Abstract

The low vocabulary mastery of students in learning Arabic requires solutions and alternatives, one of which is using pocket mufrodat learning media. This study aims to design and describe the feasibility level of mufrodat pocket media in learning Arabic. The research method used is development research, using a Research and Development (R&D) approach. The subjects of the research trial consisted of two material experts and two media experts, as well as 20 class IX students at SMP IT Ummi Ayuni Perbaungan Academic Year 2022/2023. Data analysis techniques for the feasibility of the media using quantitative descriptive analysis. The processing results of this study indicate that the mufrodat pocket media in learning Arabic is considered appropriate by material experts with an average overall score of 78%, and the assessment by media experts as a whole gets an average score of 83% with a very decent category. Furthermore, student assessments in field trials as a whole got an average score of 80% in the very high category. From these results, the developed mufrodat pocket media can be used by teachers and students, especially class IX, SMP IT Ummi Ayuni Perbaungan. It is also recommended for Arabic teachers to utilize mufrodat pocket media as media in learning Arabic at school.

Abstract

Running a private special school has its own difficulties, particularly when it comes to budget management. The effectiveness of an educational institution's financial management will undoubtedly have an influence on raising educational standards. The goal of this study is to examine how special schools handle their finances to raise educational standards. A case study methodology was employed in this qualitative research project at one of the private special schools in West Sumatra's Tanjung Raya sub-district. The foundation's director, the principal, and the treasurer served as the study's subjects. This study employed a variety of data gathering techniques, including documentation, interviews, and observation. The data was then examined via conclusion drawing, data reduction, and data display. According to the findings of this research, Tanjung Raya Special School has not implemented the planning, organizing, executing, and monitoring phases of financial management to their fullest potential. However, principals, teachers, and staff collaborate to manage school funding in order to raise educational standards in terms of infrastructure, amenities, and teacher welfare. Abstract

Volcanic activity produces eruptions that release pyroclastic material at the time of the explosion. Mount Singgalang is a volcano that has experienced an eruption after 1600. Several types of volcanic rocks around the Mount Singgalang area are Basalt, Andesite, Tuff Breccia, Lava Breccia, and Pumice Tuff. Pumice is formed when saturated liquid magma gas bursts like a carbonated beverage and soon cools, causing the froth that results to solidify into a glass full of gas bubbles. Some minerals contained in pumice are obsidian, cristobalite, feldspar, and tridymite. Pumice contains magnetic minerals, namely ilmenite (FeTiO3), and magnetite (Fe3O4). The purpose of this study is to quantify the magnetic susceptibility and quantity of pumice on Mount Singgalang in West Sumatera. When utilizing the Bartington Magnetic Susceptibility Meter to analyze a sample, magnetic susceptibility parameters are utilized to pinpoint the features of a magnetic rock mineral. The value of the magnetic susceptibility of pumice on Mount Singgalang, in West Sumatera has a value that varies between 2763.3 x 10-8m3/kg - 2192.1 x 10-8m3/kg. The results showed that the tested samples had antiferromagnetic magnetic mineral properties with frequency-dependent susceptibility values (χfd), indicating that all of the measured samples contained almost no superparamagnetic (SP) grains and were generally dominated by multi-domain (MD) grains.

Abstract

Broad and complex biology topics require electronic learning media such as Scola to assist students in learning. Student responses are important to know in the use of IT systems as an evaluation. The aim of this study was to find out the value of ATU and BI values in the use of Scola, the correlation between ATU and BI in students using Scola in biology learning at DEK High School. The type of this study was descriptive correlation with a quantitative approach conducted at DEK SMA. The sample of this research consisted of 48 students using the total sampling technique. The data analysis used was the Pearson Product Moment correlation test and the t test and it was found that the data were normally distributed. The results showed that Attitude Toward Using was 72% with high criteria. Behavioral Intention was 74% with high criteria, and the correlation between ATU and BI had a value of r = 0.74 (strong correlation) this means that there is a positive correlation and the t test results obtained tcount = 7.37 which is greater than ttable = 1.67. Dealing with the results of the study, it can be concluded that ATU has a significant positive correlation to BI in students who use Scola in biology learning at DEK Senior High School.
