Abstract

This research is based on the problems in SMAN 10 Padang, namely the low attention of students during the learning process takes place. One of the factors that influenced it was the use of cellphones during the learning process. Students tend to use mobile phones not only to find learning material, but also use it for personal purposes such as replying to messages or playing games. Submission of material by teachers tends to be less interesting and monotonous, to overcome students' lack of attention in learning using PowerPoint. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of using Powerpoint in increasing the learning attention of class X students at SMAN 10 Padang. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with Randomized Control-Group Posttest Only Design. The population in this study were all tenth grade students of SMAN 10 Padang. The sample in this study were class X students of SMA N 10 Padang Academic Year 2018/2019 and the samples used were students of class X MIA 2 as a control class and X MIA 3 as an experimental class. The instrument used to assess students' attention is the student learning attention assessment sheet filled in by the observer. Based on the results of the study using the t-test it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of PowerPoint in increasing student learning attention. It was proven that the average attention of the experimental class was higher than the control class.

Abstract

Misconceptions is a concept that doesn’t suitable with the concept recognized by expert. Misconceptions whom occur in students’ selves prohibit the formed of relation with new concepts and disrupt the realization of learning process. Therefore, misconceptions needs to be known by teacher and folloed up early. The aim of this research is to identify the misconception on the concepts of food digestive system material in humans which experienced by second class at SMP 15 Padang. This research is a descriptive research which conducted at SMP 15 Padang. The populations of this research are 221 students of second class. The sample is 22,5% of 221 members of populations, which is 50 members.the tacking of sampling used simple random sampling technique. The data used are primary data which taking by two tier multiple choice and analyzed through quantitative technique analysis by percentage.         Based on the results of the study, it seen that the highest misconception is the type of food ingredients and its content by 38%, digestive organs (digestive glands and glands) by 49%, the structure and function of the digestive organs by 38%, the relationship between structure and bioprocess in digestive organs by 46.75%, indicator of mechanical and chemical digestion by 50%, disorders / diseases of the digestive system by 49%, and the Thus it can be concluded that there is a misconception in Class VIII students of SMP 15 Padang about the food digestive system material in humans with varying percentages.

Abstract

The research was distributed by the low activity of learning to learners in an inclusive classroom while learning the IPA take place where student activity still centered on teachers so that students not actively in learning. This research aims to find out how big the influence of cooperative learning model type Snowball Throwing against learning activities learners in learning the IPA in the VII  inclusive classroom junior high school 23 Padang. This type of research is the Quasy alphabets experiment using Control-Group design Only. This research was carried out in class VII2 as class experiments with the number of learners 32 people (with 3 learners ABK) and VII3 class as the class of the control to the number of learners 32 people (with 2 of HER students). The instruments used in the research in the form of the now learners learning activities that contains items of the statement drawn up in accordance with a predetermined indicators. Data analysis technique used is comparing the difference of two average learners with learning activities begins conducting a test of its homogeneity and normality, so that in the end done with test t (t-test).The value of the rat experimental 92.42 class average and average value of kotrol class 70.08. Hypothesis test results data learning activities students class experiments and gained control of that class Fhitung < Ftabel then the hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is a positive influence towards learning activities learners by implementing cooperative learning model type Snowball Throwing.

Abstract

The Research problems at SMAN 2 Lubuk Sikaping are students having difficulty in formulating problems, analyzing and finding solutions to difficulties in the learning process, leadership and motivation, level of activity and student learning in the learning process is still low and learning models that are rarely used and are still centered on the teachers. Efforts that can be done are implementing the learning model course review containing science literacy at SMAN 2 Lubuk Sikaping. The purpose of this study was to study the improvement of knowledge competencies, attitudes and skills of students through a horay review course model with scientific literacy at SMAN 2 Lubuk Sikaping. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a posttest randomized design control group design. The study population was all class X SMAN 2 Lubuk Sikaping registered in the 2018/2019 school year controlling three classes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The research hypothesis evaluates using the t-test. Conclusions of the study about the application of the learning model course review horay with science literasy the learning competenci of knowledge, attitudes, skills of class X students of SMAN 2 Lubuk Sikaping

Abstract

ABSTRACT Intelligence is an ability, with its completeness process, which is capable of handling various problems. Each student has a tendency for intelligence from nine intelligences, namely Linguistic, Mathematical-Logical, Visual-Spatial, Intrapersonal, Naturalist, and Existential. This intelligence is called Multiple Intelligence. This research is a descriptive study, using a correlational study approach between multiple intelligences and student learning outcomes. To find out the relationship between variables, a correlation test was used using the Spearman-Rank correlation. The data obtained were analyzed by normality test. The results obtained in the form of population data are normally distributed. Furthermore, the data analyzed using correlation analysis with the results in the form of correlation variables that have no effect. Based on the results of the study in general it can be concluded that the intelligence of multiple intelligence has a significantly different relationship to learning outcomes. Although with a significantly different level of correlation, but multiple intelligence still has a relationship with learning outcomes, the point is that if the correlation coefficient increases, the learning outcomes of students will be more dominant. The coefficient of determination is 24.85% and 7.99% shows that learning outcomes in science subjects in class VIII 4 and class VIII 5 are influenced by multiple intelligences. Keywords: multiple intelligence, cognitive learning outcomes

Abstract

Research on the problems that exist in Padang 15 Public Middle School, student learning competencies are still low. The effort that can be done is to apply the cooperative learning model with the speaking stick type with literacy content of SMP 18 Padang. The purpose of this study was to study student learning through a cooperative model of speaking stick type with literacy at SMP 15 Padang. This type of research is experimental research with randomized posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP 15 Padang registered in 2018/2019. Sampling was done using the Simple purposive Sampling technique, which was chosen as the research sample was class VIII.3 as the experimental class and VIII.2 as the control class. The instrument used consisted of posttest questions for knowledge competencies, observation sheets for competencies and skills. The assessment hypothesis using the t-test, can prove the knowledge competency  tcount 2.27> ttable 1.67, competency assessment value 80% with good categories and competency skills value tcount 3.5> ttable 1.67). This is an accepted hypothesis. It was concluded that the cooperative model of speaking stick type with literacy opposed the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class VIII students of SMP 15 Padang.
