Abstract

In this 4.0 industrial era, information and communication technology plays a very important role in human life, especially in the trading sector. The pattern of buying and selling is starting to move from the conventional way to be online. Anambaleh Desain is one of the entrepreneurship in the filed printing. Anambaleh Desain requires a website to optimize the product of ordering process and expand its consumer reach. Anambaleh Desain E-retail is made with the MVC (Model View Controller) technique and uses the Laravel Framework which is a framework in the PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language. The Database Management System used is MySQL. This e-retail aims to optimize the ordering process and transaction in Anambaleh Desain, so that it can provide solution with speed and accuracy in processing and sharing data that has been computerized. It can also minimize the errors in the ordering process and transaction in Anambaleh Desain.

Abstract

Entering the digital era, communication and information technology continues to experience development. Therefore the development of these technologies must be adopted and utilized for educational purposes. The availability of teaching materials in the sample environment under study is still very limited, existing learning resources are still general in nature and still contain concepts with conventional formats. The purpose of this study was to determine the need for website-based learning for vocational students. The research sample was taken using Purposive Sampling as many as five Chemical Engineering students. Data collection is done by semi-structured interview methods, unstructured observation and field documentation to determine the urgency of the need for web-based teaching materials. The research instrument was the researcher herself with the help of interview guides. The collected data is then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's analysis theory, then triangulated to find out its validity. Based on the triangulation results from the three data, students are very interested in web-based learning. This research is expected to provide recommendations to policy makers to be able to meet the needs of web-based teaching materials for vocational students to improve their learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The low response given by parents to the information conveyed through the whatsapp class group and the high desire of parents to find out the value of children in each test, encourages teachers to innovate to solve these problems. This research is a qualitative research that aims to inform the assessment process through the application of whatsapp with the authentic assessment method. The subjects of this study were students of class III SD Negeri 4 Metro Timur and parents of students who were members of the whatsapp class group of 26 people. Data collection is done by making observations with observation sheets and direct interviews. Submission of information is carried out by the teacher through WA starting from the assessment process, compiling an assessment rubric, evaluating both themes and subjects to carrying out improved grades or remedial. From the observations it is known that parents of students are very enthusiastic about the transparency of the assessment conducted by the teacher as much as 84% ​​of students' parents see and comment, 12% see and 4% do not see and do not comment. Parents come to understand the assessment process to show results, even to the improvement of grades. For this reason, the transparency of assessment will continue to be developed, not only focusing on exam results but also on the learning process.

Abstract

The blended learning model combines f2f (face-to-face) learning with collaborative online learning classes. Blended learning is developed using Google classroom which has many features that strongly support digital-based teaching and learning. In addition, it also provides convenience for both lectures and during teaching and learning. Lecturers and students can carry out teaching and learning in the classroom and outside the classroom, discuss and communicate while they are connected through internet network. Lecturers can provide practical learning material in the form of e-books, e-jobsheets, video tutorials, and practice questions through cloud storage which is packaged in the form of digital content that can be accessed, studied and shared via internet anytime and anywhere by students. Blended learning is applied to the Programming Algorithm Practicum course. This research used R&D as the type of research, particularly in which a development method with ADDIE approach is applied. Moreover, the true experimental true experimental design approach (posttest only control design) is used to test the effectiveness of blended learning model. The results of this study proves that the implementation of blended learning is effective and efficient for teaching and learning process, especially for generation Z in higher education. The results of media and material validation are declared valid and suitable based on percentage of 81% ≥ v ≤100% with valid criteria, then the effectiveness of this blended learning can be seen from the results of the mid test and final test of the experimental group (Experiment Group) that was better than the control group (Control Group).

Abstract

Learning Media is a very important thing in the teaching and learning process, with the learning media students can understand learning better. The types of Pressure Sensors in the Department of Automotive Engineering, Padang State University have not been there, so students are not able to understand the concept of the characteristics still constrained. This study uses research and development methods (Research and Development) which aims to determine the performance, feasibility level of Basic Concept Trainer. Data retrieval is done 4 times in each test, raw data obtained during testing are processed with several stages of testing: Accuracy Test, Repeability Test, Linearity Test, Test the level of eligibility based on the opinion of experts and users. The results of the trainer performance of the basic concept of the pressure sensor, it is known that the accuracy test shows the average percentage accuracy is 99.45%, the linearity test data is linear, the repeatability test is obtained by 0.009, the feasibility level of the Trainer Basic Concepts of Pressure Sensors from 4 media experts in the category Very Eligible (91.81%), the feasibility level of the Basic Pressure Sensor Trainer concept from users in the Very Eligible category (92.93%).

Abstract

Advances in information technology have now penetrated all sectors in the world of education, including teachers and students. Students who are currently the Generation z are very active in using social media, from the fact the author feels the need to integrate social media into Generation z learning. This article will discuss what social media can be integrated in generation z learning, and how to integrate it. The research methodology used is a combination of library research and the author's experience in using social media in learning. Social media that can be integrated into Generation z learning, namely Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram. This election is based on the popularity of social media applications among the z generation, and all z generations use it. The way to integrate social media into learning generation Z, is by utilizing social media Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and Instagram as learning media. In practice this social media can be used as a virtual class, a forum for discussion, a place to share learning materials, share videos and pictures, and share information links around the lesson.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi membawa perubahan sangat besar, khususnya pada bidang Pendidikan terapan. Zaman yang terus berubah menjadikan pendidik di era modern harus melakukan inovasi dan kreatifitas dalam pembelajaran di kelas maupun di luar kelas. Masalah yang umum dirasakan pendidik era modern ini adalah sulitnya menemukan metode yang tepat dan praktis dalam memanfaatkan tehnologi dalam pembelajaran kelas. Penelitian lapang yang telah dilaksanakan pada dua kelas yang berbeda yaitu kelas kedokteran umum dan Pendidikan kewarganegaraan Universitas Tanjungpura telah menunjukan hasil dan data secara deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuktikan bahwa discord dapat dijadikan media dan sarana pembelajaran berbasis online. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan melihat kondisi pembelajaran pada saat menggunakan aplikasi discord yang mampu menciptakan iklim debat sosial antara dua kelas berbeda yang interaktif, menyenangkan dan santai. Manfaat praktis juga dirasakan pendidik dan mahasiswa dalam sharing keilmuan, sehingga discord dapat menjadi sebuah solusi praktis dan alternatif dalam kuliah online.

Abstract

Air mancur banyak digunakan untuk memperindah suatu tempat agar tempat tersebut lebih menarik, pancaran air mancur yang banyak digunakan di taman-taman tidak bervariasi sehingga hiasan taman dalam kurun waktu yang lama akan membuat tempat tersebut kurang menarik. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu alat pengontrol bentuk semburan pada air mancur,dengan pola semburan air bervariasi sesuai dengan irama music yang bervariasi sehingga lebih atraktif dan menarik serta sewaktu waktu bisa diubah sesuai yang diinginkan. Music hanya mengiri air mancur bukan mengikuti air mancur. Air mancur dapat dibuat bergerak mengikuti pola-pola yang telah ditentukan. pola-pola tersebut tidak selalu sama dan akan selalu berubah setiap saatnya. Agar air mancur dapat bergerak sesuai dengan pola-pola yang diinginkan, pengerak berupa motor ditambahkan pada penyemburan air mancur, sehingga pergerakkan air mancur lebih dinamis.

Abstract

Fingerprint recognition system aims to identify someone. The main obstacle in recognizing a person's fingerprints is that the image has a low quality. The quality is caused by the type of oily, dry, dirty skin and the type of fingerprint scanner used. For this reason, an increase was made with the aim of improving fingerprint images as the main factor determining the level of accuracy of fingerprint image recognition results. In order for fingerprint images to be easily interpreted by humans and machines, it is necessary to improve quality by clarifying the fingerprint line. This study aims to improve the quality of fingerprint images with the Minutiae Extraction algorithm and the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) method as a test. This test is carried out using 4 images as training in each class. The total number of classes in this test is 10 classes with each class consisting of 10 images. In testing 75 fingerprint image data obtained an accuracy rate of 83.3333%.

Abstract

The existence of demands for the acceptance of new students by using the national selection exam of tertiary institutions in Indonesia, high school / vocational high school graduates are expected to master a number of basic subjects. Based on the primary data, the students’ interview in choosing the majors for college which was conducted in Senior High School / Vocational High School in Indonesia are insufficient for the students to take the national exam. The purpose of this study is to produce a service system in the form of giving the facilities for students to abilities in teaching practice and facilitate students who want to learn but having a financial issue. It is expected that with the assistance by student teacher, it will be easier for other students to understand and gain sort of interest in the study. Based on the observation, both from the point of view of college students and the point of view of high school / vocational high school students, then it is considered essential to create this service system. Learning with this tutoring facility is very effective because it directly encourages the students in the competency section that they do not fully understand with the help of tutors who have a better understanding. The method used is a web-based system design with UML modelling, using use case diagrams, activities, collaborations and class diagrams to plan the flow of data transactions that exist in the mentoring assistance service system of tutoring.
