Abstract

Sign language is the communication that used by the deaf people. Sign language is also a form of accessibility for deaf people to be able to socialize with people around them. Deaf socialization with normal people in the society is not optimal because most of the people does not yet know sign language. Based on these problems, this study aims to develop an interactive media introduction to BISINDO sign language based on augmented reality for the community in supporting a society that is more inclusive of the deaf. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach. The sample in this study was deaf people who participated in the Gerkatin Padang community, and people from various professions in the city of Padang. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire and a focused group discussion technique. Based on the results of the collection of 100 respondents' perceptions data from the public towards sign language obtained: 1) the level of getting to know the community towards sign language is still low at 57%, 2) the level of skills using sign language is still low at 83%, 3) the importance level of sign language according the community is 81%, 4) The level of community needs to learn Sign Language is obtained by 88%, and 5) The level of selection of the right media for learning Sign Language, 74% of respondents choose media in the form of a smartphone application. The validity of the interactive media prototype introduction BISINDO sign language developed in terms of substance that is the suitability of sign language in the application obtained a validator rating of 89.33%, then in terms of the media obtained a validator value of 89.67%. It can be concluded that the interactive media prototype in the form of a smartphone application that was developed very well in terms of substance and media so that it is very feasible or valid to be used in the introduction of BISINDO sign language.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to contrive the e-report financial system that will be use on kripik balado mahkota store like the sales reporting, purchase reporting, profit and loss, and transaction of sales and purchases from suppliers or buyers. the method of design that will be used in the e-report financial system is using architectural MVC (model, view, and controller)techniques, combined with framework yii2 and PHP, storage media with database tool MySQL, and UML’s model design use case diagram, activity diagram, and class diagram. The results of e-report financial’s design are the electronic report will be available, easily accessible everywhere and every time, also minimize the redundant data and overlap data. So the design of the e-report financial system making the report so easily with the model, method, and supporting media that be used in the system.

Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials for electronic components based on Lectora Inspire software learning media in order to get a decent performance. Creating this media is designed by using the waterfall model software design methods, and it is including: 1) Design, 2) Architecture and Interface Design, 3) Coding/Programming, and 4) Testing. The feasibility test to the results of the development and creating of electronic components teaching material based on Lectora Inspire software was carried out on three main aspects, which consist of the software aspect, the media display design aspect, and the benefit aspect. Based on the results of the feasibility test which was conducted by two media experts. From this, it was obtained the data that, first, the average score of the software aspect was 17, the average score of the media display design aspect was 45.5, and the average score of the benefit aspect was 3. Thus, the average total score was 65.5 of 72. If it refered to the Likert scale table, it showed that the total score which has obtained can be interpreted that the teaching material was categorized as a very decent.

Abstract

The application of the Arc SDM program on remote sensing for gold minerals ini an area can be implemented by proving the compatibility of the result of the interpretation of satellite image with conditions in the study area. Remote sensing method is able to detect potential locations with mineral deposits occurrence that has certain characteristics that can affect a certain aspect of exploration activities, namely time efficiency. Remote sensing is an art and technique for obtaining information on an object, area or data analysis phenomenon acquired with a device without having to have direct contact with the object, area or phenomenon studied. In remote sensing, exploration activities play an important role in terms of isolating the potential of seed sediment based on remote sensing models. The use of remote sensing method can reduce exploration costs because it only focuses on detailed surface area of research that have more potential for the existence of minerals. By using this remote sensing method, we can determine specific area to explore, researching in detail in the shortest time possible. Mapping method for the mineralization geological exploration activities in the intended gold-bearing areas can utilize remote sensing data in the form of Landsat ETM satellite images. This method is expected to be able to produce accurate, valid and up-to-date data that makes it possible to create geological interpretation maps in a relatively short time (Rapid Mapping).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the level of maturity and application of information technology performance in implementing the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) at the "Veteran" National Development University of Jakarta (UPNVJ) because they see that the current utilization has not been maximized in IT utilization in terms of planning, implementation and supervision. The method to measure the level of maturity using the COBIT 5 method and the results obtained focus on 5 domains, namely the Deliver, Service and Support process in IT UPNVJ located at level 3 with a value of 2.80 and has a gap of 1.20. Results in the Evaluate, Direct and Monitor, Align, plan and organize, Build, Aquire and implement, BAI04 and Monitor, Evaluate and Assess domains in IT UPNVJ have level 2 with a value of 2.00 and have a gap of 2.00 and the Capability Level results are based on the overall 5 process domains have a value of 2.20 and a gap of 1.80, based on the specified target level, capability level 4.00.

Abstract

Abstrak Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang berusaha memecahkan atau menjawab masalah yang dihadapi pada subjek penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas X Multimedia SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya dengan jumlah 34 peserta didik. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa menggunakan media video dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Desain Grafis kelas X Multimedia SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil penelitian hasil penelitian yang didapatkan nilai dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan selama dua siklus, bahwa dapat disimpulkan: penggunaan media video dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, dapat dilihat dari rata-rata pra tindakan dengan nilai 43,82, rata-rata siklus I dengan nilai 74,56 dan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai 91,03 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Kata kunci: Media Video, Hasil Belajar, Desain Grafis

Abstract

This research aims to determine student perceptions of the effectiveness of the use of Quizizz as a game based learning applications. The population of the research is all 4th semester sharia banking students class of 2018. Respondents in this research is sharia Banking students who take sharia banking consolidation accounting course for the academic year 2019/2020. Total respondents in this research is 210 with total returned and could be analyzed questionnaires is 169. Data analysis performed using descriptive method which analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The research data was obtained by distributing surveys to all research samples using Google Forms application. The questionnaire instrument was measured using five likert scale, that is strongly disagree, disagree, not agree, agree and strongly agree.The results showed that in general students considered the use of Quizizz to have a positive impact in learning activities on the sharia banking consolidation accounting course. Students' consider Quizizz is easy-to use application, makes lectures more fun, increase mastery of the material, and increase students' motivation and activeness in studying sharia banking consolidation accounting course. There are some limitations and problems found in using Quizizz according to students', including internet connection limitations, the time limit given is too little, and some students also feel the need to discuss about the questions that are done through the Quizizz application in class so that answers are known which is correct and which is wrong.

Abstract

One source of funds that plays a very important role in education or teaching and learning activities is the Donation of Education Development or tuition fee. The problem faced by TEDC Polytechnic of Bandung is based on historical data from the financial department there are still many students who are late in making tuition payments, for that the authors make an analysis in predicting late payment of fees by using the Naive Bayes algorithm which is compared with Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) with the purpose of determining the classification pattern is right or late and to find out what indicators most influence the prediction of late payment of tuition fee. In testing the author uses 115 datasets from the results of a questionnaire filled out by students and these testing these divided into three models, the first is testing using the entire dataset and all attributes of the questionnaire results, the second test is done by using the entire dataset based on Particle Swarm Optimation (PSO), as well as the third test carried out using a dataset using the attributes that most influence to the prediction of late tuition payment. Off the 13 indicators, there are only 8 indicators that are most influential in predicting late payment of tuition fee, namely father's income, number of dependents of parents, pocket money / month, financial services, academic services, study programs, payment methods for tuition payment, and mother's occupation. The testing result of those three classification models using the highest Naive Bayes accuracy algorithm are testing using the Naive Bayes algorithm based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), with an accuracy of 73.94%, precision 78.50%, 69% recall, and AUC 0.771 , even though the execution time is 3 seconds longer.

Abstract

Motor speed control requires motor speed data as feedback from control actions. Motor speed data is usually obtained from the speed sensor. In this paper, the motor speed observer for permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed to obtain motor speed data based on motor back emf voltage making it more economical without a speed sensor. The Speed observer is designed based on the Model Reference Adapative System (MRAS) with using Least Squares Support Vector Machine Regression (LSSVMR) algorithm for adaptation mechanism tools. The proposed speed observer is tested with varying motor speeds. The test results show that the MRAS-based motor speed observer using LSSVMR has successfully estimated the rotation speed of the permanent magnet synchronous motor based on the back emf motor voltage. It can be seen from the maximum error of the motor speed, ie only 3.7 rpm at transient conditions and close to zero at steady state

Abstract

The rise of cyber attacks occurring in Indonesia could potentially cause incidents in institutions/companies. To anticipate these incidents, each institution/company need to prepare themselves by implementing proper incident management. There are a lot of incident management frameworks that can be used as a guideline in the implementation. But on the other hand, institutions/companies sometimes find it difficult to select the appropriate and suitable framework to use. The authors employed qualitative research methods using the data acquired from primary data (interviews) and secondary data (documentation). The data analysis techniques used were comparative analyses which included theoretical analysis, activity analysis, and analysis of the scope of incident management. The result of the analysis of the incident management scope was then validated using data triangulation method. Based on the theory analysis, there are differences on the 2 (two) compared incident management frameworks. These differences are seen from the definition of the activity-levelling scheme, definition of the maturity level of the incident management implementation, and the number of activities in the frameworks that can be implemented. The framework activities can be categorised into two, namely similar activities and different activities. There are 35 scopes of framework that can be considered as incident management processes.
