Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning of the concept of addition and subtraction in elementary school integers. Learning mathematics needs to understand the concept between addition and subtraction. With appropriate media and teaching materials, it is hoped that students will be able to understand the concept of addition and subtraction and be able to determine the operational results of addition. The concept of addition and subtraction that occurs, among others, in writing operation signs, such as plus (+), minus (-) and equal (=). The development of the times and technology has made students lazy in calculating numbers and lacking, because everything has been helped by calculators or via the internet. Students also consider mathematics as learning that makes students difficult so that many of the students do not like mathematics. The method used in the preparation of this article is a literature study. The results of the literature study found that learning media in the form of number cards, number lines, colored cards, and toy cars as well as teaching modules through the CTL approach and interactive learning videos were able to increase student activity and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Based on the low outcome of the third grade students in fraction material due to the teacher centered learning method done by the teacher. To improve student’s learning achievement in fraction material by using concrete media, there was conducted a classroom action research with two cycles. In the first cycle, there was 62,5% of students who completed after carried post test. In the second cycle, there was 83,3% of students who completed after carried post test. This results indicate that concrete media can improve student’s learning outcome in fraction material, especially the third grade at SDN 01 Ganten.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD N 01 Gondangmanis in 2021/2022 in social studies learning about economic activities and types of work by applying the Self Organized Learning Environments (SOLE) learning model. This research is a classroom action research that goes through four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of the research show that the application of the SOLE learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the material of economic activities and types of work in class IV students at SDN 01 Gondangmanis in 2021/2022. In the pre-action results, only 2 or 25% of students managed to obtain a complete score. Minimum (KKM = 70) with an average value of 63.75. The action taken is the application of the Self Organized Learning Environments (SOLE) learning model. In the first cycle, the results obtained were 5 or 67.5% of the 8 students who managed to get a complete score with an average score of 70.62. Whereas in the second cycle the results obtained were 7 or 87.5% of the 8 students who succeeded in obtaining a complete score with an average score of 84.37.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the Project Based Learning learning model in science learning. By looking at the definitions, steps, advantages and disadvantages as well as the implementation of the PjBL learning model in science learning, it is hoped that it will bring new insights into the application of the learning model. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through literature study by reviewing books, articles, journals, and other sources of information that are relevant to PjBL and the independent curriculum. From this literature study it was found that PjBL is a good and appropriate learning strategy because PjBL has the advantage of being able to improve learning outcomes, achievement, motivation, and the 4C abilities (collaboration, communication, critical thinking, creative thinking) of students. The results of the research show that the Project Based Learning model is a very good model to use in science learning. This can be seen from the many learning theories that support project-based learning models in science learning.
