Abstract

This study aims at know the comparison of Basic Education Indonesia and Japan by using five indicators, namely the objectives of Education, education management, education budget, education personnel and salaries, and the process of evaluation of learning. The method used in this research is the study of literature with a qualitative descriptive approach to see the comparison of basic education in Indonesia and Japan, the study of literature using a qualitative descriptive approach is to gather a number of references relevant to the topic of this study. The reference is taken from national journals and international journals which are then reviewed according to the needs in this study. The results of the study shows that the comparison of Basic Education Indonesia can be seen from four aspects, namely This is due to several indicators, namely (1) differences in education objectives, (2) education management; (3) Japan Education budget; (4) his education and salary; and (5) learning processes and evaluations. This study only emphasizes on five indicators of Basic Education of Indonesia and Japan. there are gaps that can be filled by subsequent research, namely curriculum, political system, character education, and so forth. This research should contribute to the policy makers of the Indonesian Education system in order to apply the five indicators of Japanese basic education to the Indonesian basic education system.

Abstract

WHO (2000), recommends umbilical cord care based on aseptic and dry principles and no longer recommended to use alcohol but with open care. The umbilical cord should also not be tightly closed with anything, because it will make it moist. In addition to slowing the release of the umbilical cord, it also poses a risk of infection. Even if you have to close. according to Taylor (2003, dalam Nopriyarti, 2013) cover or tie loosely at the top of the umbilical cord with sterile gauze. The research used quasi-experimental research. The design of this study used the Experimental Design- Equivalent Time Sample method, which is a quasi-experimental design by treating the experimental group (X1), namely taking a warm bath and the control group (X0), which was wiped with a wet towel, alternately with random determination (Suharsaputra, 2012). The mandatory output in this research is publishing international journals, while the additional output is publishing national journals it can be seen that the average length of umbilical cord detachment of infants who were bathed in warm water (experimental group) was 110.8 hours, while the average length of time to release the umbilical cord of infants who were wiped with a wet towel (control group) was 76.9 hours or 6.6 days. The average difference between the two groups is 24,72 hours. The results of the statistical test obtained a P-value (<0.001), meaning that at alpha 5% there was a significant difference in the average length of umbilical cord detachment between babies who were wiped with a wet towel, which was 2.01 days and babies who were bathed in warm water, which was 4,01 day. So that the treatment of babies who are wiped with a wet towel is more effective and the umbilical cord is removed faster than the care of babies who are bathed in warm water. There was a significant difference between the In umbilical cord care, there was a significant difference in the average length of umbilical cord detachment between babies who were wiped with a wet towel and babies who were bathed in warm water.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in mathematical reasoning abilities of junior high school students using a constructivism approach assisted by animated videos on the comparison material of class VII MTsS Jabal Nur. The approach used in this research is a quantitative research approach with a quasi-experimental type of approach. The population in this study were all students of class VII consisting of 10 classes and the sample used was class VII-5 as the experimental class as many as 25 students and class VII-6 as the control class as many as 26 students. The experimental class students were taught using a constructivism approach assisted by animated videos, while the control class was taught using a scientific approach. The data was collected by giving a pretest-posttest and the data were analyzed using the t-test and obtained a result of 0.00. In accordance with the test criteria, the value in the sig column < 0.05 then is rejected. From the statistical significance of the t-test is 0.00 less than 0.05. Then is rejected, H_a is accepted. The results of the analysis of student responses to constructivism approach learning assisted by animated videos show that the overall average is in the very good category. This shows students that using a constructivism approach assisted by animated videos gets a positive response from students. The learning process using this approach can improve students ˜abilities in learning mathematics and can increase students desire to learn and student activity.

Abstract

This study aimed to determined the feasibility of the Make a Match-Based Flashcard learning media on colloidal material. The subjects of this study were the students of the State Senior High School 1 Muara Batu and the Private High School Jabalnur as many as 25 students. This study refers to the type of Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model. This research was carried out until the limited trial stage. The stages carried out in this research are Define, Design, Develop. In the Define stage, concept analysis is carried out, at the design stage, the design of learning media to be developed is carried out, at the Develop stage the development of Make a Match-Based Flashcard media is carried out and limited trials on research subjects. The results showed that the Make a Match-Based Flashcard media was valid with a media validity percentage of 88% (very good), and material validity of 85% (very good). The results of data analysis showed the feasibility with a percentage value of 92.30% (very feasible). Based on the results of the study conducted, it can be concluded that the Make a Match-Based Flashcard media is very suitable to be used as a learning medium on colloidal material.
