Abstract

Education not only teaches understanding material, but also the formation of attitudes and media in preserving local culture. Planting local wisdom is important to apply because it is a means for students to better understand and love the culture they have. This study uses a qualitative method with a narrative approach. The informants in this study were history teachers and students of SMA Negeri 1 Baturetno. Observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. The data validity test used technical triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis techniques with interaction analysis consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed 1) planting local wisdom in the history of teaching teachers only developed their own learning related to regional culture. The planting of local wisdom tends to be in school activities outside of learning 2) the implementation of local wisdom values carried out by students has gone well. The values of local wisdom include ethics, aesthetics, religion, and social.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in finding vocabulary and vocabulary meanings related to social life. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were students of class II SD Negeri Sukareja 02 in the 2020/2021 school year, totaling 14 students. Data collection techniques using tests. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research shows that the application of Kahoot media can improve student learning outcomes in the material of finding vocabulary and meaning related to social life in class II SD Negeri Sukareja 02 in the academic year 2020/2021 as evidenced by the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in cycle I of 71%, cycle II of 86 %, and becomes 93% in cycle III.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling is an inseparable part of the education system. Likewise at Kaliwungu Elementary School which has implemented the Guidance and Counseling program. The Guidance and Counseling Program is implemented to direct and overcome problems experienced by students, both in academic and non-academic fields. These problems include lazy and slow in learning, undisciplined, fight, and so forth. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of guidance and counseling programs at  Kaliwungu elementary school. This method of research is a qualitative descriptive study with interview and observation technique. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the guidance and counseling program at Kaliwungu elementary school is carried out by the class teacher. The form of guidance given is individual guidance and group guidance. Individual counseling is an ecletive counseling by the teacher advising and directing students according to the problem. Group guidance in the form of remedial teaching and home room program

Abstract

This study aims to 1) Develop prototype technology in the form of character education based virtual laboratories 2) Know the quality of prototype technology in the form of character education based virtual laboratories. This type of research is research and development research using the Borg & Gall research model which consists of 10 stages. Subjects, populations and samples in this study include teachers, Elementary School Students, Media Specialists, Material Experts, Linguists and Psychologists. The results of this study are 1) The prototype of technology in the form of a virtual laboratory based on character education for class IV 2013 curriculum consists of 1 theme, in 1 the theme consists of 8 experiments 2) The quality of the virtual laboratory according to the assessment of media experts, material experts, linguists, experts psychology, teachers, and students are in the good category.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the inculcation of critical thinking skills in primary schools. Critical thinking is a complex thinking process that is thinking in a reflective, independent manner and aims to make reasonable decisions, which include analyzing, synthesizing, recognizing problems and solving them, concluding and evaluating. Critical thinking skills in primary school is still not maximal because the teacher still has not triggered the students to think critically. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with literature study data collection techniques. Based on literature review, it can be concluded that critical thinking skills is a high-level thinking process that needs to be instilled since students in elementary school.

Abstract

The improvement of the quality of education is based on the establishment of the quality of learning and the development of technology. The quality of learning is determined by the competence of teachers in managing the classroom. Online learning with various features and applications can be a great alternative for teachers and students to keep interacting without having to come face to face during covid-19. The online-based VCT learning model can provide critical-creative power, fostering positive attitudes, interests, and grades to students in history learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the online-based Value Clarification Technique learning model on the affective learning outcomes of history students. The research method uses quantitative methods with quasi-experimental designs. The population in this study is all grade XI students of Sma Negeri 9 Bogor City. While the sampling technique is purposive sampling which is divided into two classes into experiment groups (XI IPA 3) and control group (XI IPA 1). The data collection method is a multiple-choice test method. The results of this study show that online-based VCT learning models influence students' affective learning outcomes in historical learning.

Abstract

Abstract Researchers are interested in revealing efforts to improve student learning outcomes through the Project Based Learning model for grade V students in science subjects Food Chains and Food Nets at SD Islam Al Umar Ngargosoka, Srumbung. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) using a research model developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. This study consisted of three cycles. The average value obtained in the posttest cycle I was 7, in cycle II was 82 and in cycle III 94 The percentage of student learning completeness also increased, cycle I reached 76%, cycle II reached 88% and cycle III 94%. The results of these studies indicate that the use of the Project Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects. So it is hoped that the Project Based Learning model can be used as one of the science learning models in elementary schools that further develops the abilities of students.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which consists of two cycles. This PTK has two cycles in one cycle, there are four stages, namely Plan, ACT and observer, reflect. The research subjects were grade I students of SDN Karangwangkal Banyumas, Central Java, with 26 students. Data collection techniques using test and non-test techniques. As for the assessment instrument using item items and observation of the scoring rubric. Analysis of the data used in the study included a comparative descriptive technique, namely a statistical technique by comparing the scores between cycles, the mean, the minimum score, the maximum, and the percentage. The results of the study that the use of audio-visual media can improve student learning outcomes in Theme 3 Sub-theme 4 Class 1 Night Activities of SDN Karangwangkal, this is evidenced by the learning outcomes in cycle I, namely 10 students out of 26 students or 38% who have not completed yet. students who complete as many as 16 students from 26 students or 62%. In cycle II, there were 3 out of 26 students or 12% of the students who had not completed, while 23 students out of 26 students or 88% who had finished. This means that student learning outcomes increase from cycle I to cycle II. The conclusion of this study is that using audio-visual media can improve student learning outcomes in Theme 3 Sub-theme 4 Class 1 Night Activities of SDN Karangwangkal.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a thematic Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) and test the effectiveness of the thematic SSP to improve the affective domain in grade IV elementary school students in Potrobangsan 1 Elementary School Magelang. This research is a Research and Development, which stages consist of: research and data collection; planning; development of product drafts; initial field trials; revision of trial results; field trials; improvement of field trial product products; field implementation test, improvement of the final product. Data collection instruments consisted of interview guidelines, product assessment sheets, SSP assessments by teachers, student observation sheets, response questionnaires and students. The results of this study are in the form of SSP which includes: syllabus, lesson plans, LKPD and evaluation sheets. The results of the SSP assessment are in the form of syllabus, lesson plans, LKPD and assessment sheets developed in good category. Thus it can be stated that the developed SSP was feasible and effective to improve the affective domain of grade IV primary school students.

Abstract

As a teacher who has skills to teach in the classroom, they will do professionally. However, that was not enough to understand how learners proceed information and knowledge. Processing information take place in the brain. In fact, the human brain is complex. It can regulate our mind, thinking, behavior, including visceral system in our body. This literature study aims to provide information about neurosciences in teaching and learning in the classroom. This study is done through exploring at the google and google scholar. Furthermore, pleminary research is needed to explore teacher’s perception about neuroscience in the classroom.
