Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memetakan minat siswa terhadap pelajaran Sejarah di SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan triangulasi melalaui 1) pengumpulan data, 2) reduksi data (data reduction), 3) penyajian data (data display), 4) verifikasi (conclusion drawing/verification), 5) menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat yang cukup baik terhadap pelajaran Sejarah karena dari beberapa indikator minat seperti perhatian, kemauan, dan kebutuhan pada pelajaran Sejarah pada umumnya sudah cukup baik. Dari beberapa indikator minat yang diajukan pada umumnya siswa menyenangi pelajaran Sejarah. Faktor guru menjadi penentu dari berminatnya siswa dalam pembelajaran Sejarah, karena guru Sejarah di SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau dalam melakukan pembelajaran sudah dapat menggunakan motede ataupun model pembelajaran yang dapat membangkitkan semangat siswa dalam belajar dan menimbulkan daya tarik siswa dalam belajar Sejarah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 setelah diterapkan model kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu yaitu eksperimen yang dilaksanakan tanpa adanya kelas pembanding. Populasinya siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau yang berjumlah 237 siswa dan sebagai sampel kelas VII3 berjumlah 39 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak (random sampling). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunkan uji-t pada taraf signifikan = 0,05. Dari hasil perhitungan uji-t, post test diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 3,57 > 1,69, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 setelah diterapkan Model Teams Games Tournaments secara signifikan tuntas. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 79,97 dengan persentase jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebesar 82%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of circuit training methods and conventional training methods to the squat-style long jump achievement of high school students in the Lubuklinggau Municipal High School. This type of research is quantitative by using a quasi-experimental method. The population of this study was all of the 9 Public Schools in Lubuklinggau. The sample in this study amounted to 80 students in which 27 students from SMAN 5, 27 students from SMAN 6 and 26 students from SMAN 7 in Lubuklinggau City with a purposive sampling technique. The data collection places at SMAN 5, SMAN 6 and SMAN 7, Lubuklinggau City were conducted from April to June 2019. The data collection technique used was the long jump test and the data analysis technique used was the t-test. The results of this study explain that: The circuit training method has an influence on the improvement of long jump achievement participants in the SMAN extracurricular activities throughout the City of Lubuklinggau, The conventional training method has an influence on improving the long jump achievement of the participants of the SMAN extracurricular activities in the Lubuklinggau City, the circuit training method has an influence better than conventional training methods on the long jump achievement of participants in the extracurricular activities at the Lubuklinggau Municipal High School.

Abstract

SSCS learning model in which this learning model involves students, so that students can be more active and think critically to solve, search for, infer results and expand knowledge in finding and solve problems in the problem. This study aims to determine the effect of Search Solve Create And Share (SSCS) Learning of the mathematical problem-solving ability of students of SMP Negeri 28 Palembang. This research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all class VIII at SMPN 28 Palembang. Where the sample in this study was taken only two classes, class VIII 4 with 32 students for the experimental class and given treatment in the form of a Search Solve Create And Share (SSCS) model, while class VIII 3 as many as 32 students as a control class and given conventional learning treatment. This research instrument consisted of tests of mathematical problem-solving abilities in the form of essay questions. Data were analyzed using a t-test (independent sample t-test) Shows that a significant value (2-tailed) is obtained = 0.017. based on the criteria that sig = 0.017 ≤ 0.025 then H0 is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that there was an effect of Search Solve Create And Share (SSCS) learning on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students of SMPN 28 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ learning activeness and improve students' English learning achievement after using Think Pair Share model. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (Action Reseach) using 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: design, activity and observation, reflection. The instruments used was the observation sheets of teaching and learning activeness and English test. The research results of students' English learning activeness could be seen from the indicators: a) asking questions, ideas or pre-cycle responses 22.86% in the first cycle 45.57% and in the second cycle 96.67%. b) answer the pre-cycle questions 17.14% in the first cycle 45.71% and in the second cycle 71.43%. c) do the tasks and dare to advance in front of the pre-cycle class 25.71% in the first cycle 51.43% and in the second cycle 74.28%. d) refute or approve other students’ pre-cycle 11.43% cycle I 40% and cycle II 65.71%. Then, the results of students’ learning achievement in English could be seen from the indicator of the average value of students has increased in each cycle in the cycle average of student scores of 56.53 then in the first cycle to 67.84 and in the second cycle of 81, 31. The results showed that there were improvement of students’ activities and English achievement of the ninth grade students of SMP Negeri Maur through the think pair share learning model. Therefore, the use of think pair share learning model could increase the activeness and achievement of students' English learning in SMPN Maur in the academic year of 2019/2020. Abstract

Students who lack life skills will tend to be difficult to achieve success. This study aims to determine the comparison of life skills of students whose learning uses Scaffolding and Articulation learning models by paying attention to students' Emotional Quetions (EQ). The research method used was quasi-experimental with a comparative approach. The research design used is treatment by level. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII MTs NU 5 Sekampung East Lampung. Testing the hypothesis of this study used a two-way variance analysis formula and two independent sample t-tests. The results of this study indicate (1) There are differences in life skills between students whose learning uses the Scaffolding and Articulation models in Integrated Social Studies subjects, (2) Life skills whose learning using the Scaffolding model is higher than using the Articulation model for students who have Emotional Quetions ( EQ) is high, (3) Life skills learning using the Articulation model is higher than using Scaffolding models for students who have low Emotional Quetions (EQ), (4) There is an interaction between the use of learning models and Emotional Quetions (EQ) on life skills .

Abstract

The use of ICT devices for teaching English is much needed right now, because it can attract students’ motivation in learning. It is very helpful especially for pre-service teachers, the novice teachers. The aims of this research were to investigate the use of ICT devices for teaching English by Pre-service teachers, describe the ICT devices frequently used for teaching English by pre-service teachers, find out students’ perceptions towards the use of ICT devices for teaching English by pre-service teachers. This research was employed through a mixed-methods approach that integrated qualitative and quantitative research design. The data handled quantitatively were gathered via the online questionnaire, and qualitative data were collected via the semi-structured interviews and observation to the 24 pre-service teachers. The result of research showed that there were three ways in using ICT devices in teaching English during teaching practice program. First, most of pre-service teachers always used ICT devices as the source of teaching material. Second, most of them often used ICT devices as the instructional teaching. The last most of pre-service teachers always used ICT devices as the communication tools. The ICT devices frequently used during teaching English were smartphone, computer, and in focus. Most students absolutely agree if pre-services teachers use ICT devices for teaching English because it was advantageous toward students’ English competences. It can be concluded that there were three ways of pre-service teachers used ICT devices during teaching practice program; mostly as the source of teaching materials, as the instructional teaching, and as the communication tools. Three ICT devices frequently used by pre-service teachers during teaching practice program were smartphone, computer, and in focus. Students absolutely agree towards the use of ICT devices by pre-service teachers in teaching English.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) to design speaking materials using task based language teaching for SMK Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau and (2) to describe the strengths and the weaknesses of the speaking materials using Task Based Language teaching for SMK Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau. This research include to Educational Research and Development (R&D) using a simplified six steps of Borg and Gall’s model (1983). The result present that the product relies much on pertaining the KD of 2013 curriculum and the teacher expected that the students need to increase speaking skill since they have opportunity to speak English. The speaking materials were in line with students wants. The strengths of this product helped students to improve their speaking skill especially the vocabularies, the language function and the grammar used in spoken language. The tasks can attract the students to actively involve the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this Classroom Action Research is to find out how rotating role learning techniques canimprove the drama playing skills of VIII C grade students of Sungai Jauh Middle School. This research is aclassroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: (1) planning,(2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The instruments used in this study were field notes,observation sheets, questionnaires, and assessment sheets. Data analysis was performed using qualitativedescriptive techniques supported by quantitative data. The results showed that the use of the rotating roleslearning technique was able to improve the drama playing skills of students in class VIII C of Sungai RemoteMiddle School. Based on the field notes and observational guidelines, there was a change in students'positive direction. Improved drama playing skills can be seen from two things, namely the success of theprocess and the product. The success of the process can be seen from the changes in students' attitudes after the action implementation is held, students are more active, enthusiastic, have the courage to expressopinions, and are able to work with other students. The success of the product is seen from the playingpractice tests. "The average value of playing student drama before implementing the action is 49.46, cycle I"is 63.5 and in cycle "II is 78.14." The data shows that the drama playing skills of students from pre-action tocycle II has increased by 28.68. Some aspects that show the most significant improvement are aspects ofexpression, motion, and intonation.

Abstract

Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan hambatan-hambatan dalam pembinaan peserta didik serta upaya mengatasi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan pembinaan peserta didik di SMP Negeri Sungai Jauh. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri Sungai Jauh Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara. Subyek penelitian ini adalah Pembantu Kepala Sekolah bidang Kesiswaan, Pembantu Kepala Sekolah bidang Sarana dan prasarana, Koordinator OSIS, Koordinator ekstrakurikuler, dan Koordinator BK. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1). Perencanaan pembinaan peserta didik di SMP Negeri Sungai Jauh dilakukan setiap awal tahun pelajaran baru yaitu dengan mengadakan rapat perencanaan kegiatan pembinaan peserta didik yang menghasilkan program kerja pembinaan peserta didik di sekolah yang meliputi kegiatan OSIS, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan layanan BK 2). Pelaksanaan pembinaan peserta didik di SMP Negeri Sungai Jauh masih ada kegiatan pembinaan peserta didik yang tidak terlaksana antara lain kegiatan OSIS meliputi kesenian dan majalah dinding, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler meliputi kegiatan PMR dikarenakan kurangnya fasilitas dan pembina kegiatan 3). Evaluasi pembinaan peserta didik di SMP Negeri Sungai Jauh yaitu menilai proses pelaksanaan kegiatan pembinaan peserta didik di sekolah dan menilai hasil kegiatan pembinaan peserta didik di sekolah yang di lakukan oleh kepala sekolah setiap akhir tahun pelajaran 4). Hambatan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembinaan peserta didik di SMP Negeri Sungai Jauh meliputi kurangnya personil, kurangnya fasilitas, serta kurangnya perhatian dari peserta didik. Upaya untuk mengatasinya dengan mengoptimalkan personil yang ada di sekolah, mengoptimalkan fasilitas yang ada di sekolah, dan adanya pengarahan dari koordinator, dan guru dalam mengatasi peserta didik yang kurang perhatian.
