Abstract

So far we always blame Satan in every sin that we repeatedly commit. But we realize that the temptation of Satan is very weak. Then why can people be so easily plunged into the abyss of sins many times. This question will be discussed thoroughly in the interpretation of Syeikh Mutawalli al-Sya'rāwi in his tafseer book. This research is a character study and manuscript study (tafseer), namely analyzing the texts related to this discussion, with the aim to explain, explain, and reveal the contents of the scriptures so that the message contained therein can be understood and practiced according to the figures studied. The results of this study found that it turns out that in us there is an enemy from within who has the biggest role in every sin committed, his name is nafs ammarah bi as-su͂k.

Abstract

The age development made the concept of zuhud experience a shifting paradigm. In the beginning of its development, zuhud was understood which was ignoring the world and more concerned with the afterlife. Then, comes the new paradigm that the concept of zuhud is no longer distancing the world and is more likely to be hereafter. However, the zuhud that develops is transforming the values of divinity in daily life in order to create social piety, and balance between the life of the world and the hereafter. This is also called Millennial Zuhud. Millennial Zuhud requires that people not only have good relations with God (habblumminallah), but also good relations with humans (habblumminannas) and nature. Zuhud millennial is close to the world because humans live in the world and are close to God because this human purpose was created. Life of the world does not neglect closeness with God. The concept of zuhud like this can be seen in the hadith. The zuhud values contained in the hadith are tawazun (balance), social piety, patience, gratitude, and qanaah.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the concept of human philosophy which is an integral part of the philosophical system, which specifically or specifically highlights the nature or essence of human. The method used is analytical descriptive by looking at the opinions of a number of philosophers about human concepts. The results obtained indicate that human essence is material / physical occupy space and time, has breadth and is objective so that it can be measured, calculated, and observed. In terms of its natural position, human beings occupy this position as God's creatures, but they are also beings that can stand on their own, so in fact it can be said that humans have a social nature that can be called "zoon politicon" (the desire to live together). In terms of the nature of human has an individual nature, but this individual also definitely needs help from others.

Abstract

This paper aims to see the modern human side is experiencing various acute crises, which originated from the spiritual crisis that befell them, as a result of the development of western technology that is not aligned with esoteric values. The science and technology that has been worshiped thus becomes a trigger for humans by flowing the increasingly powerful flow of globalization and information, science eventually becomes the ruler and dominates nature. On the other hand there are some groups of the world community there are also those who have started to get bored even disgusted with the life of glamoristic, materialistic, hedonistic, unhealthy competition, greed, arrogance, sadism, violence and so on. The method used in this paper is to analyze Sayyed Hosein Nasr's thoughts with a qualitative-descriptive approach. The results obtained from this release are Sufism is the right way to answer the various problems faced by the modern world. Sufism that does not leave material physical life. The meaning of uzlah (self-exile), hold hermitage) and khalwah (solitude) is interpreted in spirit or soul, not in physical material. The theme of exile arises from within the souls of modern humans to remind them of the deepest spiritual needs. Therefore sufism is the right way to fill the emptiness of the human soul as a result which leads to western oriented and material oriented.

Abstract

Indonesia sedang menanti generasi emas melalui bonus demografi pada dua dekade yang akan datang. Peluang ini segera mendapatkan tantangan utama dari banyaknya kasus penyimpangan seksual yang terjadi pada anak. Melalui analisis tematik terhadap ayat-ayat al-Quran yang berbicara tentang penyimpangan seksual, maka penulis menawarkan gagasan implementasi konsep tsalatsu ‘auratin sebagai bentuk preventif terhadap perilaku penyimpangan seksual pada anak dengan landasar QS. An-Nur ayat 58. Implementasi penerapan izin bagi anak yang belum baligh untuk memasuki kamar orang tuanya pada tiga waktu yaitu sebelum shalat Subuh, setelah shalat Dzuhur, dan setelah shalat Isya. Tiga waktu tersebut adalah waktu istirahat di mana orang tua biasa melepas baju luar yang menutup ‘aurat mereka. Impelementasi konsep tsalatsu ‘auratin ini akan sangat berdampak positif pada perkembangan mental anak di masa yang akan datang. Adapun langkah aplikatif dalam penerapan konsep tersebut adalah dengan empat langkah yaitu: pengenalan pada anak usia 0 – 5 tahun, pemahaman pada anak usia 5 – 7 tahun, pembiasaan pada anak usia 7 – 10 tahun, dan penerapan pada anak yang berusia 10 tahun.

Abstract

This article, particularly, discusses about the points of Ibn Rusyd thought in his work entitled Faṣl al-Maqāl Fīmā Baina al-Ḥikmah wa al-Syarī‘ah min al-Ittiṣāl. This work is one of the original and important works belonging to Ibn Rusyd, besides of his other three main works, namely al-Kasyf ‘an Manāhij al-Adillah fī ‘Aqāid al-Millah, Tahāfut al-Tahāfut and Bidāyah al-Mujtahid wa Nihāyah al-Muqtaṣid. Faṣl al-Maqāl was written by him as a response to the intellectual condition in his era, that was the war of thought (gazwah al-fikr) between a group that rejected philosophy, that was spearheaded by jurisprudence experts (fuqahā’) and a group of philosophers. Hence, Ibn Rusyd as a supreme judge (qāḍī al-quḍāt) at that moment, felt the need to reconcile them by showing that there was no opposition and there was nothing to contradict between religion and philosophy. This work was also intended to purify the philosophical thought of Aristoteles. There are three points of Ibn Rusyd thought in Faṣl al-Maqāl: first, reconciling between philosophy and syari’ah; second, ta’wil as a method that was offered by him to find the common ground of the two entities; third, explanation about the central issues that become the reason for the conflict between philosophers and a group that rejected philosophy. From the explanations of Ibn Rusyd, it seemed that he was affected by the other figures like Aristoteles and the early Muslim philosophers. Some of the issues contained in this book are also commented and criticized by the authorities or scholars who studied Ibn Rusyd thought.

Abstract

This paper contains a spiritual crisis that is running rampant in modern times. Because modernization not only encourages economic progress, technology and science but also creates a spiritual crisis that makes life feel empty, and meaningless. The purpose of this paper is to understand what are the main problems that caused the spiritual crisis and how Islamic psychotherapy comes from the teachings of the Qur'an and the Traditions of the Holy Prophet. and a life of Sufism that continues to strive to draw closer to God Almighty can be a solution in overcoming the spiritual crisis suffered by modern humans today. Sufism with its zuhud attitude will eliminate the fetters of love of the world that undermine the human soul and Islamic psychotherapy will be able to fill the empty human heart and empty with spiritual values that have been lost from him.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang pemaknaan terhadap hadits, mulai dari cikal bakal nya sampai pada transformasinya di zaman sekarang. karena sering ditemukan sebuah teks hadits menggunakan bahasa yang tidak mudah dipahami atau memiliki makna yang masih samar-samar sehingga diperlukan sebuah penafsiran yang tepat dan jelas agar hadits tersebut mudah dipahami untuk dijadikan sebagai pedoman dan acuan hiidup umat muslim di dunia. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Cikal bakal terjadinya pemaknaan terhadap hadits yaitu dilatar belakangi oleh adanya hadits gharib yakni hadits yang belum jelas atau masih samar-samar, yang kemudian ditafsirkan dan dituangkan dalam kitab Gharib al-Hadits dengan metode tahlili, ijmali, dan muqarrin dan lebih cenderung meggunakan pendekatan kebahasaan. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu dan pesatnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan menyebabkan munculnya berbagai metode dan pendekatan baru dalam menafsirkan sebuah hadits, di antaranya yaitu metode hermeneutika dan pendekatan sosiologis. Jadi, makna yang timbul akan jauh lebih sesuai dengan zaman, karena metode dan pendekatan tersebut mencoba menafsirkan hadits bukan hanya dari sisi tekstual namun juga dari segi kontekstualnya.

Abstract

This article examines NU which is an organizational structure among Muslims who have trends in applying Islamic law. One of the foundations of the Nahdlatul  Ulama in establishing Islamic law has never been separated from the context of the Qur'an, Hadith, Ijma 'of the Companions and Qiyas. So the outline in taking the source of Islamic law is related to the hadith problem which is made as a reference in the sense of Nu in using hadith as the legal basis for four schools, moreover the usual lower hadith, dha'if hadith is used as a source search method law. Taking in the community often discussed the system of extracting Islamic legal sources. We will analyze this short article by analyzing the methods that are used at the same time in order to find out the hadiths used in applying the source of Islamic. The results of this study show that the hadith in the perspective of NU scholars is as a reference to Islamic law and that the hadith has a strong blasphemy based on the study of sanad, matan, and rawi as well as the quality and quantity of hadith based on methods in attributing Islamic law.Keywords: NahdlatulUlama, Hadith, Method.

Abstract

In the last decade, Indonesian Millennial Muslims have a tendency to choose Islamism as their life trend, so as it becomes a problem in the life of a plural Indonesian people. By using the ushul fiqh approach, data collection techniques using library research and content analysis techniques, this study shows that first, the genealogy of the paradigm of Islamism that develops in Indonesia does not always have a negative connotation that means radicalism, but the paradigm of Islamism among Millennial Muslims in Indonesia has turned out to be a medium for packaging and spreading the paradigm of popular Islamism. Therefore, there is a correlation between the jargon carriers of Islamism and its products. Second, the birth of the paradigm of Islamism among millennial Muslims occurred because of the existence of culture, learning ethos and social media and electronics that have encouraged the birth of the paradigm of Islamism, so that it has brought a new trend that supports an increasingly massive and popular Islamic life with innovative and creative packaging.Third, the implications of the paradigm of Islamism among Millennial Muslims have had positive and negative impacts.The positive impact is that Islamism encourages millennial Muslim generations to learn, understand and practice the teachings of Islam in a comprehensive manner as well as popular Islamic understanding which is in accordance with maqashid al-shari'ah, while the negative impact is that the encouragement of learning, understanding and practicing religious teachings Islam in a comprehension that is exposed to the understanding of radicalism-intolerant can actually lead to intolerant attitudes and behaviour, even radicalism that is contrary to the Maqashid al-Shari'ah
