Manazhim Journal is an interdisciplinary publication of original research and writing on islamic education management. This journal was published by Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MPI) STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok - NTB which was published twice in a year (biannualy), February and August with a minimum of 5 articles. The journal aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of the field of education and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills. Scientific manuscript dealing with Islamic education management science topics are particularly welcome to be submitted.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to know the implementation of the Rabbani method in learning of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an at the Al-Ikhlas Taliwang Modern Islamic Boarding School and Nurul Haramain NW Narmada Modern Islamic Boarding School, the obstacles and solutions. This research was qualitative research with multi-site study design. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Determination of informants used purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used interactive analysis techniques by Miles Hubermen and Saldana. The results of the research showed that: 1) Implementation of the Rabbani method in learning of tahfidz Al-Qur'an at Al-Ikhlas Taliwang Modern Islamic Boarding School and Nurul Haramain NW Narmada Modern Islamic Boarding School for females agreed with steps and stages contained in the instructions of use of the Rabbbani method, 2) Internal obstacles: the students did not master makharijul huruf and tajwid, forgot, and did not focus. External obstacles: the difficulty in distinguishing the similar verses, the difficulty in dividing the time and the limited number of teachers who master the Rabbani method. 3) Solutions: providing of motivation, internal approach, reading improvement (tahsin) of Al-Qur'an, tahfidz contact book, delivering the memorization (tasmi'), memorization repetition (muraja'ah), training of the Rabbani method, study visits, and taking notes on similar verses.

Abstract

Nyongkolan is one of the processions in a series of wedding traditions of the Sasak tribe of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. As a culture that is preserved in the midst of a majority Muslim community, the tradition of Nyongkolan which is carried out with great fanfare, in the form of a bridal procession escorted by the family and community as well as a musical group is interpreted as part of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad where a marriage must be witnessed and also contains the value of friendship. However, there are several conditions where the implementation of Nyongkolan as a whole violates Islamic teachings, such as the clothes used, the situation where men and women are mixed, as well as the music, singing and dancing that are performed. This study aims to find out the perspectives of Muslim students regarding the implementation of the Nyongkolan tradition. whether in accordance with Islamic values and teachings or not, and must be preserved or not. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative involving 280 students of FKIP University of Mataram batch 2022 as research subjects using a random sampling technique. The results of the study found that 100% of Muslim students stated that the Nyongkolan tradition was not in accordance with Islamic law, 92% stated that the Nyongkolan tradition could be carried out and preserved with the condition that the clothing used complies with Islamic rules, men and women are separated, music is replaced with drums or tambourines, as well as singing and dancing or dancing abolished. Meanwhile, 8% of students stated that the Nyongkolan tradition should be abolished because it is difficult to change according to the provisions of Islamic teachings. The implication of this research is that it can be concluded that Muslim students have a fairly good understanding of Islamic teachings, both with regard to values, morals and understand how to analyze how far a tradition is considered in accordance with Islamic teachings or not. This research is expected to be used as a consideration for the implementation of the next Nyongkolan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze religious character education using bibliometric analysis on the Scopus database. Bilbiometric analysis is a popular method for analyzing scientific data. This article discusses religious character education which is concretely based on the values of the teachings of each religion and the implementation of religious character education that can be carried out in schools, families and communities synergistically in shaping the religious character of students and in this article uses bilbiometric analysis which uses Scopus indexed journal on the development of religious character education studies: Bilbiometric analysis on the Scopus database. The purpose of the bilbiometric analysis in this study was to find out the top 5 year developments related to the development of religious character education studies. Specifically, this article aims to find out the development of religious character education literature from 2018 to 2022, major journals, authors, affiliates, countries and documents in the field of character education, trending topics related to religious character education, classifications and future character education topics that will provide more research opportunities. Data collected from the Scopus database using the keyword "religious character education". The author uses bilbioshiny software to analyze and visualize the database that has been obtained. The results of this study indicate that the citation analysis shows the number of citations per year from 2018-2022, namely 1,102 documents. Keane, W is a researcher who has the greatest productivity, namely 78 citations.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model for implementing merdeka belajar (i.e., freedom to learn; independent learning) through digital-based entrepreneurship development practices in the entrepreneurship-supporting industry during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research uses a design-based research method, which is divided into 4 stages, namely: identification and problem analysis, development of program prototypes, program prototype trial and implementarion, and reflection on the design principles. This study focuses on the second stage, which is developing merdeka belajar prototypes through digital entrepreneurship practices using reverse design. The research subjects in this study were students studying humanities and social science majors at the University of Mataram, who were all taken using purposive sampling. In addition, business actors were also involved as informants. The research instrument used observation sheets, project-based assessments, and interviews. Data from the results of the study were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that there are three components in the implementation of merdeka belajar through digital-based entrepreneurial practices, namely; digital-based business design; digital-based batik entrepreneurial products; and digital-based jewelry entrepreneurial products. Students are able to develop products and product-marketing innovations through digital marketing by utilizing various online platforms so that they can support the existence of their business during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of TPACK on teacher performance, 2) the effect of spiritual intelligence on teacher performance, and 3) the effect of TPACK and spiritual intelligence on teacher performance. This type of research is quantitative research with the Ex-Post Facto method. The population in this study were all teachers at SMA and MA Negeri in Payakumbuh, totaling 493 people. Sampling used a proportional stratified random sampling technique using the Slovin formula. The number of samples in this study were 221 teachers at all State Senior High Schools and State Senior High Schools in Payakumbuh City. The research instrument uses angles. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires using the Google form application and the link was shared via WhatsApp. Data analysis techniques were performed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that: 1) there is an effect of TPACK on the performance of teachers in SMA and MA Negeri in Payakumbuh City. This is evidenced by the t-count value of the TPACK variable (X1) on teacher performance (Y) which is greater than the t-table (8,591 > 1,984), 2) there is an influence of spiritual intelligence on teacher performance at State Senior High Schools and State MAs in Payakumbuh City. This is evidenced by the t-count value of the spiritual intelligence variable (X2) on teacher performance (Y) which is greater than the t-table (6,487 > 1,984), 3) there is an influence between TPACK (and spiritual intelligence together on teacher performance in State Senior High Schools and State MAs in Payakumbuh City. This is evidenced by the value of the F-count analysis of the TPACK regression variable (X1) and spiritual intelligence (X2) on teacher performance (Y) which is greater than the F-table (260.079 > 3.00).

Abstract

The low quality of education in Indonesia is actually a discussion that has existed for a long time, but until now the problem of education quality has not been resolved. Quality education is the hope and demand of all education stakeholders. Everyone will certainly prefer to study at institutions that have good quality. On this basis, madrasas/educational institutions must be able to provide good service and quality so that they are not left behind and are able to compete with other institutions. This study used a qualitative approach, data were collected by interviews and observations with documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data condensation, data presentation and data verification. This research resulted in (1) Quality improvement management planning at the Nurmadani NW Montong Lisung Islamic Boarding School based on national education standards, but in this study it only examined one of these national education standards, namely education staff standards. (2) The organization of quality improvement management at the Nurmadani NW Montong Lisung Islamic Boarding School is in accordance with the organizational structure because each administrator works according to their respective duties and functions. (3) Motivation in carrying out quality improvement management at the Nurmadani NW Montong Lisung Islamic Boarding School by fostering mastery of the material, mastering the media, improving teacher quality, and providing media is a form of motivational encouragement carried out by the head of the madrasa to his teachers and giving rewards or awards to principals and teachers who carry out their duties properly. (4) the valuation at the Nurmadani NW Montong Lisung Islamic Boarding School is carried out through work meetings or deliberations which are held every 6 months and at the end of the school year involving all concerned at the Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out what the strategies improve of communication skill in PAI (Islamic Religious Learning) learning at SMKN (Public Vocational High School) 1 Praya. The type of this research was field research with a qualitative approach. The data analysis method used was qualitative data analysis of interactive model from Miles and Huberman which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that the strategies used in developing skills students in PAI learning are by using a student-centered learning approach (Student Centered Learning) or a scientific approach , presentation and discussion learning methods. The scientific approach is an approach that directs students to be able to think logically and systematically based on scientific rules and frameworks. The scientific approach is a learning approach as an implementation of the Student Centered Learning approach . Where students are given full opportunity to be active in learning and the teacher is only a facilitator. The presentation learning method is an activity of speaking in front of the class to convey information or subject matter. The discussion method is a way of presenting learning by providing opportunities for students to hold scientific conversations so that students fully participate in learning. From the results of the research that has been described, the implications of this research related to strategies for improving communication skills are: Implications for teaching methods of teachers vary, depending on what soft skills are developed. Fostering a culture of high professionalism among educational institutions and educational staff. Such as: the ability to choose and apply learning methods properly according to the learning objectives to be achieved, create interesting learning content, have good personal and social attitudes, be disciplined, and have high integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership model and communication patterns of the chairman of the foundation in developing the performance of school principals and teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The informants in this study were foundation heads, school principals, teachers, education staff, and the development team. Data analysis techniques by means of coding. The results of the study found that: (1) The efforts of the chairman of the foundation in improving the performance of school principals and teachers at the East Lombok Khairurrosyidin Foundation are by applying a transformational leadership model and planning all school programs in a participatory and coordinative manner, solving problems and making decisions together, leading and mobilizing subordinates objectively, using formal and informal power, disposing tasks proportionally, building solidarity, setting an example, building transparency, encouraging continuation of studies, conducting comparative studies, education and training, assisting problem solving, and providing rewards. (2) The pattern of communication used by the chairman of the foundation in improving the performance of school principals and teachers at the East Lombok Khairurrosyidin Foundation is direct or face-to-face communication using oral methods accompanied by writing and supported by persuasive communication so that there is harmony between formal and informal communication.

Abstract

Nature or the environment cannot be separated from the social life of society. The actualization of environmental fiqh education (fiqh al-bi'ah) in society is considered capable of minimizing problems in forest area environmental cases. This research aims to find out about understanding public to draft education jurisprudence environment (Fiqh Al- bi'ah) in society area forest Village Gang, education jurisprudence environment conducted in schools/madrasah and analyze actualization education Fiqh Al- bi'ah in society area forest Village Gang. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The community already has awareness and is able to properly manage the forest area environment in accordance with Islamic teachings and applicable regulations. This study concludes, the actualization of environmental law education (fiqh al-bi'ah) in the forest area community of Genggelang Village includes: First, Understanding of the Forest Area Community Village Gangbang To Draft Jurisprudence Environment (Fiqh Al- Bi'ah ), As for what is obtained , researchers find a number of perspective about understanding public to draft education jurisprudence environment ie Perspective public intellectual or educated is society that has base education from medium on until college high . Then own more knowledge in field general nor religion. Second, Fiqh Education Environment in Schools /Madrasahs, and Third, Actualization of Jurisprudence Education Environment (Fiqh Al- Bi'ah) in Forest Area Communities Village Gang.

Abstract

The role of the Madrasa Head as a central figure in the educational environment is very important in an institution, so that the leadership and supervision style of the Madrasah Head makes a positive contribution to the professionalism teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Putra al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri West Lombok. The aims of this study are 1) To determine the leadership style of the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Putra Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri, West Lombok. 2) To find out the Madrasah Head’s implementation of the supervision at Madrasah Aliyah Putra Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri West Lombok. 3) To find out the Madrasah Head’s contribution of the leadership style and supervision in increasing the professionalism teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Putra Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri West Lombok. This research is a qualitative research, while the data obtained in this study were the head of the Madrasah, the teachers, and several students of Madrasah Aliyah Putra Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri, West Lombok. Data collection techniques used are interviews, documentation and observation. The conclusions of this thesis research are 1) The leadership style of the Principal of Madrasah Aliyah Putra al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri in improving teacher professionalism uses a democratic leadership style which means that they are happy to receive suggestions, ideas and criticism from subordinates, communicate policies and problems, build work teams as a family. 2) The supervision carried out by the Madrasah Head in improving teacher professionalism is in a Collaborative form, and 3) The leadership and supervision style of the Madrasah Head makes a significant contribution in increasing the professionalism teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Putra Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri West Lombok. Based on the conclusions of the research, the Head of Madrasah should make an effort and be committed to developing personal performance (especially teachers) towards the expected professionalism, to create all of this, Madrasah leaders must pay attention to Collaborative Democracy Leadership Style (Collaborative Democracy).
