Abstract

This research aims to develop a plastic waste pyrolysis tool as an environment-based learning media in SMP Musi Regency. This research is a development research. There are 3 junior high schools used, namely Air Satan Public Middle School, Muara Beliti Public Middle School and Pedang Public Middle School. Learning outcomes of learning media using pyrolysis tools by measuring students' understanding through given questions is greatly improved and average N-Gain (0.81) are included in the high category. Then for the questionnaire students' responses to the learning media pyrolysis tool obtained an average of 89,75% and a guidebook of 87,89% which is in the category of very practical, as well as a guidebook for the feasibility of the contents of 89,81%, the feasibility of serving 92,59% and language eligibility of 88,89%. For the validity level of the pyrolysis tool to the material is 90% and the media is 88,64% and for the validity of the guidebook for the material is 87,5% and the media is 84,37%. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the environment-based pyrolysis tool that was designed, developed is suitable for use as a medium for learning physics on material temperature and heat. In this research, it can also be used to produce fuel substitutes for petroleum that are difficult to renew and the impact on the environment can minimize plastic waste that is very difficult to degrade.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze what efforts were made by school principals in fostering organizational culture and teacher performance in learning. This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques, through observation, interviews and documentation. This research was carried out in Pulau Lebar State Junior High School. The analysis technique used in this study uses descriptive analytic techniques. The results showed (1) Organizational culture in Pulau Lebar State Junior High School in several school activities, family atmosphere, and role models given by the school principal; (2) The principal's efforts in fostering cultural organizations are carried out in two ways, namely the way the principal is shown with the role and responsibility as a leader, and through self-development activities for students. (3) Principal's techniques for improving teacher performance in high-level learning, private meetings, teacher council meetings, work group meetings, and teacher training and coaching.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out whether or not it was significantly effective to apply the Inquiry Based Learning Approach in teaching reading comprehension for the tenth grade students. In this research, the researcher proposed two hypotheses. They were null hypothesis (Ho) and alternative hypothesis (Ha). The method applied was pre-experimental with one group pre-test posttest design. The object of this research consisted of 20 students. The data were collected by means of test consisting 20 items of multiple choices. The data obtained were analyzed through three techniques: 1) Individual Score, 2) Conversion of Individual Score Based on Minimum Mastery Criteria, and 3) Matched t-test. The results of this research shows that the students’ mean score in the pre-test was 60.13 and those in the post-test was 75.25. The result of matched t-test was 5.25, which was higher than t-table value (1.725) of 20 with 95% significant level for one tailed-test. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It means that it was significantly effective in teaching reading to the tenth grade students by applying Based Learning Approach.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning activity of students in accounting subject matter in specialized journals of trading companies. The obstacle experienced by students is the lack of student learning enthusiasm. Both classical and group learning processes are not yet pleasant for students. Alternative problem solving is through the Gallery Walk model. The purpose of this research is to find out how Gallery Walk model learning can encourage students to learn about specialized journals of trading companies more enthusiastically. Data collection uses observation, questionnaires, written tests and deeds. The study was conducted by the classroom action research (CAR) method. subjects 24 high school students 1 Rejang Lebong class XII IPS 2. Data collection techniques using test and observation techniques. Quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. Research results (1) In the first cycle, group learning activities of the first cycle reached 79.55% , the second cycle reached 84.71%, and the third cycle reached 97.32%. This increase shows an increase in group learning activities in participating in learning accounting for the Special Trading Company Journal. (2) Classical learning from cycle I reached 55.83%, cycle II reached 68.33%, and cycle III reached 97.48%. The increase shows an increase in students' enthusiasm for learning in accounting material Journal specifically Gallery Walk learning model an increase in active students from cycle 1, cycle 2 and cycle 3. Increased average learning outcomes followed by mastery learning. Cycle I achieved an average of 59.16 and students completing learning 45.83%, Cycle II achieved an average of 67.08 and students completing learning 54.16%, Cycle III achieved an average of 85.41 and students completing learning 100%, Because mastery learning has been reaching 100% scored> 70-75 then the specified target has been achieved. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded (1) Learning Gallery Walk model can increase learning activities more excited both classical, group and individual.The

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar memahami materi ekonomi akuntansi laporan keuangan perusahaan jasa, pada siswa kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 kepahiang Tahun pelajaran 2019 / 2020, yang merupakan subyek pada penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data pada peneitian ini dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh kerumitan materi, motivasi dan minat belajar, sarana dan prasarana , serta sumber belajar yang kurang memadai. Sebaiknya mengaitkan materi pembelajaran dengan kejadian-kejadian yang biasa dialami oleh pembelajara, harus tercipta suasana kelas yang menyenangkan, penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif, melengkapi sarana dan prasarana serta sumber belajar yang mendukung kegaitan pembelajaran akuntansi laporan keuangan perusahaan jasa.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TKR SMKS 6 Pertiwi Curup yang berjumlah 34 orang. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan lembar tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan tindakan kelas dengan pembelajaran metakognitif terlaksana dengan baik. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa meningkat dapat terlihat dari hasil tes yang diberikan, jika pada hasil pre-test hanya 5 orang siswa yang mencapai kategori baik, maka pada hasil post-test sebanyak 24 orang siswa telah mencapai kategori baik, untuk indikator memecahkan masalah dalam kategori kurang pada pre-tes dan pada post-test hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang diberikan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan. Jika pada hasil pre-test tidak ada satu siswapun mencapai kategori baik, maka pada hasil post-test untuk siklus I sebanyak 11 orang siswa mencapai kategori baik dan pada hasil post-test siklus II sebanyak 28 orang siswa mampu mencapai kategori baik. Berdasarkan indikator keberhasilan, maka penelitian ini bisa dikatakan berhasil. Hal ini dilihat berdasarkan pencapaian tiap-tiap indikator berpkir kreatif dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan kategori baik lebih dari 20 orang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dihentikan sampai siklus II. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa, Pembelajaran Metakognitif

Abstract

This study aims to describe the knowledge of physics teachers about the management of physics laboratories in SMP and SMA Negeri Bengkulu City. This ex-post facto descriptive study used a sample taken with a total sampling method to all physics teachers in SMP and SMA Negeri Bengkulu City. Data were collected using test instruments. The results of this study indicate that the junior high school physics teacher's knowledge about laboratory management is in the sufficient category indicated by the frequency of 35 respondents (64.8%) and the high school physics teacher's knowledge about laboratory management is also in the sufficient category indicated by the frequency of 22 respondents (84.6%). ). Knowledge based on teaching status, either not certified or certified or knowledge based on teaching experience, is in the sufficient category. Meanwhile, knowledge based on the aspects of factual knowledge, conceptual knowledge, procedural knowledge, and metacognition knowledge, the majority of respondents were in the sufficient category. The conclusion from this research is that the knowledge of physics teachers about physics laboratory management in SMP and SMA Negeri Bengkulu city is sufficient.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the types and causes of mistakes made by grade XI IPA students in YABT Manokwari senior high school in resolving questions about matrix operating materials. The type of research used in this research is qualitative descriptive, this type of research is part of qualitative research. In the research subjects, there were as many as 32 students given a description test, then grouped into 3 categories for interviews. The results of the research obtained that the mistakes made by students are as follows: (i) error in organizing data amounted to 29.2%; (ii) a draft error amounted to 37.5%; (iii) error due to carelessness amounted to 54.2%; and (iv) errors in drawing conclusions amounted to 58.3%. The caused of the error was because students were less thorough in reading and interpreting questions, lack of understanding of the concepts to be used, less thorough in doing calculations and rushing so they forgot to conclude the final answer.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) produce PBL-based physics worksheets that are suitable to be used to increase student participation and learning outcomes, (2) examine the increase in participation and learning outcomes of class X students using PBL-based worksheets, and (3) examine the responses of class X students. X after using PBL-based worksheets. This research is a research and development (R & D) using a 4D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of this study are (1) PBL-based physics worksheets are feasible to increase participation and learning outcomes for high school students in class X with very good assessment and reliability based on the alpha coefficient value in LKS I, II, which is 0.935 (special) , 0.972 (special) and the correlation value between raters in LKS I, II is 0.877 (special), 0.946 (special), (2) the increase in student participation and learning outcomes is shown by the standard gain value of 0, respectively. 09 (low) and 0.5 (medium), (3) student responses after using PBL-based physics worksheets were 4.17 and 4.23 both categorized as good.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the feasibility, quality, and characteristics of scientific literacy assessment instruments with electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions, to measure students' scientific literacy skills in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. This study uses the development model of Oriondo and Dallo-Antonio which consists of five stages, namely planning for making assessment instruments, testing instruments, determining empirical validity, determining reliability, and interpreting scores. The initial product of the assessment instrument was validated by two experts, and one chemistry teacher. This research was conducted in three state vocational schools in Lubuklinggau City with a total of 30 students as research subjects. Data collection through developed assessment instruments. The test results of the assessment instrument were analyzed using Rasch's Item Response Theory model with the help of the Winstep 3.73 program. The chemical literacy ability assessment instrument consisting of 25 essay questions was declared feasible and valid with a minimum value of 0.75 and 0.79 on the Aiken index. The results of empirical validation show that 20 items are valid in the analysis of the results of the first trial and there are 17 items as the final product. The final product of the instrument consists of three categories of difficulty, including three items in the difficult category, 12 items in the medium category, and two items in the easy category. The assessment instrument has a high reliability score, namely the Cronbach alpha value of 0.86 in the first trial; 0.92 trial II; and 0.89 in trial III.
