Abstract

This study purposed to describe how’s the influence of Civics learning, habituation and extracurricular towards civic disposition formation of students as the city of Bandar Lampung. This research used in this research is a quantitative approach with survey methods and correlational. The results showed that the learning Civics is positively significant affect on student’s civic dispositions at Senior High School in Bandar Lampung City. Habituation is positively significant affect on student’s civic dispositions at Senior High School in Bandar Lampung City. Extracurricular is positively significant affect on student’s civic dispositions at Senior High School in Bandar Lampung City. Simultaneously, learning Civics, habituations and extracurricular are positively significant affect on student’s civic dispositions at Senior High School in Bandar Lampung City.

Abstract

Skill assessment, which is called performance assessment, is part of assessment domains in curriculum 2013. In PPKn subject, skills assessment can assistlearners to foster their attitude of solidarity, democratic, and responsible through practice assignment, project, and portfolio technique. The purpose of this research is to know how the effect of the implementation of skills assessment based on curriculum 2013 in PPKn subject toward the educationof civic responsibility on the learners. The basic theory is permendikbud No. 104 (2014) about the assessment standards and assessment theory Widoyoko (2014), the theory of civic responsibility Branson (1999). The approach used is quantitative research with survey method. A population is of 2380 students. Technique used is random sampling as many as 336 respondents. Data collection used is questionnaire, using correlation and regression analysis. Based on data analysis, influence planning (X1) and implementation skills assessment (X2) on the education of civic responsibility (Y) has positive effect amounting to 21,47%.

Abstract

This article briefly describes some of the major theories of international political economy, namely: Liberal Trade Theory; Nationalist trade theory; The theory of "Dual Economy"; Theory of the Modern World System (MWS); Hegemonic stability theory. Each of these theories has shown an important aspect of economic and political relations. In addition to having the advantages of each, above theories also opened the weaknesses of another theory, allowing us to see the extent of his power in explaining trends in today's global economy. Each theory has its contextual truth respectively. In addition, any such theory can not stand alone. We need elements of each other's views to be aware of the complex relationship between economics and politics. In international relations the interrelationship or interplay between economic factors with the political factor is absolute.

Abstract

This research is encouraged by the rejection of Jakarta Government Policy which requires the Head of Neighborhood Association (RT) and Community Association (RW) to use Qlue Application in helping the government to overcome the City problem. Research method used is descriptive method within qualitative approach. The informants in this research are Heads of RT and RW. Key Informants are Head of Administrative Village, Governmental Peace of Order Section, and Economic Development Section at Kelurahan Tengah. The results of the research show that Application of Qlue Application Policy has been running well. This is seen from the fulfillment of Evaluation Indicators of the effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy and responsiveness. While the Impact of Development is caused by the Report of City Problems that encourages the creation of Regional Development which is seen from the improvement of service, the development, empowerment, and the participation of citizens in following up the Qlue report.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of local democracy in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta based on the achievement of the Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) in the last 5 years (2013-2017). The methods used are library research, in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussion, and analysis of news document content. The results of the study show that the achievements of the democracy index of DKI Jakarta Province occupy the highest position, compared to other provinces. In 2014 DKI Province's democracy index score reached 84.70, from a scale of 100. In 2015 the index score reached 85.32, 2016 dropped to 70.85. While 2017 reaches the highest ranking, which is 84.73. Thus, Jakarta is a national "barometer" for the achievement of democracy. The dynamics and performance of democracy in DKI Jakarta Province is strongly influenced by its position as the capital city, metropolitan city, the center of political, economic, socio-cultural life.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to knowing about Live In Program to Improving of Student‟s Empathy in SMP Kolese Kanisius Jakarta. This research use a qualitative method began at observation, documentation, and also interview to students grade VIII (Eight) as an informan and vice principal as a key informan. SMP Kolese Kanisius Jakarta‟s Live In Program is implement by placing students in a village and living with host family for seven days. During that time, students directly feel the life with villagers by following host family‟s daily activities. Those activities include farming, selling, gardening, raising, and others daily activities. The result shows that trough live in program, students have a chance to improve and sharpened their empathy towards others. In addition, this program also will increase student‟s independence.

Abstract

The presence of Pancasila nowadays and in the future or the spirit of “Palapa” oath in the past, is functioned as the attaching base and the unity – device for Indonesian nation and its archipelago. We realize truly that this nation consists of various tribes, religions, languages, ethnics, groups, ecology, etc; it needs to be kept, to be preserved, to be conserved. If it is ignored, it can ‘explode’ in anytime so that it needs in depth thinking and strategies to handle and to finish it. That thing has to be done so that it will not make any difficulty in the next day, so it has to be on a passion, maintained and fought for about the Pancasila and the spirit of “Palapa” oath. As the attachment device of the nation, both Pancasila and Palapa oath are taken from the root of the culture of the nation itself: so that it become familiar, close and usual for us as a nation. Though, both of them present according to the situation of the era, they are believed be able to be the ideology of a country, Indonesia nation. Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out the implementation of the Physical Special Allocation Fund (DAK) in the Basic Education level in Agam Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach. Respondents were Head of Elementary and junior SecondarySchool Division, as well as managers of Physical DAK in Elementary and Middle School. Data collection were carried out using clustered group discussions (DKT) and secondary data. Analysis data used qualitative descriptive technique. The results of the study show that the implementation of education infrastructure improvement is carried out in a self-managed manner and the procurement of educational facilities is carried out by auction or by e-catalog. All of the education infrastructure improvements can be carried out (100%) both in elementary and junior high schools. Whereas not all can be implemented to improve education facilities, especially in elementary schools. To procure library collections in the Elementary School, Elementary School Division in the regency must refund as much as IDR 2.6 billion, because it cannot carry out the procurement of library collections due to the absence of providers who pass the selection for auction. Procurement of educational equipment and media can be implemented in Junior Secondary School, because all goods needed in the procurement of equipment and educational media are in the e-catalog, making it easier for DAK managers to procure an increase in educational facilities. In addition, the ecatalog procurement process is faster and safer.

Abstract

This reseach aims to learn how to deal with conflicts between citizens as social conflicts, and changes that result, and efforts to overcome conflicts between citizens. The reseach was conducted in Kramat Pulo Gundul, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta. This reseach uses qualitative methods to obtain more in-depth data by asking research informants. Techniques for collecting data through involved observation, interviews, use of documents, registration techniques, and field notes. The results of the study concluded, the causes of brawl between residents in Kramat Pulo Gundul were different goals, individual personalities, cultural and defense conflicts, and cultural differences. Fights between residents that occurred in RW 010 Kramat Pulo Gundul, Tanah Tinggi, Johar Baru, Jakarta Damage to public facilities and property, Relationship damage and communication between parties involved in conflict, Negative attitudes and protections, Physical and psychological health, Difficulties looking for work, and lowering the price of houses and land. However, there is a need to worry about reducing the sense of respect and return, peace and life values for each individual.

Abstract

ABSTRACT With regards to findings of the study, it can be concluded that in general, (1) the use of Cooperative Learning strategy has given higher achievement in learning Civics than that of Expository one; (2) the use of Cooperative Learning strategy with learners of field independent learning style has effect in the form of higher achievement in learning Civics than that of Expository one; (3) the use of Cooperative Learning strategy with learners of field dependent learning style has effect in the form of lower achievement in learning Civics than that of Expository one; and (4) there is interaction between the use of learning strategy and learner's learning style on learner's achievement in learning Civics.
