Some people use sarcasm to express anger, annoyance, etc. This research aims to examine the form of sarcasm in the short story Malam Seorang Maling by Jakob Sumardjo, end the form of sarcasm in the 70s. The research method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. The content analysis technique is used by recording the findings. From the analysis that has been done, 10 sarcasm data were found. Based on the findings, the target of sarcasm is only sometimes addressed to living objects, such as human being or their group, but to non-living objects, such as suitcases and hallways.

The Role of the Catholic Religious Education Teacher in Increasing Students' Interest in Class VIII Through Learning Catholic Religious Education and Characteristics at SMP RK Deli Murni Delitua. This research was conducted determine the role of Catholic religious education teachers in increasing interest in learning for Grade VIII students through learning Catholic religious education and morals. This type of research used is a qualitative method. The qualitative method was chosen because it can explore a problem in-depth and can explain in detail about a problem that occurs, starting from identifying a problem in-depth and explaining a problem that occurs, starting from identifying the problem to explaining the solution. The number of respondents in this study consisted of one Catholic religious education teacher and six students. The location of the research was at SMP RK Deli Murni Delitua. This Study used several techniques to collect the data observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects used were Catholic religious education teachers and class VIII students. The results of this study indicate that, firstly, the role of Catholic religious education teachers in this school is good. This can be seen from the students' increased interest in learning, and secondly, the students' interest in learning is good, 85% of students' interest in learning is high, and 15% is interested in low student learning.

This thesis aims to find out the teacher's skills in class management to increase the activeness of student learning in Catholic Religious education subjects. The research method used by researchers is qualitative. Researchers used the results of observations, interviews, and documentation to observe and find out how the skills of teachers in class management increase students' active learning in Catholic Religion education at Kabanjahe 2 Catholic Senior High School. Informants in this research were Catholic religious education teachers as chritical informants, students as supporting informants, and peer teachers as additional informants. Catholic religious education teachers apply skills in classroom management where students are more active than before, starting from students who dare to ask questions, express opinions, and have group discussions. This can be seen from the average value of students' daily tests before the teacher applies skills in class management, namely 72. After the skills that the teacher makes in class management, the average value of students increases to 81 in cycle 1 and then increases again to 84 in cycle 2.

This research was conducted to find how using the Experiential Narrative model can increase the learning motivation of SMAK 2 Kabanjahe. This study uses a qualitative method. The qualitative method was chosen because it can explore a problem in – depth and can explain in detail explain in detail, from identifying a problem to explaining the solution. In This study used several techniques to collect the data, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subject were 1 tutor, 1 school principal, and 10 social studies class X students. The study result show that: 1) Catholic Religious Education teachers' steps for using the experiential narrative model are reasonable. This can be seen from the teacher's ability to carry out the stages of the experiential narrative model before learning takes place. 2) The use of the experiential narrative model in learning has increased students' learning motivation. This can be seen from the positive response from students when the teacher teaches and the excellent good interaction between the teacher and students.

This research aims determine how the use of audiovisual media can enhance the student’s interest in learning in Grade 10 Social Sciences in Catholic Religious Education at St. Antonius Bangun Mulia High School, Medan. This research adopts a qualitative method. The qualitative method is chosen because it allows for an in-depth exploration of a problem and provides detailed explanations regarding the identified problem and its solutions. The data collection techniques employed in this research include interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects include one mentor teacher, one peer teacher, and ten students from Grade 10 Social Sciences. The research findings indicate that: 1) The steps of utilizing audiovisual media employed by the Catholic Religious Education teacher are practical. This can be observed from the teacher's competence in carrying out the three pre-learning stages:preparation,planning, and follow-up. 2) using audiovisual media in the classroom has increased students' interest in learning. This is evidenced by the positive response from the students during teaching sessions and the positive interaction between the teacher and students.

Lack of understanding of the concept of materia taught to students and teachers do not know each student's learning style. This research aims to determine students' learning styles by analyzing students' learning styles in learning Indonesian in class VIII of SMP Yapendak School, Kec. Ujung Padang for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The population in this study were all class VIII students of SMP Yapendak School, Kec. Ujung Padang with a total of 82 students. The technique used in sampling was collecting data on student learning styles in the process of learning Indonesian in class SMP Yapendak School, Kec. Ujung Padang used a questionnaire with 30 questions. The results of the research show that the learning style analysis of the visual student learning style indicators has an average percentage of 72%. The auditory learning style indicator has an average percentage of 66%. In terms of kinesthetic student learning style indicators, the average percentage is 65%. So it can be analyzed that students' learning styles in learning Indonesian in class SMP Yapendak School Kec. Ujung Padang is more towards the Visual learning style because it gets a higher average score and percentage compared to audiotorial and kinesthetic learning styles.

This study aims to conduct a Freudian psychosomatic analysis of the moral struggle of Mark's character in the short story "Keluarga M" by Budi Darma. The research object of the short story focuses on Mark's character development and inner conflict involving the interaction between Freudian basic drives, moral values, and social norms. Freudian psychosomatic theory is used as a conceptual framework. This study identifies and analyzes the conflict between the id, ego, and superego in Mark's psyche to understand the tension between basic drives, such as personal desire and recklessness, and the formation of social norms. Character complexity. This study hypothesizes that significant inner conflicts in Mark's moral struggle will be revealed through Freudian psychosomatic analysis. Based on the assumption that the interaction between these psychological components affects the character's behavior and emotions, this research seeks to provide in-depth insight into the complexity of humans in facing moral dilemmas through literary media. The results of this research are expected to provide a deeper understanding of Mark's character and how his moral struggle reflects human psychological dynamics.

This research discusses the importance of educational philosophy in the context of language learning. It is considered a theoretical foundation that plays a central role in guiding the goals and methodologies of language learning. By exploring its role in formulating the goals of language education, guiding teaching methods, and creating a conducive learning environment, this research reveals the urgency of educational philosophy in shaping meaningful language learning experiences. The results of this study reveal that the importance of understanding the urgency of educational philosophy in language learning is the first step to creating a better and sustainable educational future. Therefore, educators, researchers, and educational policymakers are urged to pay attention to and consider the philosophical basis in every language learning policy and practice.

The development of digital technology is closely related to developments in the world of education. This is because the rapid development of technology is very influential in the development of information and communication, so this provides positive benefits that can be utilized in the world of education. To produce effective learning, varied learning media are needed. This article's development of varied learning utilizes the Canva application at the elementary school level. Canva is one of the many applications that can be used to design varied learning media. As a facilitator in the learning process, the teacher's job is to present meaningful and enjoyable learning so that it can make students become more focused and arouse their thinking in order to encourage students to be motivated to learn to become students who have superior human resources and have the profile of Pancasila students.

It critically analyzes the relationship between language and power in the context of language dominance in society. This research explores how language becomes an important tool to reinforce power structures, regulate power relations between individuals and groups, and influence the construction of social identities. Using a critical approach, this research outlines how the selective use of language by dominant groups can suppress and marginalize minority groups, causing inequality in access to resources and opportunities. Historical, political, and social factors in the formation of power structures through language are also analyzed in depth. In addition, the abstract considers the ethical and political implications of language dominance in society, as well as efforts to break this dominance through multilingual advocacy, recognition of linguistic diversity, and promotion of linguistic equality. This research provides a deep insight into how language is not only a tool of communication but also a tool of power that significantly impacts the formation of inclusive or exclusive social structures.
