Abstract

Boids kept as exotic pets nowadays has increased in recent decades [1]. Its popularity has increased in Indonesia. Without proper husbandry, snakes have higher risk for infection, such as respiratory infection. Respiratory infections are common in captive snakes that could cause severe illness leading to death [2]. Many etiologies say respiratory infection in snakes, are mainly caused by bacteria. Microbiology test is one of the diagnostic method which could be performed to diagnose for a better treatment to identification the cause of the infection. API 20NE kit is a choice. Burkholderia cepacia is a bacterial infection which could occur in pythons. Abstract

Google is a search engine providing information with a high level of conformity to the requirements in comparison with other search engines. Using natural language index makes Google can accept all forms of queries that arc entered into the database. Despite the popular search engine has a design and search facilities as varied as simple and advanced searches, remain relevant information is obtained when a searcher has a good competence. Where the searcher has to understand the concept of information needs before conducting a search. Competence in searching through Google with a case study of Library Science Departement Student Adab and Humanities Faculty at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta clone by observing the five informants to the understanding of the information needs, search strategies selection, strategies implementation, results assessment, and alternatives search if the results is not appropriate the needs. This study adapted the standard of competence ACRL Information Literacy Standards: The Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education to provide indicators, outcomes, and coverage in the analysis. Abstract

ABSTRAKKlaster industri merupakan suatu pendekatan yang dipandang sesuai bagi pembangunan industri dalam menghadapi perubahan lingkungan industri yang strategis. Dengan pengembangan dan penguatan struktur industri, suatu daerah/negara semakin memiliki peluang mengembangkan potensinya dan untuk bersaing di arena global.Sentra Industri Surapati merupakan salah satu dari penataan lima kawasan sentra industri di Kota Bandung. Departemen Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Jawa Barat telah memilih sentra industri Surapati sebagai industri TPT (titik masuk), karena potensi ekonomi, pengembangan tenaga kerja serta kemudahan akses sentra industri kaos surapati dirasa sangat strategis sebagai titik masuk bagi pengembangan klaster industri TPT di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Sentra industri kaos Surapati juga merupakan model bagi pengembangan klaster industri TPT nasional.Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor determinan yang mempengaruhi perkembangan klaster industri, serta untuk memformulasikan rencana implementasi dari kebijakan industri. Formulasi strategi ini disusun berdasarkan Model Diamond Porter dan analisis SWOT.Hasil dari penelitian mengajukan strategi “jaga dan pertahankan”, yang mencakup alternatif strategi penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk. Prioritas strategi untuk pengembangan dan penguatan klaster industri kaos Surapati ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode Delphi dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan produk adalah merupakan strategi terbaik. Kata kunci: klaster industri, model Diamond Porter, analisis SWOT, metode Delphi.   ABSTRACTIndustrial Cluster is an approach which is appropriate for industrial development in coping with the change of strategic environment. By developing and strengthening industrial structure, a region/nation has more opportunity to develop its potential and to compete in global arena.            Surapati industrial area, as one of the five industrial area, is located in Bandung City. West Java Province’s Department of Industry and Trade has choosen Surapati industrial area as an TPT’s core (entry point), because its economics potential, manpower skill, and accebility is very strategic as an entry point for developing of TPT’s industrial cluster in West Java Province. Surapati industrial area also represents a role model for developing TPT’s national industrial cluster.            The aims of this research are to identify the determinant factor in developing industrial cluster and to formulate the implementation plan of the resulted industrial policy. The formulation of strategy is based on Diamond Porter Model and analysis.The result of the study proposes “hold and maintain” strategy that consist of the strategy of market penetration and product development. The priority of the strategy for developing and strengthening Surapati T-shirt industrial cluster is determined by using the Delphi method and the result shows that product development is the best strategy. Keywords: industrial cluster, analisis SWOT, Delphi’s method, Diamond Porter’s Model

Abstract

ABSTRACT Impunity is one of the most often thing that ever happened in order to settle the gross human rights violations. Impunity means crime without punishment and an inevitable phenomenon in gross human rights violations’ cases. In the scope of international law, impunity refers to the failure to bring perpetrators of gross human rights violations to justice and denial of the right of victims to obtain justice and their right to redress. Impunity allows the cycle of human rights violations keeps going on, because the persons who committed the violations are not considered responsible. The 1947 Rawagede massacre case is an old case that began to become a hot topic which discussed by many recently ever since the case was taken to the Hague District Court in 2009. Therefore, the problems in this thesis are about the position of impunity in human rights violations’ cases, the international laws that related to the practice of impunity and how that happened in the case of the 1947 Rawagede massacre case. The research methodology used in this thesis is a normative legal research or library research, by collecting materials from books, journals, websites, legislations and other scientific papers which are closely related to the intentions and purposes of the preparation of this manuscript. Internationally, there are a few regulations which can be applied in this topic, because the scope is about human rights. First of all is the contents in the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The second, for the assertion is the contents in the 1993 Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action. Last but not least, for the regulations on gross human rights violations are the contents in the 1998 Rome Statute. But because Indonesia has not ratified the 1998 Rome Statute and this events occurred long before the Rome Statute generated, then the case was submitted to the Hague District Court. As the result of this study, the conclusion is that the practice of impunity itself, even though not inevitable, still will not release the offenders from their responsibilities towards the victims of gross human rights violations because the victims have basic legal rights that must be fulfilled.

Abstract

Increasing the elderly population every year raises a variety of health problems, one of the most trending case in elderly is hypertension. Non-pharmacology treatment chosen as an independent nursing intervention that can be done by the elderly is Benson relaxation. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of Benson relaxation on blood pressure in elderly with hypertension. The research used quasy experiment design with nonequivalent control group. The study was conducted on elderly people with hypertension in the work area of Posyandu Rintis, Fifty City Pekanbaru Health Center. The sample was chosen using a purposive sampling method that met the inclusion criteria. The amount of respondents was 30 people that divided into two groups, 15 people in the experimental group and 15 people in the group. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the dependent t test and independent t test. The instrument of this study using digital tensimeter. The statistical test results obtained p value posttest of systolic blood pressure on experimental group was (0,000) < α (0,05) and diastolic blood pressure on experimental group was (0,000) < α (0,05), so it was found that there was a decrease in blood pressure in elderly with hypertension in the work area of the Posyandu Rintis. This Benson relaxation therapy can be applied as one of the nonpharmacological independent nursing interventions to overcome hypertension problems in the elderly. Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is characterized by lower abdominal pain, with  the level of pain vary ranging from mild to severe and management of dysmenorrhea can be used with several ways such as pharmacological, non-pharmacological and mixed. The purpose of this research is representation intensity of pain and management dysmenorrhea in teenager of Tambang Senior High School, Through quantitative research and descriptive design. In this research the population is a randomly selected teenage girl of Tambang Senior High School the sample 168 respondent are taken based on inclusion criteria. The instrument in this research used is numerical rating scale for the variable of pain level and the questionnaire fot the variable of management dysmenorrhea. The result of this research  findings characteristic of respondents aged 17 (32,1%) and menarche most when i was of respondents aged 12 (31,5%). Most respondent experience dysmenorrhea with moderate pain respondents 79 (47,0%). Majority management of dysmenorrhea with non-pharmacological respondent 88 (52,4%). The majority of the respondents were feminax drug therapists hen 55 (32,7%). The majority of non-pharmacological management is done by respondents with a rest of 133 (79.2%). Research this study suggests that adolescents who experience dysmenorrhea to make proper management, so that the pain does not interfere with learning activities at school.  Keywords: dysmenorrhea, female students, management dysmenorrhea

Abstract

Menopause is natural process that occurs in everry woman. One of the signs of physical symptoms during menopause is hot flashes. Hot flashes is a feeling of heat, burning that occurs in the face, neck, chest, and even throught the body, which is accompanied by sweat, heart palpitations varying time span for each menopausal woman. Design research sed is descriptive quantitative research. The sample are 97 respondents taken based on the inclusion criteria using purposivve sampling technique. Measuring devices used are the questionare of respondents characteristic, questtionare of level knowledge and questionare experience. The analysis used the univariate analysis to know the distribution of respondents characteristic, level of knowledge and experience. The results of study showed the most respondents ages are 50-54 years old as much 52 people (53,6%), 93 people (95,9%) had islam religion, 49 people (50,5%) had minang tribe, 46 people (47,4%) were middle education (senior high school), 71 people (73,2%) respondents not work, 77 people (79,4%) married, 67 people (69,1%) respondents had first menstruation at the age 10-14 years old, and had the last menstrual period at the age 50-54 years as much 48 people (49,5%). For 97 respondents there were has level of enough knowledge 38 people (39,2%), good knowledge 33 people (34,0%), and 26 people (26,8%) has less knowledge. While for experience as much 95 people (97,9%) has good experience and 2 people (2,1%) has bad experience. Suggested to menopausal woman to find level of knowledge and experience hot flashes. Abstract

This research aims to know the impact of CSR, number of commissioners committee and leverage on profitability at manufacturing companies at Indonesian Stock Exchange. This study is quantitative descriptive. The data collection is from taking manufacturing companies’ financial statements that are listed at Indonesian Stock Exchange, according to the number of samples, selecting from purposive sampling. Data analysis method is multiple regression method at 5% of significant. The result of the study is the coefficient determination is 20.6%, means that the impact of independent variables is 20.6%, and the remaining is affected by other variables. The result of the study shows that leverage has impact on ROA, partially, and CSR and number of commissioner have no impact on ROA; however, simultaneously, CSR, number of commisioners and leverage has impacted significantly on ROA

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh citra perusahaan, informasi akuntansi, informasi netral, rekomendasi penasehat, dan kebutuhan finansial terhadap keputusan investasi pada pasar modal. Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah investor aktif yang berdomisili di Kota Batam, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Data diambil melalui survei kepada 295 investor yang kemudian di analisis dengan menggunakan program SmartPLS version 3.2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel citra perusahaan, informasi akuntansi dan rekomendasi penasehat tidak berpengaruh signifikan, sedangkan variabel informasi netral dan kebutuhan finansial memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap keputusan investasi. Hasil ini diharapkan memberikan rekomendasi kepada perusahaan sekuritas dalam meningkatkan investor potensial. Kata-kata Kunci : citra perusahaan, informasi akuntansi, informasi netral, rekomendasi penasehat, dan kebutuhan finansial.

Abstract

The behavior of mather's to their childrens affects the development of children, include the psychosocial development of children. One of the behavior of mather's that have an impact on children's psychosocial development is verbal abuse. Verbal abuse is a set of words or behaviors can hurt other people's feelings that includes insulting with inappropriate words, berating, yelling, scaring, and threatening others. This study aims to determine the relationship between mother's verbal abuse behavior and psychosocial development of preschool in the area of the RI Sidomulyo Public Health Center, Tampan District, Pekanbaru. This study used a descriptive correlation design with a cross sectional approach. The research sample was 98 respondents who were taken using purposive sampling technique with univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using chisquare test. There are 31 (31.6%) respondents with high verbal abuse category who have children in the category of abnormal psychosocial development. The results of statistical analysis showed that there were a significant relationship between mother's verbal abuse behavior on the psychosocial development of preschool with p value (0.000) < alpha (0.05). Mother's verbal abuse behavior has a relationship with the psychosocial development of preschooler. Mothers should improve communication and suggested to have good attitudes to their children and for health care provider to improve health education about verbal abuse behavior to children.
