Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of School Environment toward Civic Education Learning Result of Students at SMK Paku, Binuang Sub-district. The sample subject/ object of this study were 55 students. This study employed influence research (causal). Technique of collecting data was gathered by the results of documentation and by giving questionnaires to the respondents. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis method and inferential analysis method. The results of descriptive analysis method illustrated that the influence of the school environment obtained an average score was 34.37, which is the medium category, and learning result of Civic Education obtained the average value was 82.37 at the high category. Moreover, the results of inferential analysis method suggested that there was an influence of the school environment toward Civic Education learning result for the students at SMK Paku, Binuang Sub-district.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to develop learning tools are valid, practical and effective to use the type cooperative model of student teams achievement divisions (STAD) with a scientific approach to the subject of linear equations in one variable class VII SMP Negeri 1 Polewali. The results of this study indicate the development of learning tools using model 4-D, Irish learning developed first validated by two experts before conducting two trials, the test device is first learning to do in SMP Negeri 2 Polewali followed by 25 students, and did repair device after the first trial consulted validator, devices produced in tested again in a different school in SMP Negeri 1 Polewali called second trial which was followed by 25 students. Devices in the tested reversible and consult validator to produce learning tools are valid, the learning device performing well at the time of trial, and achievement test has tercapi classical completeness, student activities are consistent with the expected students to give a positive response of the device so that the power of learning is said to be practical and effective. The resulting devices distributed or disseminated on a limited basis through a consultative meeting Subject Teachers (MGMPs) Mathematics Polewali Mandar.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the increasing ability on the learning process and results to analyze the intrinsic elements of a short story by the model Inside Outside Circle IPA2 class XI student of SMAN 1 Polewali Polewali Mandar. This type of research is a classroom action research. This research data is data learning process and learning outcome data. The data source of this research is the teachers and students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Polewali IPA2 Polewali Mandar with the number of 29 people. The technique used to collect the data, namely: observation, testing, and documentation. Data were analyzed research process with a qualitative descriptive technique while learning outcome data were analyzed by using quantitative descriptive. The learning process to analyze the intrinsic elements of the first cycle has not yet reached the target set research and the classroom atmosphere less conducive. Second cycle learning process more effective and have reached the target after repairs to problems in cycle I. In the second cycle shows that the general conditions have been conducive learning and students' interest in learning to follow analyze the intrinsic elements of a short story by Inside Outside Circle models is quite large. The results of this study indicate that learning to analyze the intrinsic elements of short stories has increased both in the learning process and learning outcomes. The test results of learning to analyze the intrinsic elements of a short story by Inside Outside Circle models increased. In the first cycle of 58.6% of students received grades ≥75 with an average value of 72.7 and the test cycle II of 79.3% of students received grades ≥75 with an average value of 81.9. The results of the first cycle test that is still less than the target of research that students who scored above learning outcomes 75 to ≥75% can be increased in the second cycle students who received grades ≥75 increased by 20.7% of students

Abstract

This study is Classroom Action Research design and conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Campalagian which aims to describe the ability of writing drama script IXF grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Campalagian through brain-based learning. The subjects were pessrta IXF grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Campalagian the school year 2015/2016 as many as 28 (16 male and 12 female) students. Data collection techniques used is the calculation of the average value of learners from the initial value, the first cycle and the second cycle. Results obtained on the average value of early learners ie 64 or by 17.92%, based on preliminary analysis that shows that the ability of learners the ability to write plays that are in the low category. The first cycle that learners are categorized finished with an average value of 67.64, learners who completed as many as 11 people or 39.28%, and the second cycle students who are categorized finished with an average value of 84.85, learners were completed by 28 or by 100%. This shows that an increasing ability to write drama script on IXF grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Campalagian during the learning process by using brain-based learning.

Abstract

Objective of the study To know immediate cosntituent of English, To know the immedaite constituent of Indonesian. the writer used a descriptive method. This method was used by the reason that the discussion of immediate constituent in English and Indonesian was to represent description about the natural of the facts. Population on serve the all members of research object as the persons, things, animal, etc. With regard to the topic of this study, the population of this study were clauses in English and Indonesian. Sample is part of population. To fulfill the intention of this study, the sample were determined to the simple English and Indonesian clauses which consist of 50 clauses in English and 50 clauses in Indonesian. To collect the data required in this research, the writer used written utterance. The utterance were ib the forms of clauses of English and Indonesian, that have equivalence and standar language.The data being collected were analyzed by using immediate constituent to fulfill the study intent ions as previously mentioned. A box of immediate constituent was used to observer the immediate. Immediate constituent in English, that the first cut is divided into two parts: noun phrase as predicate. Then noun phrase can be formed by pronoun, determiner plus noun. Verb phrase can be formed by verb, modal auxialary plus verb. Immediate constituent in Indonesia, that the first cut is divided into two parts; noun phrase plus verb phrase. Beside, there are other forms of clause, noun phrase plus noun phrase, noun phrase plus adjective phrase. Noun phrase in Indonesia can be formed by pronoun, noun plus noun, or noun plus particle. Verb phrase can be formed by verb, or adverb plus verb

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of Kodama props in the process of doing Mathematics exercises material The equation of straight line conducted in SMPN 5 Wonomulyo VIII classroom learners by looking at the learning outcomes, activities and responses of learners. This type of research is a quasi experimental research involving 2 different groups but has a homogeneous ability. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 5 Wonomulyo which amounted to 177 people. The sample of this research is the students of class VIII C as the experimental class and class VIII D as the control class. Data collection is done through tests, observation sheets and response questionnaires. The data of the research were analyzed by descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The result of the research based on descriptive analysis in the experimental class obtained an average value of 79,86 > KKM or 80% classical completeness, reaching 82,76%. Based on the inferential analysis, the ost test value is obtained with the degree of freedom 58 hence obtained at 1,67. Because it is larger than it is rejected and accepted, it means at a 95% confidence level statement that the average value of the experimental class is higher than the average value of the control class is acceptable. It can be seen that the value of post test experimental class completeness is 82,759 % or 24 students from 29 students over KKM. Based on the analysis of the instrument nontes obtained activity learners experimental group meets the criteria of effectiveness of reaching 57,59% and the response of learners are in the positive category with an average value of 78,28%. It can be concluded that Kodama props can improve learning outcomes of students of class VIII SMPN 5 Wonomulyo and able to make learners spirit in doing Mathematics.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out the students’ attitude toward the use of interactive classroom activities in developing the communicative competence. The researchers used descriptive method with a questionnaire to obtain data. The variable of the research was independent variable referring to the use of interactive classroom activities and dependent variable was the students’ attitude. The population of this research was the eleventh grade students of the SMA Kriten Barana’ Academic year 2017/2018, which consists of 50 students since the population of this research, used random sampling. The data obtained from the questionnaire tabulated and analyzed using percentage technique. It is provided by the students’ option on all items of the questionnaire where the number of students who strongly agree and agree is greater than those disagree and strong disagree. in this research the eleventh grade students of SMA Krenten Barana’ have positive attitude towards the use of interactive classroom activities in developing their communicative competence.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the errors of speech (speech errors) were included in the study psycholinguistics. In this thesis analyzed the object of speech is a mistake made by the two main characters in the film Bad Boys (the movie): Mike Lowrey, played by Will Smith and Marcus Burnett, played by Martin Lawrence. This analysis focused on speech that are common mistakes (common types of speech errors), the silent pause, filled pause, repeats, retraced false starts, false starts un-retraced, corrections, interjection. The objectives of this research are to find out the types of speech errors and the dominant types of speech errors are made by the main actors in Bad Boys I the movie. In doing this research, the writer used qualitative descriptive method. The population of this research is the original movie transcript. This research employs purposive sampling, the writer only took the main actors of this movie as samples. The most dominant types of speech errors made by Mike and Marcus is Silent Pause. From all the data analysis, the writer concludes that both of actors made many errors in their dialogues, although the actors act and speak based on the script but in the process of acting we realize that the “ideal delivery” is very difficult. The characters in movies sometimes make speech errors in their dialogues intentionally or unintentionally.

Abstract

Educational research in this thesis aims to obtain objective information about the state of completeness of learning facilities at SMAN 2 Polewali and to determine whether there is a correlation completeness learning facility to the learning outcomes in SMA 2 Polewali. This research is a quantitative research using descriptive analysis. The study population was all students in SMA 2 Polewali class X, XI, and XII SMA totaling 91 people. While the samples are all students at SMA 2 Polewali by using the system pegambilan sample of census system. Collecting data in this study conducted by (1) Questionnaire, (2) observation, (3) Interview. The data were analyzed descriptively. Then after that the results of a questionnaire about the completeness facilities Civics learning and learning outcomes of students, and then to determine the correlation learning outcomes completeness to facilities of students at SMA 2 Polewali, the data were analyzed using product moment correlation coefficient. This is to determine the level of correlation between the two variables. From the calculation of correlation figures of 53.10, then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and nil hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Means there is a correlation / significant influence between the variables X and Y. Therefore, this suggests that there is a relationship / high impact among the variables of learning facilities with variable outcomes study in SMA 2 Polewali.

Abstract

The Study aimed at developing learning package on the operation of addition and subtraction of integers subject material using cooperative learning based on Dienes theory. The learning package developed consisted of student’s book, student’s workbook, and the lesson plan. This study was a developmental research. The intended product of the study was cooperative learning package based on Dienes theory which fulfilled the criteria of valid, practical, and effective. The product consisted of four components, namely student’s book, student’s workbook, and lesson plan. Considering the time efficiency, the product was conducted in limited test and simulation; in other words, when developing the learning package, the instument related to the product was developed as well. The process of development of the learning package used 4-D which consisted of four phases (1) the defining, phase, which conducted a) pre-post analysis, b) student analysis, c) concept analysis, d) task analysis, e) specification of learning objective; (2) design phase, which conducted a) test arrangement, b) foemat selection, c) pre-desing of learning package (prototype), d) media selection; (3) development phase, which conducted a) experts interpretation, b) prototype tryout; (4) dissemination phase, which conducted limited socialization and dissemination of the learning package to obtain suggestion from teachers at Mathematics MGMP. The tryout was conducted once in grade IV SDN 066 Pekkabata. The result of the learning package obtained (1) the lesson plan and student’s workbook were in the category of extremely valid based on the evaluation of the experts, except the student’s book was in valid category, (2) practical because the result of learning management observation dane by the observer confirmed that the learning package was conducted well at the tryout, and (3) effective because it has fulfilled three criteria of effectiveness, which consisted of the classical mastery was achieved, students’ activeties have met the expectation, ind students dave positive response on the learning package and the implementation of learning activities
