Abstract

The purpose of the study was to improve science learning outcomes in the symbiotic material. The research method is classroom action research (learning improvement) with two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Data collection techniques using learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative with presentile data analysis. Based on the improvement of learning cycle I and cycle II, the learning outcomes of cycle I can be presented which can achieve completeness as many as 19 students (66.00%) with a class average of 71.1. Cycle II learning outcomes that can achieve completeness are 27 students (93.1%) with a class average of 84.1. Judging from the percentage of completeness and the average value of increasing learning outcomes, it can be concluded that the use of the discovery learning model in the symbiotic material can significantly improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

In the learning process, the learning model affects students' motivation and learning outcomes. The use of the right learning model makes learning more interesting and not monotonous so that it can improve learning outcomes. The Jigsaw learning model is carried out by discussion in two stages. The first is that students work individually according to the assigned task. And the second with group discussions. The Jigsaw learning model is able to increase motivation and learning outcomes in many ways. The purpose of this study is to increase motivation and learning outcomes in terms of many students of class VI. Based on the analysis and discussion of the research results, it can be concluded that with the Jigsaw learning model there is an increase in motivation and multifaceted learning outcomes in class VI students.

Abstract

The duties and responsibilities of a teacher include creating an atmosphere or climate for the learning process that can motivate students to always study well and enthusiastically. The teacher's role is as an educator, teacher, mentor, director, trainer, assessor, and evaluator of students. Reading is a language skill that has a very important role in life. Cultured and educated humans make reading a necessity in communication. By reading students will easily get knowledge and insight from anywhere. Based on the above, it can be concluded that without good reading skills, students will not be able to understand the learning process and the material being taught. Therefore, the teacher's role is needed in improving reading skills in second grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Discovery Learning in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education which has been implemented in the 2013 curriculum at SD N 07 Lasi Tuo. This study uses a case study approach to data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data used by applying an interactive analysis model whose stages are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data in this study is to use triangulation of data and data sources. The results of this study can be said that the implementation of discovery learning in Pancasila and Citizenship Education learning at SD N 07 Lasi Tuo for the 2020/2021 academic year students feel comfortable in its implementation. The results of this study also show that there is a process of elaborating concepts with this method carried out through four stages, namely as follows: data presented to students, students analyzing methods to get concepts, students analyzing methods to get concepts, students applying concepts.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve student learning outcomes in PPKn grade V elementary schools with  active learning strategy type Giving Question and Getting Answer (GQGA) . The research conducted was a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with three cycles, with each cycle consisting of one meeting. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Each meeting is carried out formative test to determine the progress of students. In the first cycle the students who completed after carrying out the formative test were 70% and a class average 70. In the second cycle students who completed after carrying out the formative test were 82,5% dan a class average 77. In the third cycle students who completed after carrying out formative test were 100% and a class average 81,75. These results indicate that active learning strategy type giving question and getting answer (GQGA) can improve student learning outcomes, especially grade V PPKn at SD Negeri 04 Serang academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

This research is motivated by an interest in seeing the application of cooperative learning models in social studies learning with the formulation: 1) Achievement  of the application of cooperative learning models in social studies learning ?, and 2) Factors - what factors are constraints in applying cooperative learning models to social studies learning ?. The data analyzed in the research comes from the publication of scientific works that have been studied first. Data search is done by using the keyword "key cooperative learning model in social studies learning". Based on the search results, 9 journals were found that met the research criteria. The nine journals were then analyzed and yielded conclusions. 1) The application of cooperative learning models especially in social studies learning must be accustomed to daily learning activities, 2) There needs to be an effort to increase understanding related to cooperative learning models especially for teachers in the form of seminars, comparative studies, or DIKLAT, and 3) Facilities and infrastructure to support cooperative learning especially in social studies learning need to be improved.

Abstract

The background of this research is because of the difficulties experienced by the second grade students of SD Negeri Waru 03, Bantarkawung District, Brebes. It is proven by the percentage of student learning in the previous class of 30% of students who have completed. The reason is that they feel bored with the monotonous learning process and do not use varied learning methods.The model in this study uses the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model which consists of 4 stages, namely; planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were second grade students of SD Negeri Waru 03 Bantarkawung District, Brebes Regency for the 2020-2021 academic year with a total of 13 students, consisting of 10 male students and 3 female students. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, documentation, and written test assessment. The results of this study can be explained as follows: 1) in the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method there is an increase in teacher and student activity in each cycle, this can be proven for teacher activity in the first cycle to reach a percentage of 80% (good), while in the second cycle teacher activity reached a percentage of 100% (very good). Student activity in the first cycle reached a percentage of 69.16% (good), while in the second cycle it reached a percentage of 90.00% (very good) so that in the second cycle it was declared successful because it had reached the KKM

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to determine the improvement of science learning outcomes about the solar system through the application of the TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) type of cooperative learning model for class VI students at SD Negeri Wanoja 02 Wanoja Village, Salem District, Brebes Regency in the second semester of the 2018 academic year. /2019 The subjects of this study were 30 grade VI students, this research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle having an objective test. The results of the research that have been carried out are obtained in the first cycle the percentage of student activity is 6%, the average grade at the time of the post test has only reached 65.8 with students' classical learning mastery of 50%, then in the second cycle the percentage of student activity is 55.56% , the average value increased to 80.28 with students' classical learning completeness of 83%, so it can be concluded that the application of the TAI type cooperative learning model in science lessons about the solar system can improve the learning outcomes of sixth grade students at SD Negeri Wanoja 02, Salem District, Regency Brebes.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The aim is to describe the application of classroom management principles and explain its effect on the learning motivation of grade 1 students at SDN Mangunlegi 01 Batangan. The participants of this study were 14 students and 1 teacher. The data analysis technique used in this research is interactive data analysis. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that classroom management at SDN Mangunlegi 01 Batangan was carried out properly in accordance with the principles of classroom management, namely: teacher attitudes such as enthusiasm, warmth, and intimacy. Challenging learning. Various learning activities. The flexibility of the teacher in every action. Positive instruction to students. Cultivate discipline in students. Through the implementation of classroom management, students become motivated and exhibit behaviors such as: Active in class. Willing to try hard things. Desire to study successfully. I want to start with myself. Persevere in the face of learning difficulties. Pay attention to the teacher. So it can be concluded that the principle of classroom management has an effect on students' learning motivation.

Abstract

The character of discipline and responsibility is one of the value of character in the core competence of social attitudes to be developed to learners. The study aims to know and describe the application of the educational character discipline and responsibility of the students at SDN 3 Giritontro.This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study by survey. Sampling techniques using the inaugurate stratified cluster of random samples. The data collection technique used consisted of an interview technique, an angket, and an observation. The data is analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics. Studies show that the application of education in character discipline and responsibility at SDN 3 Giritontro is well done. Based on research results it is best that students' behavior in applying the character discipline and responsibility need to be emphasized and should be continually related to students, so that the behavior will be better than ever.
