Inter-Semester Lectures are identical students whose level of mastery of concept skills is still low. Efforts that can be made to improve students' mastery of concepts are applying learning with the cognitive conflict approach. Students have a very low understanding of concepts in basic physics subjects in temperature and heat. The purpose of this study is to improve the mastery of the concept of students in the material Temperature and Heat. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study used students of physics education study programs at one of the universities in NTB. The number of samples in this study was 20 students. The research instrument used was a multiple-choice question. Improved understanding of concepts was analyzed by the N-Gain test. The results showed an increase in mastery of the concept of material temperature and heat after learning with the cognitive conflict approach with an average N-Gain of 0.62 in the medium category DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i1.2009

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis paparan dan indeks eksposi pada pemeriksaan thorax terhadap IMT pasien dewasa. Data peneltian yang digunakan pada saat pengamatan adalah berat dan tinggi badan pasien, faktor eksposi yang terdiri dari tegangan (kV), Arus (mA) dan waktu (s) serta nilai FFD pada saat pemeriksaan. Pengambilan data dengan menggunakan jenis pemeriksaan thorax Posterior-Anterior (PA). Rentang usia pasien yang digunakan saat penelitian sesuai dengan aturan DEPKES pada kategori dewasa yaitu 26-45 tahun. Pengujian pada data menggunakan uji-F dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian data menggunakan uji-F diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 dan nilai Fhitung sebesar 49,166 dengan nilai taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan nilai Ftabel sebesar 3,35. Dari hasil tersebut dinyatakan memenuhi kriteria pengujian dalam statistik dimana H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada nilai dosis paparan dan nilai indeks ekposi terhadap Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dimana nilai indeks eksposi berpengaruh terhadap hasil citra pesawat sinar-X pemeriksaan thorax.

The purpose of writing this article is to explain the application of online based learning using the Zoom Cloud Mettng application during the COVID-19 pandemic. The writing of this article uses a qualitative method of literature review by collecting data in the form of secondary data obtained from various sources such as articles, notes, or other scientific sources. The data collected is then analyzed inductively. Based on the literature review, data analysis, and discussion, it can be concluded that the Zoom Cloud Metting application is an effective medium used in the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic because it is able to facilitate educators and learning to be able to interact while continuing to prioritize health protocols during the pandemic COVID-19, namely Physical Distancing or maintaining distance.DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2237

This study aims to determine: (1) The feasibility of ICT-based Physics History textbooks according to material experts, (2) The feasibility of ICT-based Physics History textbooks according to media experts. The research method used is R&D with reference to the 4-D model (four D model). The 4-D model consists of the define, design, development and disseminate stages. The development of ICT-based Physics History textbooks is the development of textbooks that help students in building information (knowledge) in understanding concepts through ICT in e-books in Physics History courses delivered. This is in accordance with KKNI curriculum planning, where the implementation of learning in the classroom is carried out with the Scientific Approach approach which includes observing, questioning, experimenting, associating (discussion), and networking (presentation). The results of the study are as follows: (1) ICT-Based Physics History Teaching books that have been validated by material experts with appropriate performance with an average value of 78, (2) ICT-Based Physics History Teaching books that have been validated by media experts with expertise suitable for use with an average rating of 80.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. 2) Pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dan 3) Interaksi antara metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan berpikir kritis terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi semua siswa kelas X MA Muallimin NW Gunung Rajak. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket dan tes. angkeat digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sedangkan tes digunakan untuk mengukur prestasi kognitif siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji anava dua jalan sel sama dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Ada pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, 2) Ada pengaruh berpikir kritis tinggi siswa dan berpikir kritis rendah siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, 3) Tidak ada interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan berpikir kritis terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.

The title of this paper is Fraunhofer diffraction simulation using spreadsheet and GNU octave media as an alternative for learning during the pandemic. This paper aims to present an alternative to distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic by using simulations using spreadsheets and GNU Octave media.Optical practicum in physics laboratories can not be done during pandemics. So the solution that can be offered is to use simulations on optical subjects of diffraction material. In the simulation making activities students can learn and explore about the phenomenon of diffraction. Simulations using the equations used in the research of Zhanget al. in 2013.This simulation is used to visualize the effect of variations in different parameters such as wavelengths and gap widths in Fraunhofer diffraction patterns. This paper has successfully simulated Fraunhofer's diffraction using spreadsheets as well as GNU Octave. This distance learning allows students to develop fraunhofer computational computational skills and conceptual understanding of diffraction

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada saat proses pembelajaran dengan CCM-CCA berbantuan virtual experiment. Materi yang dijadikan penelitian adalah Optik. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian yaitu 30 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika di salah satu universitas di NTB. Kemampuan berpikir kritis pada saat proses pembelajaran dilatih dengan lembar kerja mahasiswa (LKM) yang dilengkapi instrumen penilaian kemampuan berpikir kritis. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan selama 3 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dari kategori rendah dengan skor rata-rata 38 menjadi kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 75. Fakta ini menunjukkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan CCM-CCA berbantuan virtual experiment mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada materi Optik. DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2632

The earthquake was the most common natural disaster in Indonesia, one ofwhich was the Province of Bali. The southern part of Bali is a meeting area of two earth plates (subduction zones) between the Eurasian and Indo-Australian plates and in the northern region there is a back arc thrust fracture which results in earthquake frequencies in the Bali area. One of the parameters that is very instrumental in determining the level of damage to land and buildings that occur on the surface of the earth due to earthquake shocks is the acceleration of the soil. A research has been conducted which aims to find out the empirical equation of land acceleration for Bali in the 2008-2016 period, namely by determining the empirical equation of land acceleration (PGA) conducted using magnitude parameters, hypocenter distance and PGA (observation) values in 2008-2016 with coordinates 70-120 LS and 1130-1180 BT. Through the regression analysis approach, to obtain the empirical equation of land acceleration in the Bali region is ð‘™ð‘œð‘”10(ð‘ƒðºð´) = (−1,89) ð‘™ð‘œð‘”10(ð‘…) + (0,71) ð‘šð‘ + 1,18. Then several approaches and correlation analysis are performed to see the compatibility of the new empirical equation with the existing one.

From the observations in SMP Utama Wacana III Tulang Bawang Barat, the motivation of the students is very low, so the students' learning activity is low to. This problem appears when the teacher explains the teori, some students are drowsy, daydreaming, there is also chatting with his friends. This study aims to determine the effect of student learning activities with the provision of motivation in the form of written media in the form of bulletins and posters. The research method is experimental method using two classes, that is experiment class and control class. The data collecting is done by posttest only control group design. From the results of research conducted, it was found that the average learning activity that was given the motivation to use the media in the form of bulletin and poster higher than the average of learning activities that are not motivated using the media in the form of bulletins and posters with test data difference of two average obtained t -hit = 3.95 and t-daf = 1.68, showing t-hit> t-daf. So it is important if in the classroom given posters that can motivate students and if you can add with articles that can increase student motivation as well, awareness for learning increases so that student learning activities increase.

This study aims to determine the increase in students' ability to analyze by applying modeling instruction and simulation media PhET. The research method used is a quasi experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. In this study, samples were taken as many as 33 people. The instrument used in the study was a multiple choice test. This test consists of 5 questions in the analyze category. Data analysis in this study used the Gain Normality Test. From the calculation results obtained an average value of N-gain of 0.7, it can be concluded that the application of modeling instruction and simulation media PhET can improve the ability to analyze students.DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i1.1820
