Abstract

Serang beach is one of the beaches in Blitar Regency. Visits to Serang Beach attractions are influenced by various factors. In this study the factors studied to determine the influence of visiting interest to Serang Beach is promotional factors, economic factors, factors of infrastructure and psychological factors. Sampling in this research is by accidental sampling method, in which the researcher has the freedom to choose who the consumer is met to be sampled, with the number of respondents as many as 100 people. Data analysis was done by using multiple linier regression analysis method, data processing was done by SPSS Statistics 16 for Windows program. The result of the research shows that promotion factor, economic factor, facility factor and psychological factors significantly (together) have an influence on the interest of visiting Serang Beach, and psychological factor is the most dominant factor influencing the interest to visit Serang Beach tourism object.

Abstract

Rice cultivation often face obstacles, and one of them is bacterial leaf blight (BLB) disease caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo). The application of endophytic bacteria is one of solutions to overcome this problem. Endophytic bacteria are non-pathogenic bacteria, which live in plant tissues. These bacteria could be isolated from the plant tissues. They may adapt to the plant tissues and produce antibiosis that could increase the plant resistance. Therefore, objectives of the research were to isolate the endophytic bacteria from healthy plant tissues and to identify them through morphology, physiology, biochemistry, and molecular. Method of the research was explorative along with three principal activities, such as isolation, selection, and identification on the potential endophytic bacteria. The isolation of the endophytic bacteria from healthy rice tissues has resulted 53 isolates and five of them have antagonistic ability in vitro against Xoo. Isolate ak9 has the highest antagonistic ability, 7.67 mm, in comparison with other isolates. Results of identification showed that those five potential bacteria have close relations, such as da3 with Bacillus cereus, isolate ak9 with Burkholderia sp., isolate ak30 with Enterobacter sp and isolate da9, as well as ak15 are Corynebacterium sp.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the participation of women farmers in the formation of Kampung Kucai through Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT), as well as identifying gender roles and assessing the extent of women's contribution to household income through home gardening optimization for farming activities in Kampung Kucai. the location of the research is purposive in Kampung Kucai, Dusun Kranggan, Pojok Village, Blitar Regency. The study was conducted from March to April 2018. The sampling method used in this study was snowball sampling. The number of respondents in the study were 20 respondents, both husband and wife who were actively involved in Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) in Kampung Kucai. In addition there are 5 Key Informants. Data analysis used descriptive analysis using qualitative and quantitative approach. Based on the data analysis it can be seen that the participation of women in the formation of the village of kucai in the form of cultivation of kucai, promoting, until the sustainable management. The identification of gender roles in the management of cucumber farming in the yard is analyzed by differentiating roles / activities, differences of control (power) and access (opportunities), and benefits between men and women. Then for the time allocation of men in the role of production shows greater than women. Men allocate production roles for 10 hours / day or 66.7%. While women allocate production role for 5 hours / day or 33,3%. So that each contribution in household net income each month is Rp. 460,230, - for men and Rp. 229.770, - for women. While the allocation of female reproductive role is bigger than men with value respectively 50% and 14,5%.

Abstract

Urban is the destination and center of all community activities. According to Harahap,(2013) states that each population has a significant increase and population growth.Communities living in cities are highly demanded to have high productivity in order tocompete and meet their individual needs. But it cannot be denied that there are some urbancommunities who are not able to compete with the population. The profession of ahousewife in one example is a society that is not competitive and unproductive. Based onnational socio-economic survey data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (2004) statedthat most mothers in cities from 40 years who have children are 63.3% of households and29.6% of them are career women. This is because being a housewife in a city depends moreon the husband's income. Lately in Indonesia there has been considerable economicupheaval in various sectors that have enabled an increase in various needs in variousregions of Indonesia. This condition requires housewives to play the brain to supportfamily needs. Aquaverticuture insulation of agricultural development and efforts inincreasing productive business of housewives is a solution that can be offered insupporting the economy, this implementation program will be implemented in thecommunity of housewives in urban areas, while the areas to be piloted in this program arethe Circle of Friends Dahlia and Gardania at Sulfate Gardens Housing, PandanwangiVillage, Blimbing, Malang City.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the best dose of ethylene solution in flowering of pineappleplants. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) trial pattern with repeated 4 times.The dose treatment of ethylene concentration, namely: AI = 0.25ml. L A2, A2 = 0.5ml. L A3,A3 = 0.75ml. L¹, A4 = 1 ml. L¹, A5 = 1.25 ml. L¹,A6 = 1.5 ml. L¹, A7 = 1.75 ml. L¹ And 3treatments for each treatment were taken as samples. The results showed that the treatment ofadministration of ethylene 1.5 ml.L¹, is the best treatment for stimulating flowers on pineappleplants.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the attributes of starfruit juice "Cemara Sari" which isconsidered important by consumers as well as to find out the level of customersatisfaction and map of crabs from starfruit juice "Cemara Sari". Research has beencarried out around star fruits agrotourism in Sukorejo Subdistrict, KarangsariSubdistrict, Blitar City, which began in February to March 2018. The research wasconducted by distributing questionnaires and interviews with the respondents. The dataobtained were tested using validity and reliability tests to determine the feasibility of thevariables. used in the questionnaire, in addition to knowing the level of customersatisfaction using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and to find out the mapquadrant attribute starfruit juice "Cemara Sari" using the Importance PeformanceAnalisys (IPA). The results showed that the variables in the questionnaire feasible to usewith r table of 0.196 and the results of the validity shows the lowest value is 0.448 andreliability (alpha) of 0.763. The results of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) countshow a value of 69.79% and the Importance Peformance Analisys (IPA) addressQuadrant 1 in the contents of the variable smell and price, Kudran 2 in the contents ofthe taste variable, shelf life, packaging ability to protect the product and practicality ofpackaging, 3 In the contents of the texture, product color and attractiveness of thevariable, quadrant 4 is filled with the packaging color variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth andyield of cucumber plants, to determine the effect of applying spacing on the growth and yield ofcucumber plants, to determine the interaction of liquid bio slurry fertilizer and spacing ongrowth and yield of cucumber plants. The study was conducted using a randomized block designarranged in factorial (RAK) with 2 factors, the first factor was a liquid bio slurry fertilizer (P)dose consisting of 3 levels, 40 l / ha-1 (P1), 80 l / ha- 1 (P2), 120 l / ha-1 (P3). The second factoris the spacing (J) consisting of 3 levels: 30x60 cm (J1), 40x60 cm (J2), 50x60 cm (J3), 60x60 cm(J4). The variables observed included stem diameter, leaf area, and total weight. Data wereanalyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) level of 5% and further testing with Duncan 'sMultiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed: By giving different liquid slurry bio fertilizerdoses gave a significant effect on the leaf area of cucumber plants at the age of 21 HSTobservations. The best treatment for organic fertilizer dosage is in the treatment of 120 L ha -1(P3). The application of spacing has a significant effect on the stem diameter variable at the ageof 28 HST observations, and on leaf area variables at all ages of observation. The best treatmentof spacing on the variable stem diameter and leaf area on the treatment spacing of 60x60 cm(J4). There were no significant interactions on the treatment of liquid bio slurry fertilizer dosesand the spacing of growth and yield of cucumber plants at all ages of observation.

Abstract

This study aims 1) This study aims to reveal the differences between the growth and yieldof tomato plants. 2) Knowing the difference between NPK fertilizer and the growth andyield of tomato plants. 3) Knowing the interaction between husk ash and NPK fertilizeron the growth and yield of tomato plants. This research was conducted using factorialrandomized block design (RCBD) with 2 factors, the first factor was husk ash (A)consisting of 3 levels, namely 50 g (A1), 60 g (A2), 70 g (A3) . The second factor is NPKfertilizer (P) consisting of 3 levels: 2.50 g (P1), 3.75 g (P2), 5 g (P3). Variables thatmention include plant height, number of leaves, time of flowering plants, number offruit plants and fruit weight. Analysis date using analysis of variance (ANOVA) level of5% and further testing with Duncan's Multiple Distance Test (DMRT). The resultsshowed that: There was no real interaction between rice husk ash fertilizer and NPKfertilizer on the growth and yield of tomato plants. Treatment of 70 g husk ash dose (A3)significantly affected plant height at the age of 14, 21, 28, and 42 HST. The treatment ofNPK fertilizer (P) is of real value for plant height, number of leaves and fruit weight.The best plant height was 52.18 cm and 84.06 at the age of 28 and 42 days afterplanting, the best number of leaves in puppol was 3.75 g (P2). But in people who aresweet, the yield is not significant.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the soaking time of the seeds with natural auxin which is appropriate for the growth and production of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L). The study was arranged in a randomized treatment group 7 treatment and repeated 4x. The treatment was soaking time of shallot seeds (D). There are 28 field trial units. Treatment consisted of D0 = without soaking, D1 = soaking 2 hours, D2 = soaking 4 hours, D3 = soaking 6 hours, D4 = soaking 8 hours, D5 = soaking 10 hours, D6 = soaking 12 hours. The variables observed were shoot length, shallot / plant weight, tuber diameter. The results of the study showed that the 3 variables observed showed the best results in D3 treatment (soaking for 6 minutes) in natural coconut water. The best treatment is D3, which is a tuber weight value of 41.01 grams per plant with a tuber diameter of 2.01 cm.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Soybean plants is a strategic commodity in Indonesia, because soybean is an important crop food after rice and maize. One of the important diseases that attack soybean plants is damping off caused by pathogenic fungi S. rolfsii. One effort to suppress attack from pathogenic fungi it S. rolfsii attack is by using biological agents. Trial of antagonistic bacteria with fungi S. rolfsii stepin vitro is test the artificial media (media NA). The result of the selection of the lumpur Sidoarjo bacterial isolates obtained 15 and 5 bacteria have antagonistic properties against pathogenic fungi S. rolfsii is isolates LUSI 93, LUSI 43, LUSI 16, LUSI 6, and LUSI 54. The identification and characterization of antagonistic bacteria lumpur Sidoarjo is LUSI 93 belongs to the genus Vibrio sp. And for LUSI 54, 16 LUSI, LUSI 43, and LUSI 6 has been identified by previous research in a row belongs to the genus Corynebacterium sp, Vibrio sp, Erwinia sp and Corynebacterium sp.
