Abstract

The purpose of this research was to ascertain the impact of motivation, educational attainment, and financial incentives on students majoring in Islamic Banking at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic University Satu Tulungagung's desire in pursuing a career in the Islamic banking sector. The sort of associative research used in this study is approached quantitatively. The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business's student body of 87 respondents from the study sample of students majoring in Islamic Banking was utilized to gather the research's data. The validity and reliability test, normality test, traditional assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t-test (partial), F test (simultaneous), and coefficient of determination test (R2) are the data analysis techniques employed. The study's findings indicate that (1) motivation has a favorable and considerable impact on career interest in the Islamic banking sector, both partly and concurrently. (2) A person's educational background has a favorable and substantial impact on their desire in a job in the Islamic banking sector. (3) Financial benefits considerably and favorably influence career interest in the Islamic banking sector. (4) Interest in a job in the Islamic banking sector is favorably and considerably influenced by motivation, educational background, and financial appreciation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the service quality, customer loyalty, and price and product quality of Alfamart Raya Sukodono. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observations. The results of this study are Friendly and responsive service quality provided by Alfamart Raya Sukodono is an important factor in influencing customer loyalty. Good service creates customer trust and comfort, motivating them to remain loyal and shop again at Alfamart Raya Sukodono. High customer loyalty at Alfamart Raya Sukodono results from a combination of several factors such as friendly and responsive service, attractive loyalty programs, and promotional activities. involving customers. then also Alfamart Raya Sukodono managed to offer its customers affordable prices and good product quality. The emphasis on competitive prices and adequate quality attracts customers who are looking for the best value in their shopping experience. By providing quality products at competitive prices, Alfamart Raya Sukodono maintains customer satisfaction and strengthens long-term relationships with them.

Abstract

In the context of education, the achievement of learning outcomes has an important role as an indicator of the effectiveness of the learning process. This study aims to examine the role of organizational commitment as a mediating factor in the influence of teacher competence and work ethic on learning outcomes. This study involved 31 instructors as the study population and used a quantitative approach with the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tool. The research findings show that: (1) teacher competence has no significant effect on learning outcomes, (2) teacher competence has a significant effect on organizational commitment, (3) work discipline has no significant effect on organizational commitment, (4) work discipline has an influence significant effect on organizational commitment, (5) organizational commitment has a significant impact on learning outcomes, and (6) teacher competence directly influences learning outcomes through work discipline factors and organizational commitment which are closely interrelated.

Abstract

Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo Islamic Boarding School is one of the largest Islamic boarding schools in the East Java region, located on Jl. Kyai Zaini Mun'im in Karanganyar Village, Paiton, Probolinggo, founded by KH. Zaini Mun'im, in 1948 one of the Islamic boarding schools that implemented the modern system. However, they still apply the old pattern by accepting updates without changing the teachings of the Qur'an and Al-Hadith. With the guidance that he directs to the surrounding community, little by little, they learn to understand the importance of religious knowledge. This study aims to analyze the management strategy of Islamic boarding schools in tackling students' illegal money in transactions conducted at the Nurul Jadid Paiton Islamic Boarding School, Probolinggo. Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo has implemented the use of E-Provision services for students or digital money since early 2017. This research uses qualitative case study research conducted through observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out through data presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. The results of the study show that Nurul Jadid students still use cash in transactions, so Nurul Jadid students need help to manage daily financial expenses determined by their parents; each of them exceeds the limit set in the student's E-Bekal. However, E-Provision management has provided good facilities, served as well as possible and served extra to overcome problems and help provide satisfaction for students and guardians.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions of students who take Compulsory Curriculum Courses (MKWK) courses on the application of Case Based Learning by MKWK lecturers at Tanjungpura University, especially in Indonesian Language, Islamic Religion, Catholicism, Citizenship Education, and Pancasila courses. This study applied a qualitative descriptive method with semi-structured interview data collection techniques. Using thematic data analysis techniques, this study succeeded in revealing students' perceptions of the application of the CBL learning model in MKWK lectures. They experienced a learning process in the form of affordability of knowledge towards skills, activeness in class, feelings of anxiety and a sense of empowerment, as well as professional understanding and understanding of community life. Overall students respond positively to the application of the CBL learning model.

Abstract

This research started with the absence of a place for students to channel their talents and interests when they were at Islamic boarding schools. Entrepreneurship education is very important as a provision for students when they become alumni. This study aims 1) To find out the types of entrepreneurship developed at the Al-Karimiyyah Islamic Boarding School 2) How is the process of entrepreneurship education to improve the life skills of students 3) To know the values of entrepreneurship at Al-Karimiyyah Islamic Boarding School Bodak West Lombok, Central Lombok. This research is a qualitative research, the data collection used is observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, which is an interactive model analysis with the steps: data collection, data condensation, data display, and data verification. The results showed 1) Entrepreneurship Education in Al-Karimiyyah Islamic Boarding School Bodak West Lombok, Central Lombok is divided into 5 types of entrepreneurship, including: catering, animal husbandry, plantation, handicrafts and printing. 2) The process of entrepreneurship education and life skills has been running smoothly and is developing due to the support and cooperation of all Islamic boarding schools. 3) Entrepreneurial values seen in improving the life skills of students at Al-Karimiyyah Islamic Boarding School Bodak West Lombok, Central Lombok include: a) . Honest and trustworthy b). Creative c). Professional d). dynamic e). Cooperation f). hard work g). Responsible h). Persevere and tenacious.

Abstract

There is a problem in teaching vocabulary, namely many students do not master vocabulary well, so many people misunderstand. Errors include writing Arabic letters and correct vocabulary. This problem is caused by some teachers who do not apply teaching steps in accordance with existing theory. Meanwhile, it poses a problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the picture card method in understanding vocabulary, as well as in its translation at Islamic School Insan Cendekia Payakumbuh. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods, namely experimental research which was experimental research in schools with a quasy semi experimental design research with the pretest-posttest one group design type.Based on the results of the research as follows: First, the value group for the students' ability to know the understanding of vocabulary from the pre-test in the entire experimental semester is 1709 (∑X). The researcher found the largest value to be 75 and the smallest to be 38, with a mean of 58.93. Also, the researcher found the results of the students from the post-examination in the seventh semester. It is depicted that the whole number is 29 students (N)), and the result from the group value of the ability of students to know the understanding of vocabulary from the pre-test in the entire experimental class is 2172 (∑X). The researcher found the largest value 86 and the smallest value 56 with a mean of 74.89. Secondly, the researcher also found the students' results from the translation of vocabulary in pre-examination in the control class at Islamic School Insan Cendekia Payakumbuh. It is depicted that the whole number is 29 students (N), and the result of the group value of the ability of students to know the translation of vocabulary from the pre-exam in the control class as a whole is 1608 (∑X). The researcher found the largest value 73 and the smallest value 30 with a mean of 55.44.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren is one of the Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. Islamic boarding schools in historical records initially oriented themselves solely to religious education. But in its development, Islamic boarding schools do not remain silent, Islamic boarding schools continue to innovate so that they can adapt themselves according to the demands of the times. To maintain its existence in a global world with the demands of ever-changing times, Islamic boarding schools as Islamic educational institutions must be able to open themselves to the changes that occur, without having to abandon their main role as an Islamic educational institution that broadcasts religious teachings. The purpose of this research is To find out the role of the Jabal Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in social change from the aspects of religion, education and form social change from the aspect of religion and education in society. The type of research method used is a qualitative research method with the aim of obtaining data in the form of written or oral descriptions of the subject of observation, while the data collection procedures used by researchers are interviews, observation, and documentation. The role of the Jabal Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in social change from the religious aspect of the community is with a religious education system that is adapted to the needs of the community around the Islamic boarding school, so that it can provide output for students and alumni of Jabal Hikmah Islamic Boarding School graduates who can contribute and play a role in providing change from aspects of community religion through religious activities carried out in the community, leading the community in all forms of religious activities. Jabal Hikmah Islamic Boarding School by opening four formal educational institutions namely Raudatul Athfal, Islamic Junior High School, and Madrasah Aliyah Plus Skills provides and makes it easier for people to be able to get education.

Abstract

Inheritance according to Islamic law regulates the principles of inheritance, terms and pillars of inheritance, heirs, and arrangements regarding the amount of inheritance received by heirs. Fundamentally related to inheritance matters have been regulated in Islamic law, but in reality not all Muslims share the inheritance with reference to the provisions regarding the distribution of inheritance in the fiqh Mawaris. Customs and habits that grow in a person's social environment, become the reason that person is bound by a law. Such as Minangkabau customary inheritance law is one area that still uses customary law as a reference for the division of inheritance. The matrilineal inheritance distribution system makes the position of the woman's party higher in terms of inheritance portion than the male's. Whereas in the syar'i texts and in what has been taught the portion of men is twice as large as women. The acceptance of custom or urf as a proposition is a form of Islamic law's attention to the customs that apply in society. Meanwhile, related to the rule of al-adah muhakkamah with custom or urf there is a dispute with the syar'i text. This journal writing method uses a normative juridical type of writing, which is a research method that uses studies and explanations in laws and materials that contain law to regulate the legal issues studied.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the method of learning Arabic in the Madrasah Aliyah Labolatorium UINSU Medan by using a type of field research with qualitative research method, which is the object of research for Arabic subject teachers and the methods used in learning Arabic. The method used at the Madrasah Aliyah Labolatorium UINSU is tu use various method and adapt tu the material to be tought and also the methods that are commonly used, namerly the group discussion method, demonstration method, field trip method and translation method. The method used was implemented well an made it easier for students at the Madrasah Aliyah Labolatorium UINSU to understand the lessons conveyed by the teacher. The importence of using methods and choosing metgots that are appropriate to the material ti be taught in learning Arabic will make it easier for students to understand learning and create affective an efficient learning.
