Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes through Cooperative Learning Civics Team Type Game Tournament (TGT) and promote cooperation among the students. Research methods Classroom Action Research by 3 cycles. The results of the study in the first cycle an average score of 62.6 students, with an increase of 12.64%. Cycle II scores an average of 74.07, with a gain of 33.21%. Cycle III students' average scores amounted to 82.9, with an increase of 49.16%. Type TGT Civics can improve learning outcomes by 49.16%. So learning outcomes Civics increased by 49.16% by using Cooperative Learning Type TGT.

Abstract

Pluralism in Indonesia is a wealth of experience to the citizens to be able to coexist in harmony. The main value of mutual respect and love between people is an important concern in Indonesia in the future to build a more cultured. Discourse of "global village" is a part of life's internalization structure that should be able to be adapted as a process of modern life in the era of globalization. Values ​​corresponding to the ideal conception of Indonesian culture can be developed that do not fade due process undertaken transnational citizens in generating diversity. Education, understanding, pluralistic, and democratic become an absolute key to contribute in teaching the people to live in harmony in unity and unity.

Abstract

Although Indonesia has long history fighting corruption since its independence, however the fighting has not given positive resulted yet. The corruption cases is increasing from one rezim to another, even after reformation era which put its based movement toward fighting corruption. This phenomena drive many Indonesian people, experts, and scholars to evaluate the essence of fighting such bad behaviour either from culture, legal, and education perspective. Scholars suggested that the effective way of fighting the corruption is in preventive scheme rather in represive one. In this sense, it is education that could give great impact to build anti corruption character. The challenge in formulating such system in higher education not only due to the material or the subject given to the students, but also the method that need different approach to make sure that the needed character has been developed well.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) identify trends in students in selecting candidates and political parties, (2) know the reasons students choose candidates and political parties, and (3) explain the factors that led to the student in choosing difficult. To explain the purpose of this study used a behavioral approach choosing (voting behavior). While the types of research using qualitative methods of data collection through interviews and open questionnaires. The results showed that (1) students tend to choose based nationalist political party, the PDI-P, the Democratic Party, and Gerindra. In selecting candidates for the legislature and the executive (the prospective governor/vice governor), students tend to prefer candidates who are well known and have an emotional attachment; (2) The reasons students choose a political party because he felt the presence of emotional closeness with the concerned parties or the candidates (candidates) are carried by the parties concerned. (3) Students assume the 2014 election had a lot of trouble to vote, because it is only 9.58% which assumes no difficulty in choosing. While the cause is considered to be the most difficult in choosing is non-technical factors such as too many candidates, the candidates are not known, ballots that are too big, and not accompanied by photographs candidates (DPRD).

Abstract

The student movement in the post-independence as well as the Old Order ups and downs along with the socio-political atmosphere. During the revolutionary period students involved in the struggle for independence. While at the time of Liberal Democracy, student activism changed. At first they are more academic activism alone and free from political interests outside the university. But in the elections of 1955 university and college students have politicized, making it applicable conflict and discord. In the Guided Democracy period (1959-1965)increasing student political activity. Occurs strong government intervention against the university. In addition, the form is also the influence of leftist groups who cause strife and conflicts between student organizations. University of previously fragmented worse. These circumstances occur until 1965 when the Communist Party of Indonesia destroyed.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the effectiveness of the National Exam Success program at SMK 5 Jakarta. The results showed that the evaluation is based on the input of the 4 aspects and 22 sub-aspects, which have met the objective standard is 2 aspects and 17 sub-aspects, which do not meet the standards are 2 aspects and 5 sub-aspects. Aspects that meet the standards are aspects of teacher competence and aspects of school atmosphere, while some aspects of sub aspects are still not meet objective standards are aspects of infrastructure and commitment aspect Principal, Teachers, Students and Parents. Based on the sub-evaluation process, from 7 aspects and 14 sub-aspects are four aspects that meet objective standards and 3 aspects which do not meet objective standards. Aspects that meet the standards covering aspects of learners determination, determination homeroom, the responsibility of parents, and istigosyah. Medium aspects which do not meet objective standards covering aspects of the deepening of the material outside of school hours, periodically try out both internally and externally, and providing motivation by motivator. Based on the results of the evaluation sub 4 aspects and 7 sub-aspects, there are two aspects that already meet the standards of objective and two aspects that do not meet an objective standard. Aspects that meet objective standards covering aspects of achievement in the National Examination (UN) and the aspect proceed to private universities (PTS) 20%. While aspects not meet the standards covering aspects of the industry's absorbed 40% and accepted in public universities (PTN) of 40%.

Abstract

The development of the tin mining industry in Bangka Bangka Belitung has contributed very significantly to the economy of communities in the region. But on the other hand, these activities also have a negative effect in the form of reduced mangrove forests, destruction of soil, polluted water sources, as well as the emergence of pits (pit) excavated and others. So far under the utilization of tin in Bangka Island is not optimal. Economically, the potential pit can be used as a source of raw water, aquaculture, or recreational water. This can be done through environmental reclamation. Technically goal of rehabilitation is to restore the soil conditions for stable and not prone to erosion. From the economical and aesthetic aspects of land, soil conditions improved so that the value or economic potential can be restored at least its original state. From the aspect of the ecosystem, ecosystem condition to attempt the return of the original ecosystem.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to explore how crowdfunding can support social action both online and offline movement of students. Eighteen participants consisting of crowdfunding platform founder, founder and volunteer organization participated in this study. Grounded theory methodology was applied and involved simultaneous data collection, coding and analysis through constant comparison. The emerging theory is “democratization financial access”.

Abstract

This research is purposed to know how the implementation of scientific approach and authentic assessment in civics and citizenship in SMAN 7 Bogor. This research employed a descriptive methods from qualitative research.The results showed that teacher has understanding on the scientific approach and authentic assessment in the study of civic education. The planning of scientific approach and authentic assessment in civic education has been carried out thoroughly. The implementation of scientific approach and authentic assessment in study of civic and citizenship, the teacher has demonstrated the stages of scientific approach and processing score into value using the existing assessment format. The scientific approach and authentic assessment showed an objective results of student learning competencies; such as attitude, skills and knowledge.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the common problem a teacher usually encounters is choosing or determining the course of study which exactly suited in helping students to achieve their competence.Approach which is used in this research is qualitatively method of case of study. Observation, interviews, documentation analysis and triangulation are the process of collecting data for this research. The data is analyzed through data reduction and display, and conclusion. The result of this research shows that(1) Teacher creativity in establishing the course of study learning process in high school acceleration class at SMAN 1 Banjarmasin such as teacher’s knowledge about the course, kind of the course used in learning process and the teaching method and learning model that teachers used are good enough. (2). Factors which prevent teacher creativities course of study in civic education learning process in high school acceleration class are internal factors and eksternal factors (3) efforts that school and teachers needed to improve teacher creativities in establishing the course of study in civic education learning process in high school acceleration class at SMAN 1 Banjarmasin.
