Abstract

The problem that is often faced by companies in achieving goals is the poor performance of employees. The purpose of this study is to analyze a model that is expected to improve employee performance by involving emotional intelligence and work discipline with achievement motivation as intervening variables in inpatient nurses at XYZ Hospital . The research method is quantitative by using a questionnaire with an interval scale of 1-10 with a sample of 115 employees from a population of 314 employees to test the five (5) predetermined hypotheses. The sructural equation model-partial least square (SEM-PLS) model was used to test the statistical significance of the path coefficient. The results of this study explain that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on achievement motivation, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and achievement motivation has a positive effect and significant to employee performance.

Abstract

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a condition characterized by repetitive thoughts that encourage sufferers to do repetitive actions with the intention of reducing anxiety. People who experience OCD require assistance from specialist doctors to ensure appropriate treatment and avoid delays in treatment. However, the imbalance between the number of specialist doctors and sufferers can lead to prolonged consultation waiting times. In addition, the high costs incurred for consultations are also an obstacle for sufferers. Therefore, this research aims to develop a system that can diagnose OCD disease using the Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) method. This system was designed on a website-based platform using the Python programming language with the help of the Flask framework and MySQL as the database. It is expected that this system will help people who experience OCD in the process of diagnosing OCD disorde

Abstract

Earthquakes are vibrations that occur on the earth's surface due to the sudden release of energy from within the earth that creates seismic waves. Earthquakes are usually caused by movement of the earth's crust (plates). The frequency of an area, refers to the type and size of earthquakes experienced over a period of time. Often with the development of technology, it provides a solution to minimize the impact of earthquake events. For this reason, an earthquake warning alarm is needed as an early warning and anticipation of the community when an earthquake occurs. Therefore, researchers made a tool which uses the Accelerometer sensor and arduino nano as a controller and is accompanied by the blynk application as an earthquake early warning notification sent via smartphone. This tool is processed using an Arduino Nano microcontroller as a controlling component. The working system of this tool uses an 8 Volt lithium battery installed in series as a voltage source, which will be reduced to 5 Volts with a stepdown module, because by using a battery voltage of 8 Volts and coupled with a lot of load, the Arduino Regulator IC will experience overheating or heat up quickly. This tool has been successfully designed with manual testing to be able to see the sensitivity of the earthquake sensor made, by utilizing seismic waves that arise due to ground movement. This tool successfully detects earthquakes with horizontal and vertical vibrations, and this tool is quite effective because it does not detect vibrations generated in the surrounding environment. Based on the tests carried out, at an accelerometer sensor tilt angle of 90o the system reads an earthquake strength of around 7-10 Richter Scale (SR) with a WASPADA status

Abstract

This research applies clustering method with K-Means algorithm to analyze voter preferences and predict campaign outcomes based on voter and candidate characteristics in the context of political elections. By collecting and processing data on age, education, occupation, and candidate preferences, we apply K-Means to cluster voters into groups with similar patterns. The cluster results reveal similar political views and candidate preferences within each group of voters. By correlating the cluster results with previous election data, we are able to predict campaign outcomes with an accuracy that is beneficial for more careful and effective campaign strategies. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the use of clustering methods in the context of political elections and its relevance in formulating successful campaign strategies.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is that low work performance can be caused by a lack of training and development which is considered not optimal. This can be seen from the decline in his performance at PT. Industri Pembungkus Internasional from 2018-2020. Employees do not complete work on time optimally so that their performance decreases. The method in this research is quantitative. The population in this study, namely employees, a sample of 42 respondents. The data sources in this study are primary data and secondary data. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of multiple regression analysis are Y= 1.304 + 0.627X1 + 0.428X2 + e which shows training and career development have a positive and significant effect on work performance. While the results of partial test show that training has a positive and significant effect on work performance, the t-count value is 4.637>t-table 2.022 and the career development variable also has a positive and significant effect on work performance, the t-count value is 3.177>t-table 2.022. The coefficient of determination is 0.688. 68.8% variation of the dependent variable namely training and career development in the model can explain the variable Job Achievement at PT. IPI while the remaining 31.2% is influenced by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

Running text is a promotional and information billboard made by LED. It can be programmed by using a computer to display text, images, and animations. Running text makes people interested to read some message because a color of the lights and animation. For wide location such as campuses, airports and many more place, several running texts are needed. It’s difficult to change some message manually one by one. It will spend energy and time. To solve the problem, this research was conducted to create a system to display of messages on three running texts centrally using a multihop LoRa wireless network. Each running text board consists of four P10 panel boards, an ESP 32 as a microcontroller, and a LoRa SX1276 as a sender and receiver. Message setting is done from a computer connected to the Gateway or from an android phone via Telegram bot. The results are LoRa power 10 dBm, distance between nodes can be reached 110 m. The amount of round-trip time (RTT) for point to point is 103 ms and for two hops of 1221 ms. The length of the message that can be sent 256 characters with the character patterns available in the DMD 32 library. This system is very suitable to support areas where internet is not available. The signal emitted by LoRa is Line of sight for achieve maximum coverage. The antenna between the nodes must be installed facing without obstruction

Abstract

Several companies, including those in the finance industry, have seen a drop in employee performance. Stagnation in leadership and training models has decreased performance indicators. This study aims to figure out how a transformational leadership style and training affect the performance of PT Adira Multifinance Tbk. Employees, with job satisfaction as a mediator. The quantitative method was used by giving questionnaires to 35 office workers at the Yogyakarta branch of PT Adira Multifinance Tbk. This was accomplished via quota sampling. Directly collected data were analyzed using simple and multivariate linear regression. So, human resources are an essential part of corporate governance, and PT Adira Multifinance Tbk in Yogyakarta needs them to be successful. Confirmation of the hypothesis suggests transformational leadership and employee training partially affect employee performance. In addition, transformational leadership styles and employee training partially affect employee satisfaction. Lastly, tests done simultaneously showed that transformational leadership styles improve employee performance by making employees happier, and employee training improves employee performance by making employees happier. As a result, the whole hypothesis was accepted, and a significance value of 0.05 was used to test it. The better the transformational leadership model and job training in a company, the greater job satisfaction there will be, which will have implications for improving performance.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the ratings and reviews of hotels in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia to understand the quality of hotels in Labuan Bajo. Data was collected from a popular online travel booking platform and pre-processed to exclude hotels with less than 10 reviews. K-means clustering was used to identify the optimum number of clusters, which was found to be 3, based on the elbow method. Cronbach alpha analysis was also performed with a value of 0.92, indicating a high level of reliability in the data. Correlation analysis was then performed on each cluster, revealing positive correlations between cleanliness, location, and facilities with overall satisfaction in cluster 0, and negative correlations between cleanliness, service, and value for money with overall satisfaction in cluster 1. The findings from this study imply that further improvement is necessary to meet the expectations of travelers in terms of service, value for money, and cleanliness in hotels located in Labuan Bajo.
