Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The effect of SAVI learning model and Discovery Learning on Physics learning achievement. 2) The influence of student achievement motivation high and low on the achievement of learning physics. 3) The existence of interaction between SAVI learning model and Discovery Learning with achievement motivation learn to Physics learning achievement. This type of research is quasi experimental research. The population in this study were all students of grade X MA Mu'allimin NW Pancor. The sample was determined by cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and multiple choice tests. hypothesis in this research use two way anava test. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that the first hypothesis there is influence with indigo Fhitung 6,00 > Ftabel is 4.04. From the results of the analysis, the first hypothesis concludes that, the SAVI model learning resulted in better learning achievement than learning using the Discovery Learning model. in the second hypothesis it produces Fhitung 65,45 > Ftabel is 4.04. From the results of the analysis, then the second hypothesis concluded the achievement of students who have high achievement motivation is better than the achievement of students who have low achievement motivation. While in the third hypothesis has no interaction with the value Fhitung -3,53 Ftabel is 0.04

Abstract

The aim of this research was to produce a web based instrument test to assess higher order thinking skills that are feasible and to describe the profile of students higher order thinking skills. This research using Research and Development (R&D) model from Borg and Gall with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation ). Data collection techniques in this study are the validation method that done by three lecturers from the physic department of State University of Surabaya and test method that done by 29 students of class X MIPA-2 SMA At-Ta’miriyyah using Quizizz. The data that has been collected were analyzed using quantitative decriptive analysis method. The percentage of average theoritical validity in the realms of construction, language, and media is is 97.03% or in the very feasible category. The result of product trials on 29 students analyzed the level of distinguishing power, reliability, and item validity. From the analysis obtained empirical validity as many as 10 questions declared empirically feasible. The appropriate test instrument is then used to describe the profile of students higher order thinking skills abilities. A viable test instrument is then used to describe the student's high-level thinking ability profile. 44.83% of students in very high categories, 13.79% with good categories, 0% with sufficient categories, and 41.38% with less categories. The ability to think high level in the competency of analyzing (C4) is lower at 67.49% compared to the evaluating competency (C5) of 80.46%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) menggunakan media power point terhadap hasil belajar fisika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Muallimat NW Pancor. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Kelas yang dijadikan sampel adalah kelas VIII-E sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas VIII-C seagai kelas kontrol. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah post-test only control design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan metode tes berupa pilihan ganda dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan uji-t satu pihak. Hasil hipotesis menunjukan bahwa thitung>ttabel yaitu (1,78>1,675) yang berarti bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat simpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) menggunakan media Power Point terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas VIII MTs Muallimat NW Pancor

Abstract

This study aims to improve the competence of prospective teacher students through the 2nd Batch Teaching Campus Program in 2021 at SMPN 19 Mataram. This activity was carried out at SMPN 19 Mataram with a total of 8 students from 5 study programs at FKIP University of Mataram. The activity was carried out for 5 months, with a total implementation time of 20 weeks starting from August to December 2021. This type of research is quantitative research. Data on improving the competence of prospective teacher students was obtained from a questionnaire with an assessment using a scale of 4. The number of questions in the questionnaire was 25. The competency criteria consisted of four categories, namely Very good (A), Good (B), Enough (C), and Poor (K). The increase in student competence from week 1 to week 20 is calculated using N-gain. The average value of student teacher competency is 83.7, which is in the Good (B) criteria. The N-gain value obtained is 70.7 which is in the high criteria. Thus, the competence of prospective teacher students will increase through the 2nd Batch Teaching Campus Program in 2021 at SMPN 19 Mataram.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penguasaan turunan dan integral terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas XI IPA pada materi kinematika gerak, Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI IPA di Madrasah Aliyah NW Kotaraja yang berjumlah 36 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan metode ex post facto, dengan tidak memberikan treatment tetapi langsung mengadakan evaluasi terkait kemampuan siswa pada materi kinematika gerak dan juga kemampuan siswa terkait kemampuan turunan dan integral. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan analisis regresi. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa  Freg-hitung = 4,282 dan Freg-tabel = 4,130 (Freg-hitung > Freg-tabel), maka kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penguasan turunan dan integral berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa pokok bahasan kinematika gerak.DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2971

Abstract

This research aims to obtain a picture of study time outside school hours with the physics learning outcomes of students of SMA Negeri 2 Mataram. This type of research is a descriptive study by interpreting the data as it is. Learning time data collection outside of school hours is obtained through a questionnaire or card that is filled in every day as students study the subject of waves and optics. Data on physics learning outcomes are obtained by multiple choice tests. The data is processed by the product moment correlation formula, followed by a test of the significance of the correlation coefficient. Data analysis conducted there was a significant relationship between study time outside school hours with physics learning outcomes of students of SMA N 2 Mataram with rhitung = 0.96 and rtabel = 0.32 for a significance level of 5%. Abstract

This study aims to determine student responses to the implementation of online semesters in basic physics courses. The subjects of this study were first semester students as many as 28 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire of 5 statements answered via google form. Then the answers to the questionnaire were analyzed using a qualitative description, the data of which was written in a table. Based on the results of data analysis, the percentage of student responses to the online basic physics course semester is 83%. Based on the percentage, this shows that students give a positive response to the semester of basic physics courses.

Abstract

The seismic refraction method is one of the geophysical methods which is based on measuring the response of seismic waves in the soil that are fractured along the soil and rock layers. One of the applications of the seismic refraction method is to determine the layers and rock types below the surface. This study uses a geophone as a catcher for seismic waves that are emitted below the surface. The waves caught on the geophone are converted into seismic data which can be read in a seismograph. Seismic data read by seismographs are already in digital form and stored in the main unit PASI 16S24-P. The results of the data analysis concluded that below the land surface of the village of Medana, there were 3 rock layers with a thickness of the first layer 3-4 meters, the second layer 2-5 meters and the third layer 10-17 meters. The first and second layers are still in the form of soil (less compact), while the third layer is in the form of rock (compact). The level of hardness (density) will be more compact in linear to the depth, the more the depth will be the more compact the rock. The depth that is in the form of hard rock starts from 16 meters to 23 meters from the ground level of the village of Medana, Central Lombok.DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2607

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out 1) the effect of debate and discussion on the students’ learning achievement; 2) the effect of high and low critical thinking ability on the students’ learning achievement; and 3) the interaction between the instructional method and the critical thinking ability on the students’ learning achievement. This research is quantitative administering experiment research. The population is the students of Informatics Education Study Program. The sample is the students who are taking ‘Etika Profesi (Profession Ethics)’ subject in the sixth semester. This grade consists of two classes: 6A and 6B. Based on the research and the data analysis, it is concluded that 1) there is effect on the students’ learning achievement -the students’ learning achievement taught through debating is higher than through discussion; 2) there is effect critical thinking ability on the students’ learning achievement -the students with high critical thinking ability gain higher learning achievement; 3) there is a significant interaction between the instructional method and the students’ critical thinking ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh metode pembelajaran mind mapping disertai ice breaking terhadap aktivitas belajar dan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh metode pembelajaran mind mapping disertai ice breaking terhadap hasil belajar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Metro yang berjumlah 238 siswa dan sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yakni penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan Design Quasi Eksperimental dengan berbentuk Posttest-Only Control Design. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Kelas eksperimen menerapkan metode mind mapping disertai ice breaking sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi dan tes. Instrumen sebelum digunakan dilakukan validasi ahli dan di uji reliabilitas soal serta dilakukan uji tingkat kesukaran soal sehingga dikatakan layak gunakan. Hasil analisis uji perbedaan dua rata-rata aktivitas dan hasil belajar yang diterapkan dengan menggunakan metode mind mapping disertai ice breaking lebih tinggi dibandingkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar kelas kontrol. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dari metode pembelajaran mind mapping disertai ice breaking terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar
