Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya ilmiah melalui pendekatan kolaboratif. subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Prodi Teknologi Laboratorium Medis di Universitas Binawan Jakarta, T.A. 2021/2022, yang mengikuti mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia dengan sub pokok bahasan karya tulis ilmiah, Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Prosedur penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan dengan mengumpulkan data yang relevan, melakukan analisis data, pengalaman mahasiswa yang sudah bekerja sebagai ATLM, dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, diskusi dan praktek menyusun karya ilmiah. masalah yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam menulis adalah (1) kurang konsisten antara judul makalah dan isi makalah, (2) kurang tepat merumuskan masalah dan submasalah, (3) pembahasan tiap submasalah kurang terinci, (4) kajian pustaka ada yang kurang relevan dengan masalah dan submasalah, (5) simpulan belum mencerminkan uraian pembahasan masalah, (6) kurang memperhatikan penggunaan EYD, Tujuan penelitian dengan metode kolaboratif ini menjadikan mahasiswa tanggung jawab dan lebih bersemangat dalam mempelajari materi bersama teman satu profesi, sekaligus dapat menyusun karya ilmiah dalam satu kelompok sebagai sarana memahami karya tulis ilmiah sesuai kaidah penulisan karya ilmiah yang baik dan benar dengan berpedoman dengan EYD dalam mempersiapkan penyusunan Tugas Akhir. Kata kunci : karya ilmiah kolaborasi, kreativitas, TLM Abstract- This study aims to improve students' skills in writing scientific papers through a collaborative approach. The research subject is a student of the medical laboratory technology study program at binawan university jakarta, T.A. 2021/2022, who took part in the course of indonesian with a sub-subject of scientific papers, the research method used is descriptive qualitative. This research procedure raises problems by collecting relevant data, conducting data analysis, the experiences of students who have worked as atlm, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, discussions and the practice of compiling scientific papers. The problems faced by students in writing are (1) inconsistency between the title of the paper and the content of the paper, (2) it is not appropriate to formulate problems and sub-issues, (3) the discussion of each sub-issue is less detailed, (4) literature reviews are less relevant to the problem and sub-issues, (5) the conclusions have not reflected the description of the discussion of the problem, (6) do not pay attention to the use of eyd, the purpose of research with this collaborative method makes students responsible and more enthusiastic in studying material with professional friends, as well as being able to compile scientific papers in one group as a means of understanding scientific papers according to the rules of writing good and correct scientific papers guided by eyd in preparing the final project. Abstract

The purpose of research on Indonesian spelling errors in official letters at the Siulak Mukai sub-district office is to describe errors in punctuation marks and letters. The background of this research is that there are still many errors in using Indonesian spelling in writing official letters at the Siulak Mukai district office. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data source is official letters issued by the Siulak Mukai sub-district office in 2020 for the January–December period of 25 letters. The data collection technique was carried out through observation and document analysis techniques. Data analysis techniques consist of two activities simultaneously, namely data reduction and data presentation. From the analysis carried out on 25-letter data, it was found that there were errors in using dots in 23-letter data, or 92% of errors. Errors in using commas amount to as many as 14 data letters, or 56% of errors. Slash mark errors can be as high as 10 letters, or 40% of the time. Hyphen error amounts to as much as one letter of data or a 4% error. Capital letter errors accounted for 21 letters or 84% of all errors. Italics errors are as common as four-letter data, accounting for 16% of all errors. The error in using bold letters is four, or 16% of the time.

Abstract

The reading ability of Elementary students is a series of actions that must be developed so that students are not only good at reading but also able to explore and understand the text of reading books. This study shows that several picture books are an effort to increase elementary school students' reading interest. The methodology used in this study is a literature review and reports from various journals. To increase students' interest in reading, teachers must use appropriate media to attract students' attention. Picture storybooks have a function to enrich and support storytelling in the process of understanding the contents of the book. Picture books are one of the tools used in the curriculum. Storybooks feature many pictures to tell a story, character, setting, or whatever. This study describes the development of Elementary school picture storybooks and the benefits of using storybooks as a media in teaching elementary students. The study concludes that students' attraction to develop reading skills and develop previous skills can be done through the use of media, namely the use of stories presented in the media.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the influence of the think talk write learning model on students' ability to write editorial texts properly and correctly. This research was located at the PAB 1 Helvetia Vocational School, Jl. Veterans Psr. IV Pulo Brayan Medan. The method in this research uses the one-group pretest-posttest experimental model and random sampling technique with a total population of 126 students. The data collection tool used was a written test in the form of an essay. The ability to write editorial texts using the think talk write learning model obtained perfect scores for 6 students with a percentage of 17.6%. The excellent category is 23 students, with a percentage of 67.6%. Enough category as many as 5 students with a percentage of 14.7%. However, for the fewer and significantly fewer categories, none were found. This means that the ability to write editorial texts is at a good level due to the influence of the think-talk write learning model. Thus the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is an influence of the think talk write learning model on the ability to write editorial texts in XII students of SMK PAB 1 Helvetia in the 2022-2023 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Learning Model on the Ability to Write News Texts for Grade VIII students of MTs Darul Arifin in the 2021-2022 Academic Year. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 20 experimental and 20 control class students. Measurement of student learning outcomes based on research instruments in the form of subjective tests in the form of essays. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on learning outcomes in Writing News Texts using the Contextual Teaching and Learning Learning Model. This is shown from the results of the calculation of the posttest hypothesis test through the t-test at a significant level of 0.05, where tcount>ttable (2.864154 > 1.721296296). The achievement of the average student score in the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning class with a value of 84.25 reinforces this result. In contrast, conventional learning obtains a value of 79.5. These results indicate that student activities in the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model are better.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of rampant bullying that is currently happening in the community without exception, with the rampant bullying that often occurs among students, seen explicitly by researchers. Therefore, researchers are interested in exploring bullying. Based on the description above, it is necessary to conduct research. The writer is interested in analyzing the representation of bullying in the novel, "And the Rain Stopped by Farida Susanty, through a literary, sociological approach." The researcher categorized into sub-problems to be more focused: (1) What are the forms and impacts of bullying in the novel "And the Rain Stopped by Farida Susanty"? (2) What are the factors or causes of bullying in the novel "And the Rain Stopped by Farida Susanty"?. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The research data are in the form of words, phrases, and sentences that contain representations of bullying in the novel by Farida Susanty, namely what forms of bullying, factors or causes of bullying, and the impact of bullying. The novel contains categories of verbal/verbal bullying and psychological and physical bullying.

Abstract

This research describes the rhetoric urgency in Observation reporting of covid-19 by Vocational High School students. Observations report requires interesting rhetoric or delivery techniques so listeners are informed, entertained, and influenced by the content conveyed. Research data is in the form of oral video recordings of student observation reports. The total of students studied was 70 people. Students collect videos through the e-learning application google classroom. Researchers observe and take notes to collect student rhetoric data. The results showed that 59% of students were good at reporting observations, and 41% of students were poor at reporting observations. This percentage is obtained from the accumulated value of the students' rhetorical strategy delivery technique, which consists of mastery of content, vocals (intonation and pronunciation), performance ( gestures and expressions), and language style. Students who score less are due to 1) a lack of confidence in reporting the results of observations that have been made, 2) vowel delivery techniques consisting of insufficient intonation and pronunciation, and 3) not utilizing body language forms of gestures and expressions.

Abstract

This study discusses the language errors in the brochure for New Student Admissions for the Sintang District High School level. The errors studied included errors in capital letters, italics, punctuation, diction, and prepositions. This research data is 6 brochures for New Student Admission to the high school level in Sintang Regency. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. Data analysis stages are carried out by collecting data, identifying, classifying, and evaluating errors. The basis used to analyze the data is PUEBI. Of the six brochures, the SMKN 1 Kelam Permai brochure found the most errors. Meanwhile, the fewest errors were found in the SMAN 1 Binjai Hulu brochure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks drama dengan menggunakan model Cooperative learning tipe STAD pada siswa VIII-6 SMP N 38 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2021/2022. Masalah yang mendasar adalah rendahnya keterampilan menulis teks drama bagi siswa. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dalam bentuk PTK. Subjek penelitian ini siswa dan guru Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VIII-6 SMP N 38 Medan. Data penelitian ini berupa foto, RPP, silabus, hasil pembelajaran dan catatan hasil wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara tes, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Prosedur penelitian ini menggunakan desain Kemmis Mc Taggart, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil yang ditemukan adalah adanya peningkatan hasil pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks drama dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe STAD setelah melalui dua siklus dengan rincian peningkatan dari 46,67% yang tuntas menjadi 76,67%.

Masalah yang mendasar adalah rendahnya keterampilan menyimak siswa. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dalam bentuk PTK. Subjek penelitian ini siswa dan guru Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Talitakum Medan. Data penelitian ini berupa foto, RPP, silabus, hasil pembelajaran dan catatan hasil wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara tes, wawancara, dan observasi. Prosedur penelitian ini menggunakan desain Kemmis Mc Taggart, yaitu perencanaa, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil yang ditemukan adalah adanya peningkatan hasil pembelajaran keterampilan menyimak cerpen dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe STAD setelah melalui dua siklus dengan rincian peningkatan dari 60,87% yang tuntas menjadi 91,30%.
