Abstract

Learning media is an essential factor in the success of learning activities in education. The delivery of computer equipment introduction material at SDN 02 Pisangan still uses PPT material and traditional learning methods using books and blackboards. This method is considered less than optimal in delivering material and creates a tendency to get bored when students read the material. Learning media should be able to keep up with existing technological developments. Animation can be an example of developing conventional learning media. Therefore, this study aims to make a 2-dimensional animated video in which there is an introduction to computer devices such as mice, keyboards, and monitors for elementary school students. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a design thinking model consisting of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, testing, and implement stages. Meanwhile, the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method is used at the prototyping stage. At the testing stage, using a questionnaire calculated with a Likert scale and interviews, the results obtained strongly agreed that animated videos in applications can help ICT learning.

Abstract

  Abstract -Analyze and compare Quality of Service (QoS) service quality from internet networks using the PPPoE, PPTP, and L2TP methods in the Implementation of RT/RW Net Hotspots. This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the advantages and disadvantages of each method and comparing their performance in the context of RT/RW Net Hotspots. The PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet), PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol), and L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol) methods are three commonly used methods for managing internet access on Hotspot networks. The analysis was carried out by comparing the QoS parameters, this method obtained Package Loss with the L2TP method with a QoS index value of 0% in the Very Good category. For the average Delay method of 11 ms in the Very Good category, for the Jitter value of the PPPoE method the value of 1 ms is of good value, while for the Trounghput value of the four methods the best value is the PPPoE Server method with an average value of 930 Mbps with the Very Good category . PPPoE as a protocol that has a good level of security and data transfer in testing. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding and help decision-making in choosing the performance of the PPPoE, PPTP, and L2TP methods in the context of implementing RT/RW Net Hotspots.

Abstract

Money Changer is a business that operates in the foreign exchange market. Where one type of trade or transaction is buying and selling foreign currency. There are several problems with Dolarindo Money Changer, namely the currency exchange transaction system is still done manually so it takes quite a long time for Tellers or customers to find out information on the amount of foreign currency available, and also to find out the latest information about selling prices and buying prices for foreign currency. Customers and Tellers need media that can provide the information they need quickly and accurately. Data management that is still manual also results in a lot of data being lost and takes quite a long time to create reports. The aim of this research is to design a website-based money changer application that is able to meet company and customer needs. The currency exchange application on Dolarindo Money Changer is expected to be able to meet needs and be a solution to existing problems. This application was designed using the waterfall method by carrying out the stages in the waterfall method, namely design and analysis, system and program design, implementation, integration and testing, and finally maintenance. The application that has been designed can record and check foreign currency or foreign exchange stocks quickly and accurately. The existence of this website-based currency exchange application makes it easier and improves Teller performance in managing customer data, managing foreign exchange data, managing foreign exchange request data, and also creating foreign exchange reports.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to utilize User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to measure the user experience of learning management system. 201 respondents were involved as UEQ respondents with diverse backgrounds as system users. In this research, My BSI Elearning System (MYBEST) is used as the research object. MYBEST has various features for the process of teaching and learning activities starting from the attendance process, discussion, provision of learning materials both in the form of modules and video links, submitting assignments, conducting quizzes and monitoring attendance at previous meetings. This research will provide benefits for UX practitioners, educators and developers of online learning management systems. The findings in this research are also expected to provide benefits for all scope of actors in the world of education who implement computer-based teaching and learning activities. The results of MYBEST user experience evaluation using UEQ can be seen from the calculated aspects such as Attractiveness, Pragmatic Quality and Hedonic Quality. The resulting MYBEST UX evaluation value is quite satisfactory, where of the six scales observed, three of them got above average results, and the other three got good results. In this study, it was found that the pragmatic aspect of UEQ has a more dominant value than the hedonic aspect.

Abstract

Manajemen sistem secara manual terbukti menjadi tugas yang melelahkan dan tidak efisien di era teknologi yang terus berkembang. Tugas-tugas administratif seperti pembaruan sistem, pembaruan perangkat lunak, pengaturan konfigurasi semua dilakukan dengan tenaga manusia. Tugas tersebut menghabiskan waktu jika dilakukan secara berulang-ulang dan menghabiskan tenaga. Selain itu, manajemen sistem secara manual juga rentan terhadap kesalahan manusia dimana setiap perubahan dalam sistem harus dilakukan secara konsisten dan terdokumentasi. Dalam hal ini Laboratorium Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer masih mengadopsi cara tersebut. Laboratorium JTIK pada umumnya digunakan untuk keperluan praktikum dan pembelajaran mahasiswa. Untuk menjaga kualitas dari pembelajaran dalam laboratorium, dibutuhkan sebuah sistem pendukung yang dapat melakukan otomatisasi pada tugas tersebut. Sistem Configuration Management yang dibangun akan menggunakan Ansible dan Telegram untuk automasi laboratorium komputer di JTIK. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan beberapa metode konfigurasi otomatis dengan Ansible memberikan waktu yang lebih singkat dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas secara efisien dibandingkan metode konfigurasi manual. Metode konfigurasi otomatis lebih efisien dalam penggunaan sumber daya CPU dengan rata-rata 6,25% dibandingkan konfigurasi manual dengan rata-rata 15,67%. Namun, konfigurasi manual lebih efisien dalam penggunaan sumber daya memory dengan rata-rata ketersediaan memory konfigurasi manual sebesar 3522 MB, sedangkan konfigurasi otomatis sebesar 3478 MB. Dalam keseluruhan hasil, implementasi CM dengan Ansible dan Telegram berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas dalam pengelolaan laboratorium komputer di JTIK.

Abstract

The frequent occurrence of traffic violations is a loss for companies providing heavy equipment. This is often experienced by operators while working due to difficulties in controlling heavy equipment, the main cause being that procedures for selecting new heavy equipment operators have not been complied with. There is a need for an approach so that accepted operators can work well in operating heavy equipment and are less likely to get involved in problems when operating heavy equipment and reduce several risks of violations occurring. In solving many selection problems, such as the case that occurred, the decision support method is applied by combining 2 selection criteria approaches carried out by experts so that they can regulate the level of opinion consideration and evaluation objectively in selecting heavy equipment operators. In several writings, the value of the criteria is very dependent on the level of confidence of the experts, so that the Entropy method approach is considered to be able to calculate the weight of the criteria with accurate and objective results. The TOPSIS method is projected to select the operator that causes the least number of traffic violations by obtaining a final ranking of alternatives. The contribution of this research shows that combining these methods has an impact on operator ratings as well as reducing subjective impacts. The results obtained show that alternative A5 is ranked 1st which is recommended for acceptance due to consideration of the calculation approach process based on criteria.

Abstract

The CRM mobile application at PT XYZ is designed as an application that can make it easier for users to monitor their heavy equipment in order to obtain information and assist customer business operations. The purpose of this study is to determine the success rate of mobile applications and which variables most influence user satisfaction. This study empirically examines the success of mobile applications using the DeLone and McLean information system success model by analyzing information system success consisting of elements of information quality, system quality, service quality, usage, user satisfaction, and net benefits. Data collection is carried out by providing questionnaires via Google Form to customers who use mobile applications. This research method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least squares (PLS) approach and SmartPLS 4.0 software to analyze the data. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that of the 8 hypotheses, there are 4 proven acceptable, namely the variable information quality on user satisfaction, system quality on usage, service quality on user satisfaction, and user satisfaction on net benefits.

Abstract

Pelawad is one of the villages that already has a library called "Perpustakaan Desa Pelawad Pintar," but it has not been well managed. With the advancement of digital technology, it encourages people to work more effectively and efficiently. Pelawad Village Library still relies on manual methods to manage its data. This issue affects the effectiveness of library data management, including book data, borrowing records, return records, visitor or member data, and generating reports. By utilizing a web-based information system, the management of book data, member data, and library borrowing transactions can be more effective and efficient. This research aims to design a web-based information system using PHP programming language and MySQL database. The system development method employed is Extreme Programming (XP), black box testing dan user acceptance testing method is used for testing. The information system includes statistics with graphical information, the most read book titles, book categories that are frequently read, and members who borrow books the most. The test results user acceptance testing obtained a good score with a total score of 77.6%, a design category score of 78.6%, an efficient category score of 76% and a function category score of 76%.

Abstract

Oil palm cultivation is one of the main agricultural commodities in Indonesia, as oil palm plants have a relatively high economic value. However, oil palm cultivation is vulnerable to disease attacks that can threaten productivity. The lack of knowledge among farmers in managing plantations and addressing these problems can exacerbate damage to plants due to disease attacks. To address this issue, this research will develop an application using a Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) approach to diagnose diseases in oil palm plants with the nearest neighbor calculation algorithm. CBR will solve new problems by reusing knowledge to solve old problems that are similar and already have solutions. The nearest neighbor algorithm is useful for calculating similarity between new cases and old cases. The data for the research involves 7 types of diseases, 20 symptoms, and 345 cases of disease attacks on oil palm plants. The application testing uses 25 test cases and 320 case bases. From the test results, the application shows an accuracy rate of 31.00, with the highest similarity value reaching 0.98. In this research, it can be seen that the generated similarity values are high but the accuracy value is low. This can be caused by several factors, such as the data of the cases, feature representation, and insufficient diagnosis, which result in high similarity values due to the assignment of values to attribute categories and attribute value proximity.

Abstract

Tanjung Api - Api Port is a sea crossing port located in Banyuasin Regency, approximately 68 km from Palembang City, South Sumatra. This port connects South Sumatra Province with Bangka Belitung Province, specifically Tanjung Kalian Port in Bangka.The important role of ships as water transportation is of course an impact on the number of ship passengers which increases on certain days. Therefore, ports must be ready to deal with a buildup of passengers at the port. Based on this, researchers carried out passenger surge analysis using the Naive Bayes and Decision Tree methods using the Rapid Miner application. A comparison of the Naïve Bayes and Decision Tree methods is expected to be able to predict the size of the passenger surge on certain days in order to prepare the ship fleet according to needs.
