Abstract

This article is motivated by the understanding of some people not to say everything about Surah an-Nisa '(4): 3 as one of the legitimacy of the practice of polygamy. This understanding is reinforced by the practice of polygamy carried out by the Prophet and the interpretation of the majority of scholars who provide a strong reason for the practice of polygamy. Some contemporary scholars try to reconstruct this understanding by approaching the Qur'an contextually. This article uses Abdullah Saeed's contextual approach as the lens of analysis to find the main purpose of the verse. As a result, the writer found that sura 4: 3 is not a verse that emphasizes the practice of polygamy, but rather emphasizes caring for orphans and doing justice to others. In line with the main purpose of the verse, then in the context of Indonesia, marrying them (orphans in the interpretation of Al-Tabari and other classical scholars. While according to Muhammad Syahrur, Nashr Hamid Abu Zayd is an orphan's parent) is not a way to give a sense of security and protection for them, because the state has guaranteed freedom and security for orphans and women with the presence of KPAI and KOMNAS for women and there are many institutions and organizations that are concerned with caring for orphans.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the main milestones of the method used by Muhammad al-Ghazali to reveal the Qur'anic maqasid by answering a number of questions as follows: Does al-Ghazali have a special method in approaching the Qur'anic maqasid? If it turns out there really is a special method, what are the advantages and characteristics of the method? What are the main features? How far the method was successfully applied in several studies and studies of the Koran. This research aims to explore the main milestones of the method used by Muhammad al-Ghazali to reveal the Qur'anic maqasid by answering a number of questions as follows: Does al-Ghazali have a special method in approaching the Qur'anic maqasid? If it turns out there really is a special method, what are the advantages and characteristics of the method? What are the main features? How far the method has been successfully applied in several studies and studies of the Koran. The result s showed that al-Ghazali offered five methods to be able to reveal the qur’anic maqasid. First, deep reflection on the qur’anic texts and optimizing reason. Second, the use of two mechanisms at the same time, namely inductive thinking and analysis, and tracking various texts and signs that indicate the existence of maqasid. Third, a thorough reading of the revelation texts so that they are holostic, not literal and sectarian. Fourth, always mingle with the Koran while interrogating the verses to explore the depth of their meaning. Fifth, devoting the ability to produce fiqh of reality

Abstract

In al-Qur'an, it is stated that there is the ability of a husband to beat his wife when he is defieding, that skill is sometimes used as a legitimacy for domestic violence, without understanding that ability has the terms and conditions set by the Qur'an and hadith. There are even people who do not know that there is a verse that allows the beating, what if the wife of Husband with the existing provisions, they only determine that the husband is the leader and head of the family that must be obeyed, therefore the husband does not have the right to beat the wife. This study tries to uncover the community's understanding of the verse that melts the husband who hits an incoherent wife with the household problems that exist in the community by using a sociological and psychological approach and a text approach with the study of family fiqh. The results showed there was no relevance between violence or beating of the wife with the understanding of ayat Q.S: al-Nisa ': 34:, because the violence occurred by itself because of ego factors, lack of knowledge and understanding of religious teachings, lack of education and culture or culture or tradition

Abstract

Responsibility is a substantial thing. Almost at least a large part of welfare is determined by implementing responsibilities. This article explores the story of the Prophet Yūnus in the Qur'an related to the Responsibility Statement. Through the Abdullah Saeed hermeneutics method this research aims to reveal the significance and value of the hierarchy in the story of the Prophet Yūnus contained in the QS. al-Ṣāffāt verses 139-148. The results of this study reveal that in the story of the prophet Yūnus has significance in the form of tasliyyah (entertainment) specifically for the prophet Muhammad's task and the da'wah of Islam in general. The significance of the story of the prophet Yūnus has three urgencies namely Not running away from the responsibilities that have been mandated, not abusing authority, and being patient and polite in Da'wah Facing the people.

Abstract

The rapid development of the times has positive and negative impacts on life. Moral and spiritual degradation is one of the negative impacts that emerge like humans living without a clear purpose. Resulting in high crime both drug abuse, juvenile delinquency and so on. These problems make humans a cause as well as those responsible for solving them. Meanwhile conceptually the problem is closely related to personality problems or in Islam is called morals. The purpose of this study is to describe and review the concepts of Sufism and its relevance in everyday life. This research is a Library ResearchBecause of that the data source is in the form of library materials such as books, journals and scientific articles. In accordance with the type, the data collection in this study uses library research methods which are analyzed using the method of description and data analysis . The h acyl of pe nelitian this is maqamat and ahwal shown are by Abu Nasr al-Sarraj, the author of Al-Luma ': Reference Complete Science of Sufism , which maqamat that there are seven, namely: repentance, wara, ascetic, fakir, patient, trust, and pleasure. The ahwal are muraqabah , mahabbah, khauf, raja', syauq,' uns, tuma'ninah, musyahadah , and sure. The relevance of the concepts of Sufism to present life is that these concepts will become a guideline for achieving a true approach to God.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an text that 'lives' in society as a phenomenon that is called the Living Qur'an. This paper aims to describe the views and understanding of the Bengkulu Muslim Biker Community on migrating and provide an overview of the practice of migrating in the Muslim Biker Community. This paper is field research that uses the Living Qur'an approach and phenomenology with qualitative descriptive methods. To obtain data, this research was conducted by observation, interview and documentation. The findings in this study are: First, this community was formed as a place to accommodate bikers to become better personal, including reducing the negative image in the community. Then the migration becomes necessary for the intended change. The hijrah understood by this community is change and movement. Namely changes and transfers from actions that are not in accordance with religious teachings to actions that can draw closer to God. Hijrah is also understood as passing away in the sense of leaving kufr and things that are not in accordance with religious teachings and passing away to the actual path. This meaning is in line with the understanding of Muslims in general. Second, as for the form of migrant practice in Bengkulu Biker Muslim community, researchers are limited to three things, namely 1). Perform prayers, departing from the reading and interpretation of QS. al-Baqarah / 2: 43, QS. al-Ankabut / 29: 45. 2). Love giving alms and giving alms based on QS. al-Baqarah / 2: 2, 110, 195 and 268. 3). Establish brotherhood and care for others based on QS. al-Hujurat / 49: 10.

Abstract

According to observers of Islamic thought, Fazlur Rahman is a figure whose thoughts are categorized as neomodernism, a pattern of thought that combines modern and traditional thought. Modernism, according to this pattern, is not something to be rejected, but modernism does not mean that the nature of traditionalism must be set aside. This is certainly in line with the Islamic thought of Fazlur Rahman who is always in developing his thoughts to see the development of past thoughts. In some cases, even the two realms of thought (modernism and traditionalism) can go hand in hand. If people follow Fazlur Rahman's way of thinking in all his works according to Syafi'i Ma'arif, people will know that he is very interested in developing the awareness of Muslims about their historical responsibilities with a solid moral foundation. This foundation can only be created if the Koran as a source of perfect moral teaching is understood in full and unified. This true and complete understanding must be done through a methodology that can be accounted for in a religious and scientific manner. According to Rahman, without an accurate and correct methodology, an understanding of the content of the Qur'an may be misleading, especially when approached partially and separately.

Abstract

The discussion of reward is often the object of aqidah study for theologians and scholars of kalam. Therefore, in this study the author makes the interpretation of Al-Kasyaf by al-Zamakhsyari (467-538 H) as an object of study that leads to a more complete and deeper study of the science of kalam. In the interpretation of Al-Kasyaf, al-Zamakhsyari uses logic more and this is what is used as a material for criticism by some scholars as material for defending the muktazilah understanding that he believes in. Sometimes he berates the leading priests astray, especially if they have an opinion that contradicts him. This paper tries to describe Zamakhsyari's interpretation of the reward in the perspective of the Koran from Tafsir Al-Kasyaf from the word al-ajr. This paper uses the maudhu'i method through an approach to understanding the characters in his work. The results of the study show that the term ajr that appears in the Koran is always related to human actions in good things or about goodness. The existence of ajr from Allah Swt cannot be separated from the role of human good deeds. Various virtues that are present with Ajr, besides the goodness mentioned earlier, there are other virtues, such as piety and patience, striving in the way of Allah, and always remembering Allah. Although ajr is closely related to the good deeds that have been done, the source of ajr itself is essentially from Allah Swt.

Abstract

Qurratul Uyun is a book in which many explain about marriage. The book created by Syaih Muhammad al-Tahami bin Madani. The book is widely found and taught in the huts of salaf boarding schools in order to provide knowledge that is populated for student who want to get married. One discussion in the Qurratul Uyun is about intimate relationships include the right day and the inappropriate for intercourse, intercourse and intercourse reward. The discussions are explained by quoting the Prophet's hadiths to corroborate the discussion. However, the hadith which is used as the foundation is not all shahih but there are some hadits whose quality is dha’if even maudhu’. The method used in this paper is the method of library research where more refers to the sources of books in the form of books of hadith and books biography of the hadith narration in researching the quality of the hadith. After a thorough study, it was found that not all of the hadiths of intimacy mentioned in the Qurratul Uyun are worth dha’if. There are some who are shahih and can be used as a legal basis. But there are also some hadith intimacy in the book that is worth dha’if so it can’t be used as a legal basis. Some of the hadiths are also worth dha’if but supported with other hadiths of better quality so that can still be the basis of law and its content can be practiced.

Abstract

Manusia itu, pada dasarnya mempunyai kecenderungan pada perbuatan yang menyukai nilai-nilai kebajikan namun dalam proses perkembangannya, manusia banyak dipengaruhi oleh lingkungannya, Allah sendiri telah menggariskan bahwa di dalam diri manusia itu terdapat kecenderungan dua arah yaitu perbuatan yang menyimpang dari peraturan dan yang menta’ati peraturan-peraturan. Manusia juga disamping mempunyai kecenderungan yang disebut diatas, ia juga mempunyai kebebasan untuk memilih antara dua jalan, yaitu yang benar dan yang sesat. Oleh sebab itu manusia dapat saja keliru dalam memilih  dan menilai sesuatu perbuatan yang baik, karena faktor kurangnya pengetahuan, lingkungan. Mengingat kemungkinan kesalahan  atau kekeliruan manusia dalam memilih dan menilai perbuatan baik, maka Allah mengajarkan kepada manusia tentang kebaikan dengan menyebut dan menginformasikan lewat al-Qur’an yang diturunkan kepada nabi Muhammad saw dalam beberapa term. Di antara term tersebut adalah kata ihsan dan term-term lainnya. Untuk lebih mendalam mengenai wawasan al-Qur’an tentang ihsan, maka makalah ini akan membahas wawasan al-Qur’an mengenai ihsan atau kebaikan.
