Abstract

The tourism sector is an industry that is able to contribute to improving the economy and public welfare, and has even defeated the oil and coal sectors which have been the leading sectors. Digital services in the tourism sector have been developed by several regional governments, both in the form of mobile applications and websites for the promotion and marketing of tourist destinations, as well as various tourism information services, such as infrastructure, accommodation, cultural activities, locations, and so on. Malang Regency Tourism Intelligence Center (MATIC) is one of the digital public services in the tourism sector developed by the Malang Regency Government. MATIC is a big data and intelligence-based tourism service application that manages and analyzes tourism data comprehensively, which is developed into a one-stop application for tourism and creative economy information. Public service software is an Electronic-Based Command System (SPBE) which has the function of disseminating and providing public services, so it should have good and reliable performance in order to provide the best service to the public as application users. This study aims to support the implementation of MATIC by ensuring the reliability or provision of applications through software testing with tourism tour metaphor exploration testing techniques. The study presents exploration testing steps starting from the test preparation stage, test implementation, and test results that show the findings of 22 deficiencies or defects. The level of defects found were 14 low errors, 5 medium errors, and 3 high errors. Defects were found from three variations of tourism tour metaphor testing techniques, namely money tours, supporting actor tours, and supermodel tours.

Abstract

This study focuses on optimizing the Wi-Fi network coverage area at SMK Negeri 1 Tegalalang through mapping and analysis using the NetSpot application. Stable and evenly distributed internet connectivity is essential to support digital-based learning activities in schools. Preliminary observations revealed several blank spots and uneven signal distribution across classrooms and buildings, indicating the need for improvement in network infrastructure. The research employed an action research approach consisting of four stages: diagnosing, action planning, action taking, and evaluating. Data collection was conducted using both active and passive site surveys, measuring the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), and generating heatmap visualizations to illustrate signal distribution. The analysis emphasized three main aspects: wall attenuation factors, access point positioning, and potential channel interference that contributed to performance degradation. The findings provide a comprehensive signal coverage map along with recommendations for more strategic placement of access points. These recommendations resulted in improved coverage with a minimum RSSI target of –65 dBm and a service area of at least 80%. The outcomes of this study are expected to serve as a valuable reference for schools in designing and enhancing Wi-Fi infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity that supports the implementation of online and blended learning effectively.

Abstract

A warehouse management system is a database-based computer program designed to improve the efficiency of warehouse performance and to make it easier to manage the storage of goods. XYZ Store Tangerang branch is a retail business that implements an application-based warehousing management system called AIMS. Measuring the success of application implementation is necessary to see the influence of system quality, information quality, and service quality on use, user satisfaction, and net benefits. Success measurement is carried out to improve the quality and impact received from the application. This research is located in Tangerang and will be carried out in April – June 2024. Descriptive analysis and SEM PLS analysis were used to process primary research data through questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents. The results showed that system quality and service quality affected net benefits but did not affect user use and satisfaction. Meanwhile, the quality of information affects user use and satisfaction but does not affect the net benefits.

Abstract

The development of this application aims to solve problems related to the management of cleanliness in buildings at PT.Carefast which includes setting routine schedules, attendance, employee assignments, damage warnings, and task monitoring at PT.Carefast to facilitate performance in carrying out cleaning activities. This application will have various important features that will be very helpful starting from making task schedules for office boys, daily attendance, making absence reports, employee changes, making damage complaint reports, repair assignments, termination of employment, checking leave balances and submitting leave. For the development itself, using the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) flow based on agile SCRUM which regulates software creation so that it can be effective in increasing the visibility of application development progress, simple stages but supports all existing needs, especially in developing applications that use microservice architecture. This development uses business process analysis methods and adjusts the needs of PT.Carefast. with the existence of a web application it will be very easy for employees to carry out routine cleaning service activities with the potential for large-scale management, the conclusion of this application development is that the creation of a web-based application that is implemented has a positive impact in facilitating the tasks of cleaning service companies in carrying out their duties. As a building with high operational standards, the Millennium Centennial Center requires an efficient, integrated, and optimized cleaning management system capable of monitoring cleaning activities quickly and accurately. The current system is unable to optimally address these challenges. The need for web-based technology to manage the building's cleaning management is highly relevant and urgent. This system is expected to simplify task distribution, monitor staff performance directly, accelerate communication, and provide more accurate and comprehensive performance reports.

Abstract

This study aims to develop 2D animation as a child-friendly digital literacy learning medium in the Society 5.0 era, focusing on three main aspects, namely internet safety, digital ethics, and digital creativity. The media development was carried out using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model through six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution, which were implemented using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro software. The evaluation was conducted using a qualitative approach through interviews with 46 respondents consisting of teachers and students in Batam City to assess the visual and audio quality, clarity of material, relevance of content, and effectiveness of animation in supporting digital literacy understanding. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents rated the quality of the images, characters, and sound as very good and attractive, the presentation of the material was easy to understand, and the information conveyed was accurate and reliable. In addition, 2D animation was considered capable of increasing knowledge about the safe, ethical, and creative use of digital technology, while also attracting children's interest in learning. These findings indicate that 2D animation has strong potential as a child-friendly digital literacy learning medium that is relevant to the context of Society 5.0, and can be used as a model for the development of similar media at other levels and in other educational environments.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country with very high biodiversity, one of which is reflected in the many bird species spread across various regions. The high public interest in birds presents challenges, in the form of increased bird trade practices, especially protected species. The main obstacle often faced by the public is the lack of information regarding the identification of protected bird species. Therefore, an application that can identify protected birds is needed. This study developed a web-based application using the Transfer learning approach in the classification of bird species in Indonesia. Five machine learning models were compared in this study: CNN, MobileNetV3Small, MobileNetV3Large, VGG16, and InceptionV4. The birds-525-species-image-classification dataset was used in the training process, then filtered to 54 bird species found in Indonesia. Model performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The developed web application uses React as the frontend and FastAPI as the backend and provides image upload and camera capture features to detect bird species directly. Test results show that MobileNetV3Large provides the most optimal performance and was selected for implementation in the system. In system testing through Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT), System Usability Scale (SUS), and Net Promoter Score (NPS), it was shown that the application built had a good level of acceptance and ease of use
