestive system material. The effect of integrated science learning on the Connected Model type is based on student learning outcomes on aspects of knowledge and skills equally in the medium category.

Abstract

Learning that is carried out in the world of education is currently running on new policies by implementing the 2013 curriculum education system which is rooted in local and national culture, which means that it must provide opportunities for students to learn according to the needs and potential of their respective regions so that students can take advantage of it. technology in the learning process, thus education will continue to progress and develop. One of the teaching materials that can be made following the 2013 Curriculum under regional potential and utilizing technology is the edupark e-book. This study aims to produce a practical science edupark e-book. The type of research used is Design Research with the type of Development Studies using the Plomp model with the Preliminary Research, Development or Prototyping Phase, and Assessment Phase stages. The instrument in this study was a practicality sheet, namely a questionnaire on the responses of educators and students. The practical analysis technique of the science edupark e-book uses a Likert scale with 4 assessment categories. The e-book practicality questionnaire includes the following 4 aspects: (a) usable; (b) Easy to use (c) Appealing and; (d) Efficient. It can be concluded that the IPA edupark E-book with a scientific approach based on Padang Beach tourist destinations meets very practical criteria for all practical aspects.Keywords : E-book, Edupark, Scientific Approach, Practicality

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of  integrated STEM approach on student’s critical thinking skills in Physics and Science learning. This type of research is a meta-analysis. Meta analysis is a research conducted by summarizing, reviewing and analyzing data from several studies that have been conducted. The research sample consisted of 25 articles that already have an ISSN consisting of 13 international articles and 12 national articles. The data analysis technique used in this study was to calculate the effect size of each article. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the effect of the application of the integrated STEM approach on students' critical thinking skills can be concluded. First, the application of the integrated STEM approach based model has a siginificant effect on the Problem Based Learning model with an average effect 0,92. Second, the application application of  integrated STEM  has a significant effect on the high school level compared to the junior high school level and elementary school level with an average effect of 1,08. Third, the application application of  integrated STEM  has a significant effect on the work and force with an average effect 2,23

Abstract

The low level of creative thinking of students in Indonesia is something that must be of concern, especially for the world of education. To emphasize understanding and develop creative thinking, students need to be facilitated with tools that support learning. One of them is the module that integrates creative thinking in it. The research carried out includes the type of Research and Development, namely the development of basic electronics modules integrating creative thinking in the diode circuit material and its applications. The design model used is the ADDIE model. This study aims to determine the validity of basic electronics modules integrating creative thinking in the diode circuit material and its applications. This value is obtained from a validity test questionnaire by experts. Based on the data analysis that has been done, the average value of module validation is 83.97%. Based on this value, it can be stated that the overall module components are already in the very valid category.

Abstract

This reseach is motivated by physics learning that has not been running according to the curriculum 2013 reference. The curriculum 2013 was develop based on two factors, one of which is external challenges including environment issuess, advancement of  information technology, the rise of creative and cultural industries and development of education at the international level. An innovation is needed in the form of developing models, sources and learning media that are in line with the demands of the currculum 2013 as one simple learning resource that easily understood by student. The project based learning model as one model of the models recommended in the curriculum 2013 because it can improve student competence and creativity as well as the tracker application as an IT based learning media that can complete at  Internatinal levels. The purpose in study was produce project based learning assisted tracker application with scientific approuch on the topic of kinematics for 10th grade senior high school with effective criteria. The LKPD that was developed was effective in improving students' competencies including knowledge competencies (82,57), attitude competence (81,9), skills competence (81,8). Based on the results of the study it can be produce project based learning assisted tracker application with scientific approuch on the Topic of Kinematics For 10th Grade Senior High School with effective criteria

Abstract

The development of science and technology is increasing rapidly. Improving the quality of education needs to be done as an effort to national development in the field of human resources. The government continues to improve the national education system so that it can compete with the global world. One of them is by improving the curriculum. Currently the curriculum in effect in Indonesia is the 2013 curriculum. In the 2013 curriculum, the realms of attitudes, knowledge and skills must be balanced. Therefore, new breakthroughs are needed in the world of education, one of which is integrating Indonesian local wisdom in learning. The research used is the meta-analysis method. This is in accordance with the problems and research objectives, namely to analyze the effect size on the use of integrated teaching materials integrated with local wisdom. Based on 20 journals analyzed using meta-analysis, it is known that integrated teaching materials of local wisdom are effectively used at the high school level. In addition, integrated teaching materials for local wisdom are also effective in improving student learning outcomes, and suitable teaching materials to be developed containing local wisdom are worksheets.

Abstract

Physics learning in the 2013 curriculum aims to master the principles and concepts and be able to develop science and technology. However, the results of preliminary research, namely interviews with three teachers from three different schools, found that teachers still predominantly use the lecture method and have not used technology such as virtual laboratory experiments in learning. Several studies from journal articles show that students' conceptual understanding of optical material is still low. This study aims to design and determine the validity of cognitive conflict-based teaching materials integrating virtual laboratories in optical material. This research is a development research using the Plomp model. This research is limited to two stages of Plomp development, namely the preliminary research and the development / prototyping phase. The instruments used were interview guides, self-evaluation sheets and validation sheets. Based on the problems in the preliminary research, the design of teaching materials is based on four syntax of cognitive conflict-based learning models, namely activation of preconceptions and misconceptions, presentation of cognitive conflict, discovery of concepts and equations and reflection. The results of the self-evaluation show that the prototype design is complete and the results of the validity test on the aspects of content validity, construct validity, language validity and face validity show that the teaching materials are in the very valid category.

Abstract

Physics is a part of science that relating to natural phenomena. Physics learning must be integrated with natural phenomena material, one of which is lightning. Lightning material is integrated in physics learning using teaching material, namely e-module based on experiential learning models. E-module which is feasible to be used in learning is a valid e-module.A research aim to obtain validity of physics e-module integrated by lightning disaster material based on experiential learning. The method of this research was descriptive study. The validity of e-module can be measured using instrument in the form of a validation questionnarie. Validation component consists of the feasibility of contents, presentation feasibility, linguistic eligibility, and graphic feasibility. Validity of e-module was assessed by experts and practitioners. Based on the results of validation of experts and practitioners, physics e-module integrated by lightning disaster material based on experiential learning has been proven valid and worthy of being tested in learning.

Abstract

From the results of the meta-analysis in this study it was concluded that the model of peoblem based learning was very influential on students at the high school, vocational and junior high school levels. The effect of the lowest influence is found at the level of PT education. Overall the problem based learning model has an influence in improving students' critical thinking skills. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat khususnya di bidang pendidikan menuntut masyarakat untuk dapat memahami dan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis IT seperti e-book. E-book yang dikembangkan harus didasarkan pada potensi atau karakteristik kawasan sekitar peserta didik yaitu dengan memanfaatkan taman edukasi (edupark) sebagai sumber belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan E-book Edupark Fisika dengan Pendekatan Saintifik pada Destinasi Wisata Panorama Tabek Patah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian desain pendidikan dengan model pengembangan Plomp dalam tahapan pengembangan atau tahap pembuatan prototipe. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen praktis yang terdiri dari beberapa komponen yang berguna, mudah digunakan, menarik, dan efisien yang diberikan kepada beberapa siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase kepraktisan dengan menghasilkan e-book edupark fisika yang praktis sebagai bahan ajar fisika di SMA.
