Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out the improvement of ability of elemenatry school teachers in Gugus 01 Baringin Anam Kecamatan Baso kabupaten Agam to create multimedia based on learning media by using Macromedia Director aplication. The improvement of ability is measured by using pre-test and post-test. The pre-test result that given to 20 teachers gained an average of 46.6 and the post-test result gained an average of 71. Based on the data, the increased percentage of elementary school teacher's ability was 52.36%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the ability of elementary school teachers in Gugus 01 Baringin Anam Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in producing people who can make changes by producing ideas in learning. However, the current problem is the readiness of graduates from schools to be able to continue their survival in finding work. One of them is the lack of skills possessed by graduates of high school/vocational school at this time and also very high competitiveness in getting a job. At present the workforce with graphic and multimedia design skills has considerable opportunities in industries engaged in digital printing printing services. The solution offered is to improve the skills of high school/vocational graduates through digital printing training and marketing their products online.

Abstract

Learning 4.0 refers to 9 IT-based trends and learning. Changes in education gave birth to innovations in the field of education with the aim of improving the quality of education. Information technology as an innovation becomes an educational need. Technology support in the field of education, educators are greatly helped in efforts to improve the quality of learning. The characteristics of mobile devices that have a high degree of flexibility and portability enable students to access material, direction and information related to learning where and at any time. One of them is the use of mobile learning applications. Interactive multimedia applications can be developed into mobile learning applications. The purpose of this study is to produce an application as a learning tool for students of research methods on Android-based smartphones that have material content that is tailored to the SOP of the State University of Padang. This application was developed through the Prototyping development approach with an Android-based Java programming language using the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) of Android Studio. The making of this research resulted in the application of research methods courses as a means of learning for students who had syllabus features, lesson plans, material from units I to X and videos adapted to the syllabus. With the results of the application of learning this research method, it is expected that this application can contribute and provide convenience in the learning process of FPP UNP student research methods.

Abstract

Industrial Revolution 4.0 has provided changes in various aspects of social life, one it’s changed in the Education sector which called by Education 4.0, utilizing information and digital technology as a supporting technology on the educational process, both in administration and learning processes. This effort to adopt this technology into education is also carried out by private education institutions, including MTs. Muhammadiyah (MTs.M) in Solok Regency, which is part of the junior secondary education. As a private educational institution, MTs.M realizes it is very urgent to increase the competitiveness and the quality of its education, which one of it effort is an integration of technology in the learning process called Blended Learning (BL) through the development of Learning Management systems (LMS) used in online learning management. The experimental method is used to see the improvement of teacher knowledge and skills in LMS-based BL which begins with a survey of school readiness and teacher competencies in BL, then continues with the LMS-based BL training activities for 30 teachers from 9 MTs.M. Pre and Post Training Questionnaire design is used in data collection. The results of this research data show an increase in teacher competence in LMS-based BL, with high enthusiasm in developing LMS as a learning system in each MTs.M.

Abstract

Digital technology and the internet have opened opportunities for people to develop social interaction through this technology, with the birth of web technology, media and social networks, which led to the industrial revolution 4.0. This technology presents a new trend in building a business called Digital Marketing (DM). DM provides new opportunities for anyone to do entrepreneurship without being limited by time, place and region. More than a decade of entrepreneurship has become the focus of attention of the government in Education, as one of the ways to reduce national unemployment. Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) answers the entrepreneurship education policy by making Entrepreneurship as a compulsory subject, promoting entrepreneurial student programs and integrated service units for career guidance and entrepreneurship. This paper examines more deeply how DM can be used as an alternative method of entrepreneurship for UNP students, which has direct touching student life as a millennial generation. The experimental method is used to see of improvement the knowledge and skills of students in DM through DM Training and Development of DM eLearning Resources (DMLR). To measure the success of the program, instruments were developed before and after training, as well as a questionnaire to assess the results of the DMLR development. The results of this study showed an increase in student knowledge and skills in DM and a good assessment of the developed DMLR.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk merancang mini server dengan konten pembelajaran digital untuk sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif bagi guru dan siswa sekolah menengah daerah 3T di wilayah Sumatera Barat. Konten pada mini server ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran digital tidak hanya di daerah 3T saja, namun juga dapat digunakan di daerah perkotaan karena alat ini menawarkan akses yang fleksibel tanpa jaringan internet. Latarbelakang inovasi ini adalah ketidaksesuaian antara tuntutan pemerintah yang menginginkan implementasi pembelajaran digital dan online dan implementasi Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer. Namun di sisi lain, sekolah melarang siswa membawa gadget ke sekolah karena khawatir siswa akan mengakses situs dan konten negatif yang tidak relevan dengan pembelajaran. Materi pembelajaran yang disajikan dalam perangkat ini adalah dalam bentuk video, audio, dan berbagai konten yang dikompilasi di situs offline sehingga siswa dapat mengakses menggunakan gadget atau komputer pribadi (PC) tanpa memerlukan koneksi internet. Perancangan sistem pada perangkat ini menggunakan 2 jenis pendekatan, yaitu desain jaringan untuk mini server dan desain sistem pemodelan Unified Modeling Language (UML) untuk sistem yang bekerja pada perangkat sebagai mini server.

Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to uncover the results of a survey study regarding teacher opinions on the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in learning. For this purpose, marker-based cellular augmented reality applications have been developed and computer hardware is used as training material. In addition, teachers are given training for four days to get to know the basics of augmented reality technology, the software used, the environment to create marker-based AR objects. The data was collected through surveys and open-ended questions on teachers who are members of the English MGMP Kab. 50 cities. The tools and technology needed to develop AR and development experience are also shared. According to the survey results teachers are very enthusiastic about using augmented reality in their learning. The result of this article is the perception of the use of Augmented Reality technology for the development of instructional media by English teachers in the positive category.

Abstract

Learning Skin Care is one of the compulsory subjects in the Department of Beauty And Cosmetology FPP UNP. The problems encountered in learning Facial Skin Care are students having difficulty in understanding massage tehnic and problematic facial care techniques with technology. This causes student learning outcomes are relatively low. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive multimedia learning media on Facial Skin Care courses that are practical, valid and effective. This research was conducted in the cosmetology and beauty department of FPP UNP. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method. Interactive multimedia validation of Facial Skin Care courses conducted by material validators and media and language display an average of 3.68% with the category "very valid" Whereas the practicality of interactive multimedia seen from the response of lecturers who get an average of 3.60% and students 3.79%. This shows the interactive multimedia Facial Skin Care, including the category "very practical”

Abstract

This paper describes the differences in learning outcomes in the practice of Microcontroller System using MCS51 Microcontroller Trainer Kit. Trainer Kit The MCS51 microcontroller is tested to Electronics Engineering students who are studying in practice of Microcontroller System. The research method used is quasi experiment. The experimental class uses the MCS51 Microcontroller Trainer Kit as a medium of controlled learning medium using a self-assembled circuit on the Project Board. The results show that the learning outcomes of the exprient class is better than the control class

Abstract

In determining the decision needed an appropriate and fast method. One of them is the method that will be used in this research, the TOPSIS Method. in this case determine the assessment of student kindergarten model will be processed by the method. The first stage is to determine the criteria namely; creative, good manners, flexibility of speech, discipline and honesty. then each criterion is given a weight which is processed by the TOPSIS method. The importance of the criteria is determined by the assessment team or the teacher who is considered an expert here. After the weighting of the criteria evaluation is then conducted a validation test or competency test that determines whether or not the criteria are met. If it is feasible, student data can be made to determine the students' role models. The of student kindergarten are not students who are smart based on academics but rather are characteristic. Where the characteristics of education from an early age is very important to determine the development of a child's soul into a man of good character. From the results of the study as a recommendation to determine the assessment of student kindergarten can use the TOPSIS method. The results of calculations with the topsis method determine the criteria of the student kindergarten, the results are: M. Reyhan (4.009), M. Hilmansyah (1.220), Cindy Clarisa (1.139), Michael (0.560) and Alika (0.516). So that the highest preference in determining pupils or role models is M. Reyhan and the lowest is Alika.
