Abstract

The arithmetic operations of addition and subtraction are basic mathematics that must be learned since the 1st grade of elementary school to make it easier for students to do mathematics in advanced grades. In this research, the aim is to improve the ability to do arithmetic operations of addition and subtraction with concrete media for grade 1 students at SD Negeri Bantarkawung 03. Through classroom action research, the quality of learning can be improved because the teacher immediately knows what needs to be improved. The number of respondents studied in this study were all first grade elementary school students, totaling 22 students. This research was carried out in 2 cycles. Based on the description of the implementation of the action, the results of the research and discussion, data were obtained that there was an increase in the ability to do arithmetic addition and subtraction operations in each cycle. It can be seen from the application of the pre-cycle, that is, 40% has increased to 20%, so the total is 60% in the first cycle, then it has increased in the second cycle, which is an increase of 27%, the total increase is 87%. The conclusion is that using concrete objects media can improve the ability of addition and subtraction arithmetic operations in grade 1 students of SD Negeri Bantarkawung 03

Abstract

This paper examines the implementation of education policies during the Covid-19 pandemic related to distance learning policies. The distance learning process is a solution that is not yet optimal in its implementation. The purpose of writing this article is to display and desciprtion challenges faced by teachers in the learning process during the pandemic in the SD Negeri 01 Kebandungan, Kecamatan Bantarkawung. This study used a descriptife qualitative. The results of this study prove that, (1) the family economy burdens the problems of the primary needs of parents lives, (2) parental education can affect how parents guide and care for their children while are learning at home, and (3) limited learning resourc as having to have an andorid based phone, data, and signal become obstacles in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to motivate and improve student achievement in grade VI SD Negeri Malahayu 03 in learning science about simple electrical circuits. The low evaluation results are usually related to student behavior during learning. For example, students often go in and out of class alternately, talk to themselves, and do not dare to ask questions to the teacher when they have difficulties. To achieve success in learning in a class, it is necessary to use appropriate learning methods and use of teaching aids. Teaching aids that encourage students to be active in the learning process of Natural Sciences are concrete teaching aids. Based on the data of grade VI students of SD Negeri  Malahayu 03 who achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria, from 44 students there were 19 students (43%) in the pre-cycle to 31 students (71%) in the first cycle and 40 students (100%) in the second cycle. The conclusion of this study shows that learning with concrete media can improve science learning outcomes for grade VI students of SD Negeri Malahayu 03, Banjarharjo District, Brebes Regency in the first semester of the 2019/2020 school year.

Abstract

This study aims to identify problems in learning science at home during the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in fifth grade students at SDN Peterongan in the 2019/2020 school year. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The data sources of this study were all fifth grade students, parents, and fifth grade teachers. The data collection technique was done by using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. The data validity test used in this study was technical triangulation and source triangulation. Data were analyzed using the data analysis model Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that student learning problems occur due to lack of interest and motivation of students and students have difficulty understanding concepts. Only 36% of students showed interest in online science learning, and 70% of students had difficulty understanding concepts. The problems that occur are caused by several factors. Based on these factors, efforts that can be made to solve learning problems experienced by students are to increase students' interest and motivation by choosing learning methods and media that make students interested and become more active, provide enrichment and remedial, and maintain communication with parents to monitor student learning difficulties at home.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of improving student learning outcomes for class IV mathematics at SDN Baros 04 with a factorization table prop on the material to determine the KPK and FPB. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects were class IV students, totaling 20 students. This CAR design includes planning, implementation, observation (evaluation), and reflection. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle. During the pre-cycle the average value of 59.50 with the percentage of completeness (30%) increased during the first cycle to 67.75 the percentage of completeness (60%) and increased again in the second cycle with an average value of 80.50 the percentage of completeness (90%). Thus, it can be concluded that the use of factorization table props on the material to determine GCF and KPK can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Class action research was motivated by the discovery of cases of third grade students at SD Negeri Pabelan 2, it was identified that in learning mathematics, multiplication arithmetic operations were still low. This fact is shown through the value of the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) for Mathematics, which is 75, only 36% of students achieve the KKM score. The purpose of the research is to improve the achievement of mathematics learning outcomes with the number card game method. This study used a classroom action research design consisting of two cycles. Data collection techniques in this study through written tests and observations. From the results of the study showed that the mastery of learning increased in the first cycle by 68% and in the second cycle by 72%. From these results it can be concluded that by applying the number card game method, multiplication and division counting operations material can improve mathematics learning outcomes and provide a fun learning atmosphere and can motivate students to be active in learning.
