Abstract

The values of Pancasila were introduced as the living values of the community, nation, and state since Pancasila was laid as the foundation of the state and the nation's outlook on life. From the axiological aspect, the values of Pancasila have existed for hundreds of years. These values are then documented in the form of a formula called Pancasila. In the aspect of social, national, and state life, the values of Pancasila began to be institutionalized formally with general standards and criteria by a government policy known as the Pedoman Penghayatan dan Pengamalan Pancasila (P4) containing the guidelines for living and practicing Pancasila values in the 1978s. The implementation of the policy resulted in the formulation of criteria and general standards of Pancasila values known as points of Pancasila. In the period, there were 36 points of Pancasila formulated. Those points of Pancasila are the foundation and guideline in shaping the characters of the citizens, state administrators, and the youth. Ironically, these criteria and standards were abolished in the 1999 reform period. This study will reformulate the institutionalization of Pancasila values for strengthening the national character through standardization of materials and methods of fostering Pancasila ideology in informal education (in family and community). This study was conducted in 2020 through literature studies, focus group discussions with communities, families, and family education experts. The result of this study shows that the institutionalization of Pancasila values in the community and families can be implemented through 8 functions of structural and non-structural families in form of socialization, cultural art media, and innovative methods.

Abstract

To realize the Pancasila Student Profile, the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology issued one of the Independent Learning Program policies, namely the "Sekolah Penggerak". "Sekolah Penggerak" is implemented by strengthening the capacity roles of principals and driving teachers. The principal is a learning leader in each academic unit who is expected to move the school by collaborating with stakeholders to realize a student-centred school. "Guru Penggerak" are learning leaders who apply independent learning and move the entire educational ecosystem to realize learner-centred education. Becoming a learning leader as a "Sekolah Penggerak" Principal or "Guru Penggerak" requires a new paradigm shift. There is one Javanese local wisdom that can be actualized as a leadership model, namely Astha  Brata . This research is a descriptive study by examining the actualization of Astha  Brata 's leadership to realize the Pancasila Student Profile in the "Sekolah Penggerak". The method used is literature study through books, journals related documents and news/online. Study results show that Astha  Brata 's leadership values are still relevant and can be actualized to answer the challenges of being a school principal and "Guru Penggerak", who is expected to become a learning leader to realize the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasingly advanced technological developments, especially in terms of the use of social media. Social media in the era of advances in information technology allows us to more freely relate to people in various parts of the world. This can have both positive and negative impacts. One thing that needs to be addressed is the easier it is for foreign cultures to enter through social media which can affect national identity. Therefore, Pancasila as the nation's view of life means that Pancasila is the guideline for every behavior of the Indonesian nation. The values contained in Pancasila should be able to become a filter against incoming foreign cultures due to the easier access to social media in the current era of technological advancement. The formulation and purpose of this research is to provide a descriptive analysis of the application of Pancasila values as a filter against foreign cultures in the era of advances in social media information technology. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The benefits of this research are; 1) this research can be used as a reference for further similar studies, 2) this research can be used as an illustration of the application of Pancasila values in the filtering of foreign cultures in the era of advancing social media technology.

Abstract

Abstract
