This study aims to determine the effect of the communication climate on the performance of employees, to determine the effect of organizational cultural values on the performance of Moestopo University employees and to determine the effect of the communication climate and organizational cultural values on the performance of Moestopo University employee. This research uses a quantitative approach and the results of the research are carried out by using multiple correlation tests, multiple linear regression tests and T tests. In testing the hypothesis, climax of Organizational Communication partially have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Organizational Culture partially has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Based on the results of the simultaneous test obtained the Organizational Communication Climate and Organizational Culture simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The percentage contribution of the independent variable (Organizational Communication Climate and Organizational Culture) to the dependent variable (employee performance) has a power of 65.4% or the variation of the independent variables used in the model (Organizational Communication Climate and Organizational Culture) able to explain 65.4% of the dependent variable (employee performance ) While the determination coefficient value is 0.654 which is closer to number 1, it can be concluded that the level of the relationship is quite strong.

This research focuses on the activities of the PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok Public Relations Campaign on Covid-19 Response in the Tanjung Priok Port Area. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning of the Covid-19 Response Campaign carried out by the Public Relations of PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok and what media were used in the campaign process. The theory used in this research is the 4 Steps Of Public Relations from Cutlip and also the concept of 10 Stages Of Campaign Planning. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative with a constructivist paradigm. Data collection in this study was carried out by means of observation and in-depth interviews with informants who were involved in the process of implementing the Covid-19 Response Campaign with the object of PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok. The results of research from the Covid-19 Response Campaign carried out several stages in a comprehensive manner by forming a Covid Management Team together with the K3L and HR divisions. Considering the situation during the pandemic which limited activities outside the home, the Covid-19 Response Campaign was carried out by utilizing digital media such as Websites, Social Media, and the company's main internal channel, namely E-Office.

The aim of this paper is to investigate how migration (marantau) culture is constructed in oral literature of Minangkabau, the worlds largest matrilineal society. A well known Malin Kundang oral literature is used as a source of analysis. By using literature sociological approach, and descriptive-criticism method, analysis of the texts, produced by Minangkabau matrifocal society, shows the weak relationship between a mother and her son. Moreover, it is used as educative media for Minangkabau people, who have implemented migration concepts as a part of the implementations of their matrilineal Adat (customary laws).The text also contains advices for Minangkabau migrants to never forget the Adat and native land despite the fact that their have migrated and adapted to rantau culture. The punishment for Malin Kundang, the main character of this oral literature, which has been cursed into stone by his own mother, can be taken as a representation of motherlands punishment for the migrants who have faced cultural shock, and forgotten the main purpose of their migration mission. It is expected by the Adat that Minangkabau men do marantau activities just for temporarily in order to gain prosperity and wisdom before going back to participate in developing their the homeland.

Film is an effective mass communication media in conveying various kinds of messages. From the aspect of communication, films have many advantages compared to other media because they are presented in an audio-visual form. Possessive films are interesting to study because they highlight forms of dating violence that are still underestimated and different from other teen films that have been circulating in the market. Researchers conducted in-depth research and found dating violence was in the first position. This study wanted to reveal the form of violence against women in dating in possessive films. The theory used to support this research is Charles Sanders Peirce's Semiotic Analysis to analyze the meaning of signs, objects, and interpretants in each scene of violence that is displayed. This research uses descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach and uses a critical paradigm. Data collection techniques using documentation study and literature study and supported by triangulation. The results of the analysis in possessive films show that there are forms of violence against women in dating as well as gender bias which has always characterized women as weak and dependent on men until now.

The purpose of the research is to describe the ideology and political activities of Buya Hamka. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods and critical analysis. The theory used in this study is Teun A. Van Dijks Critical Discourse Analysis. The paradigm of this research is critical. The qualitative research approach, the type and format of descriptive research, is the object of research in the novel HAMKA: A Novel Biography written by Haidar Musyafa while the research subjects are Ideology and Political Activities which are discussed in the book. Data collection techniques carry out critical linguistic methods, in-depth interviews, and literature studies, data analysis techniques using source triangulation. The results of the study show that the novel HAMKA: A Novel Biography written by Haidar Musyafa discusses Hamkas ideology, pan-Islamism. But Hamkas dialectical process towards his ideology, the interesting process of Hamkas ideology, such as Hamkas intersection with communism, even to the point where he had sung communist marches like the International with his friends in Java, was not described in the novel.

From several reality show programs in Indonesian television, there was 86 program on NET TV. Almost 3 years this program broadcast, and describe some story about Indonesian Police activity. From AC Nielsen index, 86 has a rating value 1,2% and share 4,9%. This means that the program still has many viewers (audience). This paper will argue that delivering such news in such a way by mass media especially television has the ability to shift attitude of the large audience simultaneously. The element of program success theory from Morissan will be used together with a quantitative approach, and survey through stratified sampling among the residents of Cipulir. It was found that the Impact 86 NET TV toward audience attitude is has 45,7% possitive effect.

This research is motivated use of cyberspace or online activities in providing public information services, especially of the 4.0 era which raises the issue of fakenews and the needs quickly information. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Badan Kepegawian Negara public relations strategy in improving the quality of public information services in the 4.0 era. The research method used is a qualitative with descriptive study analysis by collecting data through interviews. Concepts used are government public relations, cyber public relations quality, public services, 7-C public relations strategies and computer mediated communication. Research results show that BKN public relations have done a study of information service 4.0 in the use of cyber public relations websites, social media such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and canal complaints that is LaporBKN!. Cyber public relations strategies to improve service quality by adjusting the audience, infographics and schemes, packaging messages according to the audience, publishing with audio visual, polling public information services as an evaluation with the use of cyber public relations. Based on the results of research that the service with the use of cyber public relations run by BKN public relations is already good.

This study aims to determine the advertisement of A Mild version of " Mula Mula Malu Malu Lama Lama Mau " to build or construct the reality of adolescent lifestyles after being studied with semiotics belonging to Ferdinand de Saussure. The theory used by the author in conducting this research is the Semiotics theory of Ferdinand de Saussure with the Constructivism research Paradigm using a Qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the meaning is created through the existence of arbitrary relationships between markers (signifier) as a description of the word with a sign (signified) which is a description of the concept of the audience's mind so that the negative meaning is created. Writing language is identified as a marker (signifier) because the writing language in this advertisement also contains emotional persuasive meaning that contains elements of sexuality. Visual design elements are identified by the author as signified because through this unit the concept picture is obtained by the audience so that the emergence of such meaning is implied through the gesture of the visual elements of the ad, namely male and female figures

Political communication through advertising on the media focuses on hard selling Just as with commercial advertising, the purpose of political advertising is to persuade and motivate voters to choose a particular candidate.This study analyzes the political ads of the Ahok-DJarot couples in the Jakarta Pilgub 2017. The purpose of this research is to know semiotic analysis from political advertisement to 2 candidate and imaging on this advertisement. .The process of processing the data of this research method is done by Using semiotic analysis techniques (semiotic analysis) is to reveal the meaning in the political ads to the 3 candidates. Using the semiotic analysis approach model used is Roland Bartes's semiotics theory. Namely Connotation and Deontation. The result of this research is the meaning of every political advertisement of the candidate of cawagub candidate of DKI Jakarta 2017. Ahok-Djarot in his political advertisement means that the lifting of the people of Jakarta in the event of riots in 1998, which was raised by Muslim, a group of Groups that create riots, and divide the unity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia.

Communication as an interaction process that can be of effective value requires collaboration to support changes in a place. communication is very important and used by humans in the exchange of experiences and ideas, and that is what triggers the delivery of knowledge and perceptions of various types. Therefore, communication is a core element in changing strategies to drive change. In the new era of the world of communication, a development communication paradigm emerged that involved participatory communication processes to decision making. Communication is needed to support development that involves the community to understand each other's agreed understandings for the progress of a place. involvement and role of the community is needed in the implementation or implementation of development programs.
