Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, but the number of Qur'an memorizers in Indonesia is still relatively small. One of the main obstacles faced is the lack of motivation in memorizing the Qur'an. One approach that can help increase motivation in memorizing is an approach through application media, considering the use of gadgets in Indonesia continues to increase, the application media approach is a potential solution. Through the application, the memorization process can become more interactive by utilizing surprising and delightful techniques. This research is limited to Al-Qur'an Juz 30 which is the final part of the Al-Qur'an. In addition to building the Qur'an memorization application, this research also analyzes the effect of the iOS based Juz 30 Qur'an memorization application on user motivation using the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) model. The measurement results show that there is an influence between the Al-Qur'an memorization application and user motivation in memorizing. The Al-Qur'an memorization application has an influence of 26.2% on user motivation, while 73.8% of memorization motivation is influenced by other factors outside the study. Thus, it can be concluded that the Al-Qur'an memorization application has an influence on user motivation in memorizing, but there are still other factors that also affect this motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to overcome the problems associated with the attendance system used by PT X. Currently, the attendance system uses RFID technology which has several problems, such as USB cables that are often loose, problems with internet connections, and the vulnerability of the system to fraud. Therefore, it is necessary to update the existing attendance system. The proposed solution is the development of an Android-based attendance application that uses Quick Response Code (QR Code) technology and geolocation. QR Code is a 2-dimensional bar code that has a larger data storage capacity compared to barcodes. Geolocation is used to limit the area of use of the attendance feature which can only submit attendance if the user is in the PT X area. This research consists of 2 stages, namely the application development stage and the application implementation analysis stage. The application development stage uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method by implementing a prototype model. In the analysis stage, this research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The analysis was conducted using the USE Questionnaire model. The results of the usability analysis of the internship attendance application get a score of 87.74% so that based on the USE rating the application is categorized as very feasible.

Abstract

Abstract

Optimal access point (AP) placement is essential to ensure uniform and high-quality WiFi signal coverage, particularly in government institutions such as the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports (DISDIKPORA) of Buleleng Regency. This study aims to analyze and compare the effectiveness of Ekahau AI Pro and NetSpot applications in optimizing AP placement. The research methodology integrates Comparative Analysis, Action Research, and Benchmarking, following a structured process consisting of diagnosis, action planning, action taking, evaluation, and learning. Measurements were conducted through active and passive surveys, with cross-validation performed using WiFi Analyzer as a reference tool. Data were collected based on key parameters: Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), blank spot detection, result consistency, and time efficiency. The results indicate that both applications accurately detected all blank spots. However, Ekahau AI Pro demonstrated higher consistency, with only a 1.5 dBm deviation, making it well-suited for long-term planning in complex building environments, despite requiring more time and higher costs. In contrast, NetSpot delivered sufficiently accurate results with an average difference of 6.75 dBm and significantly faster execution time, making it ideal for rapid network audits under limited budgets. Based on the findings, Ekahau AI Pro is recommended for complex environments demanding high accuracy, while NetSpot is more appropriate for fast, dynamic, and cost-effective assessments. This study provides technical recommendations for WiFi network optimization at DISDIKPORA and offers strategic guidance for selecting suitable network mapping tools in similar organizations.

Abstract

This study analyzes user satisfaction with the attendance system of the e‑Ganesha application using the PIECES framework. The research adopts a quantitative descriptive design, collecting data through a Likert scale questionnaire administered to 170 respondents (85 employees and 85 lecturers) at Undiksha, complemented by open-ended questions to capture richer user feedback. Instrument validity was tested using the Pearson Product Moment correlation (all items met r-hitung > r-tabel), and reliability with Cronbach’s Alpha (α = 0.973), indicating excellent internal consistency. Using the Kaplan and Norton classification, overall satisfaction falls in the “satisfied” category. For employees, the highest mean scores are Information and Control & Security (4.49), while the lowest is Economy (4.29); for lecturers, Information is highest (4.62) and Economy is lowest (4.42). Qualitative responses highlight several areas for improvement: slower system speed during peak hours, error messages that are not sufficiently informative, inefficient leave request and approval flows, and limited administrative controls that may allow misuse. The PIECES analysis identifies strengths in informative outputs and data protection, with weaknesses in performance variability and process efficiency; opportunities include workflow automation and monitoring; threats involve declining user trust if friction persists. Recommendations synthesized via SWOT prioritize performance optimization, usability enhancements, streamlined processes, and governance controls. These findings provide actionable guidance for iterative improvements to e‑Ganesha’s attendance module and contribute to the broader literature on satisfaction evaluation in institutional information systems.
