Abstract

This article presents a systematic literature review using qualitative content analysis, we found that during crisis conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, corporate companies tend to increase dividend payouts compared to the previous year, with the aim of maintaining positive signals to the stock market. There are several factors that influence dividend policy. Factors such as profitability, firm age, and financial leverage have a positive influence on dividend policy, while firm size has a negative influence. In addition, dividend policy is also positively influenced by the previous year's dividend and the level of dividend payments in the previous period.

Abstract

The Evaluation and Adaptation phase in developing the ProTrack application using the Extreme Programming (XP) Method reflects the adaptive approach's success in ensuring the application's quality and relevance as it evolves. The research method involved a structured survey to gather feedback from users and stakeholders, involving 45 respondents from construction company employees. The survey results showed that 78% of the respondents found significant benefits in managing projects through the app's features. Furthermore, the performance and security evaluation process through thorough testing resulted in an 18% decrease in application response time and a 12% increase in data security. The app successfully improved its performance and integrity through cyber risk prevention measures and code optimization. An essential contribution of this research is seen in the successful development and testing of the ProTrack application with XP's adaptive approach to construction project management. The research results provide valuable insights for developers and practitioners in technology and project management, particularly in the face of the complex dynamics of the construction industry. The research generated a deeper understanding of user perceptions and needs by relying on survey feedback data, enabling continuous application improvement. The research confirmed the effectiveness of the XP-based adaptive approach in producing a responsive and effective application solution capable of adapting to rapid changes in the dynamic construction project environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Work From Home on employee performance with the Intervening variable of Work Motivation. The instrument used is a questionnaire to measure the responses of 53 respondents using the saturated sampling method so that all employees of the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Purbalingga Regency are the population. Data collection was carried out for one week, namely April 2023. The independent variables in this study consisted of Work From Home (X), employee performance as the dependent variable and work motivation as the intervening variable. Data analysis to measure direct effect was carried out using multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, F statistical test, and t statistical test. At the same time, the analysis uses path analysis to see the relationship between variables through intervening variables. The results of the partial test analysis showed t-tests 0.518 and 1.938. Meanwhile, the path analysis t-count is 0.058. At the same time, the indirect effect through motivation is 0.262*0.630 = 0.165. The total value of the influence of WFH, directly and indirectly, obtained a total value of 0.223. WFH does not directly affect work motivation and employee performance. While the results of testing the variables through the intervening variable, work motivation, show that there is a significant effect of WFH on employee performance

Abstract

Taxes are a very important source of state revenue besides revenue from natural resources and income from other non-tax sectors. However, the revenue received from the tax sector is not in accordance with what is desired by the state. This happens because there are still interests that encourage individual and corporate taxpayers to minimize their taxes by means of tax avoidance. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of accounting conservatism, capital intensity and leverage on tax avoidance in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2021 period. The independent variables used in this study are accounting conservatism, capital intensity and leverage, while Tax Avoidance is the dependent variable. The sample used in this study was obtained using a purposive sampling method, so that a total of 12 companies were obtained as a sample of 39 companies as a population with 36 observational data for 3 years. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using SPSS 25 software. The results of this study indicate that the accounting conservatism variable partially influences tax avoidance, this results from a coefficient value of 6.965 and a significance value of 0.017 <0.05, causing H1 to be accepted. The capital intensity variable partially influences tax avoidance, this results from a coefficient value of 1.363 and a significance value of 0.011 <0.05, causing H2 to be accepted. Meanwhile, the leverage variable partially has no effect on tax avoidance, this is also obtained from a coefficient value of -0.061 and a significance value of 0.721 > 0.05, causing H3 to be rejected. Meanwhile, the simultaneous results of accounting conservatism, capital intensity and leverage affect tax avoidance.

Abstract

This study examines how the interest rate channel of the monetary policy mechanism affects the Indonesian stock market. This study also seeks to estimate the amplitude of factors inside the interest rate channel in reaction to stock market changes, namely the Indonesia Stock Exchange Composite Index (IHSG). This study uses the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) regression model to determine how much the interest rate channel of the monetary policy transmission mechanism affects the Indonesian stock market (IHSG). This study uses monthly secondary data from 2015 to 2022. The Bank Indonesia website's yearly reports provided this study's secondary data. This study examined the impact of the interest rate channel as a monetary policy transmission mechanism on the stock market (IHSG) using the BI rate, interbank money market interest rate (PUAB), deposit rate, Covid-19, and composite stock price index. The effective interest rate channel shows that Indonesia's monetary policy mechanism affects the stock market (IHSG). This phenomena works immediately and long-term. Interest rate shocks altered IHSG responsiveness. However, the Indonesian Stock Exchange Composite Index (IHSG) is affected by deposit rates and Covid-19 conditions throughout time. Deposit rates affect interest rates and the Indonesian Stock Exchange Composite Index (IHSG).
