Abstract

Tourist attraction as one of the pillars of the rapidly developing tourism industry is an element that plays an important role in people's lives. This tourist attraction has a good role in the economic sector, social to education for the community. The existence of this tourist attraction is inseparable with the generation of plastic waste that is now a part of every community life. The emergence of plastic waste has become a classic problem that must be an important concern for today's society so that it does not become a bad legacy for life in the future. Concern about the generation of plastic waste must start early. Proper education especially in the modern digital era, learning must be packaged in an interesting form. This research is expected to provide a concept form of education for early childhood about plastic waste sorting and can provide awareness in waste management.

Abstract

Early childhood has a unique personality. Children have a high curiosity, and become good imitators in their daily life through stimulus with their senses. It indicates the child's growth and development normally. One of them is the ability to speak from their birth as a communication tool. The first language of a child is the mother language or language used daily in the family and also the surrounding environment. As their development, children gain knowledge using second, third language, and so on. A second language acquisition in children will be more effective by using learning media. The media is used to deliver messages from the sender to the addressee so that it stimulates the child's thoughts, feelings and attention. In terms of the second language acquisition of the child, appropriate media for children's effectiveness in achieving language acquisition are grouped into three major groups, namely: 1) Visual Media, 2) Audio Media, and 3) Audiovisual Media. Visual media are media in the form of images and tend to use the sense of sight, be it unmoved object or miniature object. While audio media is a media that relies on children’s additives (hearing). Audiovisual media is a combination of visual media and audio media which is better known as video. This learning media is able to stimulate children’s stimulus in acquiring a second language significantly.

Abstract

Conflicts and acts of violence due to intolerance in Indonesia are still quite high, both in the social and educational environment. Intolerance is suspected to occur due to childhood habits, therefore internalization of tolerance values from an early age blaze as one solution that can be done to overcome this problem of intolerance. Internalization of tolerance values from an early age is expected to be able to form tolerant individuals so that the level of conflict and violence that occurs due to intolerance will decrease. One of the things that parents and teachers can do to maximize the internalization of tolerance values in early childhood is to apply the psychology of communication in the process of internalization. The application of communication psychology will help early childhood achieve : (1) understanding, (2) pleasure, (3) change in attitude, (4) good social relations, and (5) actions related to tolerance values.

Abstract

Education is a very important aspect in the life of each individual, because through education human will get knowledge that can be used in their life. Education can be obtained in various ways, one of them is through the school, where the character of each child is expected to be formed since an early childhood. However, currently there are phenomena which indicate the presence of moral degradation exhibited by school-age children, such as the number of student fights and deeds other improperly. Seeing this phenomenon, arises the question "What's wrong with the education system these days?? In Hinduism known the education is done through pasraman system (ashram), which is a student came and stay in the dorm of a teacher for a long time to get the desired knowledge. Referring to this system, arise author wishes to reappoint as a discourse to be used as a discussion whether the pasraman system can be developed as a method of formal education, in order to create Indonesian beings who not only have a high intellectual capability, but beings character as well.   The Pasraman education concept is an educational concept embodied in the Hindu Vedic scriptures, which describes the relationship between the teachers who are familiar with the student. The Pasraman purpose is: (1) To provide to the student's basic ability to develop individuals who have Sraddha and bhakti to the God, and (2) to nurture students to have the experience, knowledge, and skills that can be developed in their life.  Viewed from the goal, either education based on pesraman system and national education systems have in common is equally aims to develop the potential of the child to have the spiritual strength of religious, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character and skills necessary for himself, society, nation and state. So both of the education system can be said to be in line. Thus education based on pesraman can be offered as one solution to solve the problems faced by the National Education System, especially in the formation of students' character In order pasraman education can be developed into an education system that is universal, it need the intervention of Dirjen Bimas Hindu contributed to ask and convince government authorities that pesraman education system is a solution for achieving National Education goals, so that education can be recognized in pasraman as one of the methods of formal education in Indonesia, not only as a religious-oriented education.

Abstract

Hindu educational system, such as the Gurukula, Ashrama, Mandala is used by teachers in the past both in India up to the Majapahit era is widely used by later such as education; boarding school, Pasraman and even the national education. This situation became unclear when Hindu educational system meant only with religious activities, but is actually a field study in line with the modern Hindu education starting from the beginning of the development of students up to high levels and goals of national education. The results of this paper were Hindu educational system is not fully implemented in Indonesia but rather adapt to the existing formal education. So in their implementation was carried out in the form of  informal  education  Pasraman  education  developed  between  education  system taking Hindu with a curriculum used follows the national education curriculum. This paper presents the essence of Hindu educational system with the national education system, both of which have a purpose that education must be the result of the knowledge, attitudes and skills. Therefore, the implementation of the synergies of the Hindu education with national education should be implemented to achieve a winning Indonesian people and competitive in all areas of life in the confront era of globalization.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kurang gizi kronis yang disebabkan asupan gizi yang kurang dalam waktu lama sebagai akibat pemberian makanan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian experimental dengan pre test post test two group design, dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai Ferbuari 2020 di Kecamatan yang berada pada daerah pesisir Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah nenek pengasuh balita stunting (usia balita 36 bulan) oleh tenaga kesehatan, bisa baca tulis, balita dengan orang tua bekerja di luar daerah yaitu sebanyak 69 nenek pengasuh dan balita yang diasuhnya. Menggunakan simple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian 42 nenek pengasuh dan 42 balita yang diasuhnya. Penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi untuk mengukur berat badan dan tinggi badan anak sebelum dan sesudah pendidikan kesehatan. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengukur data sosiodemografi nenek pengasuh yang meliputi umur, pendidikan terakhir, makanan yang diberikan kepada balita. Leaflet dibagikan kepada nenek pengasuh sebagai alat bantu selama pendidikan kesehatan tentang pencegahan stunting berlangsung. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan wilcoxon match paired test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa P value (0,00) < α (0,05) artinya ada perubahan atau kenaikan berat badan dan tinggi badan anak usia 36 bulan sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan tentang pencegahan stunting yang diberikan kepada nenek pengasuh efektif untuk meningkatkan berat dan tinggi badan anak usia 36 bulan di aderah pesisir Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur

Abstract

AbstractThe curriculum is an important foundation in the learning process at RA Baiturrahman Bima Cirebon which starts from planning to assessment. Curriculum development tailored to the needs of society and child-oriented. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation development of the 2013 curriculum. The method used in this study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this study used observation to see firsthand the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, interviews to obtain more valid information, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this observation is using the data reduction model of Miles and Huberman in order to retrieve the actual data and this research uses the triangluation technique to test the validity of the data that has been obtained.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Discipline is a behavior that is based on obedience and compliance of the rules which apply at home, at the surrounding environment and the community in general. Discipline is grounded on a healthy and dynamic relationship between parenst and children. The first thing a parent must do before applying discipline to a child is to recognize the child as a whole. According to Soetjiningsih, the Effective Discipline Criteria for Early Childhood are: 1) Children feel it means or is important to themselves, 2) Obeyed and carried out with enthusiasm, 3) Effective for the long term, 4) Teaching life skills and valuable social skills for good characters (respect, care for others, be able to solve problems, like to work together), 5) Helping children to develop the belief that they have abilities. The importance of improving discipline behavior in the new normal era, specifically focused on how to educate early childhood to obey the new orders applies in the society. As the example, children are taught to keep their distance when traveling, washing hand or wearing hand sanitizer before and after holding something, always wear a mask when they are in public area and not to have physical touch with others. New rules during the covid-19 period bring an impact on the new lifestyle that prevailed in the general population. It becomes an important task for parents to provide understanding to children through discipline behavior that is applied starting from home. The most important thing in instilling and applying discipline in children is the creation of a warm (close)and loving relationship, also good communication between parents and children. By creating a good relationship, parents will be more easily to explain which things are allowed and should not be done by children, or which are good or not good for them. Avoid any unnecessary punishments, especially in the form of physical uses or unreasonable threats.

Abstract

AbstractEarly Childhood Education is an early education that facilitates children to get the right stimulation, guidance, nurturing, and learning so that the child's abilities and skills can develop optimally. Teachers play a role in stimulating the quality care and education that early childhood needs. When the teacher provides education and develops the character of the child, the teacher needs confidence in his or her abilities called self-efficacy. Self-efficacy refers to an individual's belief that he is capable of performing tasks, in this case the higher his or her efficacy the more confident or confident he is able to achieve success. This research method is a literature study that examines scientific literature related to the role of teacher efficacy in Early Childhood Education. Based on literature studies, teacher self-efficacy can be used to develop teacher innovation behavior in their work. Teachers with higher self-efficacy showed a higher level of innovation behavior. By building the teacher's self-efficacy, it will affect the teacher's confidence when doing teaching objectives, preparing teaching materials, class interaction patterns, roles, classroom practices and others.

Abstract

Abstract Murals are one of the alternative media for street visual art / street visual art that functions as a forum for people's aspirations through paintings. The attractiveness of art gives a strong impression, in line with visual communication theory which assumes that the use of art in educational media is very important. One of these forms of art is a mural. The purpose and function of the mural itself is still developing today. The making of murals in early childhood schools is basically a form of utilizing empty space by incorporating educational missions, such as: as a medium for recognizing local cultural values (folklore). Because through folklore, it indirectly represents the social reality that is around us. Thus basically the implicit function of making murals in empty spaces in early childhood schools is to train students' sensitivity.The environment is a factor that can affect a child's imagination. By placing murals on the walls of early childhood schools, apart from functioning as decoration, indirectly has the function of stimulating children's sensitivity to visuals. This visual sensitivity indirectly develops children's imagination. Thus, murals can stimulate the imaginary environment or imaginary world of children that penetrate the developer of their imagination. Art will always develop, which will be the source of ideas in the process of its creation. Like children who are inspired by murals in creating their works. Seeing this, students will be more open and sensitive to the environment around us so that new ideas will emerge fresh and close to us as a source of ideas for creating works.
