Abstract

Customer loyalty is a key factor and important in maintaining and increasing the company’s revenue growth and profitability. Therefore, almost allcompanies constantly strive to keep its customers to be loyal to the company. Someopinions and results of some studies found that the key of the company’s success isin maintaining customer loyalty, quality of services and customer satisfaction, so inthis study is intended to analyze the role of customer satisfaction as a mediator of theeffects of service quality on customer loyalty. This study is took place at a companyengaged in manufacturing of agricultural producers of traditional medicine andhealth, namely PT . Karya Pak Oles Tocker, located at Jalan Komodo No. 38 - XDenpasar - Bal . This research was supported by75 respondents who are determinedbased on a Slovin formula, and processed with Partial Least Square method throughSmartPLS 2.0 M3 , the first-order approach, with the 95% confidence level. Theresults showed that no significant effect of service quality on customer loyalty, butshowed a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. In other parts,customer satisfaction is a significant positive effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

Income smoothing practices is a common phenomenon and is one of the earnings management that is defined as a reduction in income likely fluctuations from year to year by moving income from year to year high earnings to periods that are less favorable. This study aimed to examine the influence of NPM, ROA, firm size and financial leverage on the income smoothing on companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses Eckel index to classify companies that do or do not do income smoothing practices. The sample used in this study were 68 companies listed on the Stock Exchange within three years from 2012 to 2014 with the selection purposive sampling method. The statistical analysis used in this study with descriptive statistics and logistic regression results from Eckel index menunjukkanadanya income smoothing practices undertaken by companies listed on the Stock Exchange. In the multivariate analysis of the four independent variables, it turns out all the variables significantly influence income smoothing practices.

Abstract

Human factors arethe main functionswithin eachactivity. Allactions takenmust be initiated by the human members of the organization. Denpasar DistrictSecretariat offi ceis one of the functions of Government Agencies organizationofcommunity serviceto be onefocus of attention in performance improvement. One keyfactor to increase or decrease the performance of employees is the role of a leaderwhois able to provide motivation for employees.The purposeof this studyto determineand analyze the patterns of leadership and employee performance.In this study data collection through questionnaires proportional random sampling with a sample size of 57 employees, and analyzed using simple correlation analysis,signifi cant test, simple regression analysis anddetermination, with using programSPSS16.0 For Windows, based on the resultsof research and discussion suggeststhat there relationships and infl uences are very strong andsignifi cant relationshipbetween leadership variablesonthe variable performance of employees in the Offi ceof the Regional Secretariat of Denpasar.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the Kopi Bubuk Bali Banyuatis market. Themarket segments of Kopi Bubuk Bali Banyuatis is formulated through the data analysisof consumer’s behavioral and psychographic by the method of Cluster Analysisusing the K-Means Cluster subsequent cross tabulated with demographics. Theresults: Segment-1, (42.9%), predominantly male, middle-aged, high schooleducation, self-employed and middle-income. Consumer behavior, consumptionlevels often, the readiness to buy is very high because they understood the product,be positive about the product, and its benefits. Psychographic consumer, includingthe category of active, modern, optimistic, and relatively established. Incomerate varies from lower class to upper class. Such a potential segment as markettarget. Segment-2, (35.7%), male-dominated, younger age, high school education,private employees, and middle-income.Consumer behavior, consumption levels arerare, the readiness to buy is moderate, attitudes toward products and its benefits ispositive. Psychographic consumer, simple and optimistic. Considerable potential asa market target after segment-1. Segment-3, (21.4%), male-dominated, middle-aged,high school education, private employees, and middle-income.Consumer behavior,consumption levels are very rare, low readiness to buy, attitude towards the productand itsbenefits is negative. Psychographic consumer, logical, normative, homely andthus less potential as a market target . Based on size and market structure and theobjectives and resources of the company, the segment-1 was chosen as the targetmarket by the company. By understanding market segmentation and know its customers, the policy will beeasier to be taken in marketing the products. Selection of promotion strategies willbe more focused, able to provide satisfaction and increase customer loyalty.

Abstract

The problem of poverty is one of the problems that has become the center of attention of the government in any country. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the KUBE program in Sangeh Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, in addition to knowing the impact of the program in increasing family income and employment opportunities.The measured effectiveness of the input variables includes: socialization, the accuracy of the type of assistance, the timeliness of providing assistance, the accuracy of the amount of assistance and the accuracy of the target. Furthermore the process variables include social guidance and training, mentoring, follow-up guidance, response to complaints,monitoring and evaluation, while output variables include family income and employment opportunities. The sampling method in this study used a saturated sample.Furthermore, the analysis technique used in this study is to apply descriptive and inferential statistical methods.The results of the analysis show that the KUBE program in Sangeh Village is very effective at 85.83 percent. Based on the t-test, the average difference in income and employment opportunities per KUBE participant showed significant results at 5 percent alpha. From the results of the study,KUBE participants'income and employment opportunities increased after receiving the KUBE program assistance.

Abstract

Standard costing is predetermine cost which must expenditured to produceunit product or to paid special operation. Standard cost systems was design to costcontrol, be important tool to evaluate judgement that was setting. The aims of thisresearch were : (1) To knew cost of good manufactured stoneware that main rawmaterial of kalimantan blend by standard cost systems; and (2) To knew usefull ofstandard costing for business decision. The research results shew that : (1) Costof good manufactured stoneware that main raw material of kalimantan blend bystandard cost systems was various base on the composition use. The smallest costof good manufactured stoneware was XID composition about Rp 1.628,02 each kgand the biggest was FRC-1 composition about Rp 2.028,68 each kg. Cost of goodmanufactured stoneware by the standard cost systems was bigger than actual costsystems, because there were different into computation ways of raw material, differentloading of direct labour cost, and different loading of manufacturing overhead cost,except the XID composition was smaller; (2) Standard cost application is very usefulinto business decision making for stoneware product, that is : a) As a tool of control,b) As a tool of decision making, c) As a tool of rational cost measurement, and d) Asa tool of recording cost economizing.

Abstract

Along with the development of the organization, various things arise related to human resources. Today the high level of employee turnover has become a serious problem for many companies. One of the efforts made by the company to reduce turnover is increasing employee satisfaction with the company, another factor that also influences turnover intention is organizational commitment. This study aims to determine the Effect of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment to Turnover Intention. Respondents in this study were 88 respondents. Analysis tools that are multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction and negative organizational commitment to turnover intention.

Abstract

Green marketing refers to the satisfaction of the needs, wants and desiresof customers in relation to the maintenance and preservation of the environment.The benefits obtained with the green marketing is to produce products that use rawmaterials that are environmentally friendly (green product). This research wasconducted in the Carrefour shopping center and Hardy’s. The number of samplestaken are 100 responden, using purposive sampling and accidental sampling. Theanalysis technique used is path analysis. Based on the results of research conductedfound that green marketing affect positively and significantly related to perceivedvalue, green marketing affect positively and significantly related to purchaseintention, perceived value affect positively and significantly related to purchaseintention, and perceived value to mediated a positive and significant effect of greenmarketing to the purchase intention.
