Abstract

Anggapan bahwa bermain gadget adalah kekinian bagi anak usia dini dan kebiasaan orang tua memfasilitasi anaknya dengan gadget akan mengurangi fungsi dan perannya dalam pengasuhan menjadi pilihan bagi orang tua jaman sekarang. Atas dasar kenyamanan bagi orang tua dari aktivitas anak yang terkadang dianggap mengganggu, orang tua mengambil langkah dan solusi yang menurutnya ampuh untuk membuat anaknya diam, yakni dengan memberinya tablet, iPhone, HP dan barang digital sejenis lainnya.  Penggunaan barang-barang sejenis ini apabila tidak diimbangi dengan control, aturan dan konsekuensi yang jelas bisa membawa dampak yang kurang baik bagi perkembangan ketrampilan motorik halus anak. Aktivitas motorik halus adalah kegiatan yang melibatkan otot-otot kecil seperti jari jemari. Penggunaan barang-barang yang serba digital hanya melibatkan salah satu jari anak,misalnya jempol atau telunjuk saja yang dibantu perkembangannya. Hal ini akan menjadi masalah bagi anak ketika mereka memasuki usia prasekolah. Ketika diberikan kegiatan yang harus melibatkan semua jemarinya, tidak jarang anak yang jari-jarinya sangat kaku bahkan lemas, sehingga perlu bantuan guru untuk menyelesaikan tugas dengan baik. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari alternatif pemecahan masalah sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan motorik halus anak di TK Dirgayusa. Berkaitan dengan hal itu,peneliti memilih metode ?Bermain Plastisin?. Kegiatan bermain plastisin dapat melibatkan jari jemari anak secara keseluruhan dan terkoordinasi. Gerakan tersebut meliputi meremas, menggiling, mengepal, memencet dan lain sebagainya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh anak secara berulang-ulang dan sangat bermanfaat untuk melatih kelenturan dan kekuatan otot-otot jemarinya untuk persiapan kegiatan yang lebih kompleks. Setelah penerapan metode bermain plastisin ini, beberapa manfaat yang bisa didapatkan secara nyata, seperti: a) Kelenturan, kekuatan dan ketrampilan motorik halus anak meningkat. b) Anak lebih mudah dan lebih percaya diri untuk melakukan aktivitas motorik halus yang lebih kompleks c) Guru lebih mudah dalam melakukan bimbingan dan penguasaan kelas d) Guru semakin termotivasi dalam mencari terobosan atau memilih metode pembelajaran yang dapat memecahkan masalah/ kesulitan belajar anak, e)Sekolah menjadi lebih dinamis dan inspiratif karena banyak timbul gagasan baru. f) Orang tua murid semakin percaya untuk menitipkan anaknya, karena guru mampu mencarikan solusi atas kesulitan belajar yang ditemui dan anak-anak tetap mendapatkan sukacita dalam belajar. Abstract

Abstrak Media dalam proses pembelajaran dapat mempertinggi proses belajar pada anak, dalam pembelajaran pada gilirannya diharapkan dapat mempertinggi hasil belajar yang dicapainya. Dalam pengertian ini, guru, buku teks, dan lingkungan sekolah merupakan media. Proses pembelajaran terjadi di dalam kelas diakibatkan adanya interkasi dan komunikasi antara guru dengan siswa melalui media pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran sangat dianjurkan untuk mempertinggi kualitas pembelajaran pada anak usia dini.Pada pendidikan anak usia dini, maka media pembelajaran merupakan segala sesuatu yang dapat dijadikan bahan (software) dan alat (hardware) untuk bermain yang membuat AUD mampu memperoleh pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan menentukan sikap. Dan, media yang biasa digunakan dalam PAUD adalah alat permainan edukatif (APE). APE terbagi menjadi dua golongan yaitu: (1) APE luar: Alat permainan edukatif yang disediakan di luar ruangan (halaman/ taman); (2) APE dalam: alat permainan edukatif yang disediakan untuk anak bermain di dalam ruangan.Jenis media yang lazim dipakai di sekolah PAUD Bhakti Persada di bawah Yayasan Tri Murti di Dusun Jamuran dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, di antaranya:Media visual/media grafis, adalah media yang hanya dapat dilihat. Jenis media visual ini tampaknya yang paling sering digunakan oleh guru pada Lembaga Pendidikan Unak Usia Dini untuk membantu menyampaikan isi dari tema pendidikan yang sedang dipelajari. Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran Penguatan Ketrampilan Anak Usia Dini     Abstract Media in the learning process can enhance the learning process in children, in learning in turn it is expected to enhance the learning outcomes achieved. In this sense, teachers, textbooks, and school environments are media. The learning process occurs in the classroom due to the interaction and communication between the teacher and students through learning media. Therefore, the use of instructional media is highly recommended to enhance the quality of learning in early childhood.In early childhood education, the learning media is everything that can be used as material (software) and tools (hardware) to play which makes the AUD able to obtain knowledge, skills, and determine attitudes. And, the media commonly used in PAUD are educational game tools (APE). APE is divided into two groups, namely: (1) Outside APE: Educational game tools provided outside the room (yard / garden); (2) APE in: educational game tools provided for children playing indoors.The type of media commonly used in the PAUD Bhakti Persada school under the Tri Murti Foundation in Jamuran Hamlet in learning activities, including:Visual media / graphic media, are media that can only be seen. This type of visual media seems to be the most frequently used by teachers at the Early Childhood Education Institution to help convey the contents of the educational theme being studied

Abstract

Parenting education is a very important activity that should be implemented in early childhood education institutions. This activity is an opportunity for teachers to provide enthusiasm and foster awareness of parents to be involved in children?s education. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach carried out at RA Tiara Chandra Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study is to find out how parenting education was carried out in this school and how was the benefits to the develop parents? awareness to succeed of the program of developing moral values of children. The results of the study showed that parenting education was carried out routinely in the form of training in living values education and monthly parenting to provide refreshment and evaluate programs that have been implemented. There were three groups of activities that had been carried out, namely education, involvement, and empowerment of parents. Parental involvement in developing children?s moral values had a significant impact on children?s awareness to live up to moral values in their daily life. Keywords: parenting education, moral values, early childhood Abstrak Parenting education merupakan kegiatan yang sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan di lembagan pendidikan anak usia dini. Kegiatan ini menjadi kesempatan bagi para guru untuk memberikan semangat dan menumbuhkan kesadaran orang tua untuk terlibat dalam pendidikan anak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studikasus yang dilaksanakan di RATiara Chandra Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana parenting education dilaksanakan di sekolah ini dan sejauh mana manfaatnya terhadap munculnya kesadaran orang tua dalam mensukseskan program penanaman nilai moral pada anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa parenting education dilaksanakan secara rutin dalam bentuk pelatihan living values education dan parenting bulanan untuk memberikan penyegaran dan mengevaluasi program- program yang telah didilaksanakan. Terdapat tiga kelompok kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, yaitupendidikan, pelibatan, dan pemberdayaan orang tua. Keterlibatan orang tua terhadap penanaman nilai moral anak memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesadaran anak untuk menghidupkan nilai moral dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: parenting education, nilai moral, anak usia dini

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun agar anak usia dini menjadi cerdas dalam baca tulis. Dan meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa anak dalam menyimak, mengungkapkan gagasan, keaksaraan awal anak, serta sebagai fondasi awal menanamkan nilai literasi pada anak usia dini. Kajian ini dibedah dengan konsep perkembangan bahasa anak dan teori literasi. Terdapat metode yang digunakan penerapan media Smart Story Book ini, Guru menyusun rencana harian dengan menggunakan media peraga, pelaksanaan kegiatan, umpan balik, dan mencatat hasil dari pencapaian kegiatan melalui daftar ceklist observasi. Penelitian ini menemukan, pertama bentuk-bentuk bercerita yang menarik, yang digunakan secara bergantian agar anak tidak merasa bosan, menghasilkan keterampilan menyimak maksimal. Kedua bentuk metode bercerita atau digunakan secara kombinasi agar menambah daya tarik cerita dapat menghasilkan perkembangan mengungkapkan (berbicara anak) sangat baik. Ketiga peraga ini menggunakan bahan dengan berbagai warna dan memiliki rangkaian gambar berbagai bentuk dari berbagai teknik lipatan di dalamnya sehingga menjadi alur cerita yang menarik. Kata kunci: Anak Usia Dini, Literasi, Media Smart Story Book, keterampilan menyimak, keterampilan mengungkapkan Abstract This research aims to build so that young children become intelligent in reading and writing. And improve children's language skills in listening, expressing ideas, children's early literacy, and as an initial foundation to instill the value of literacy in early childhood. This study is dissected with the concept of children's language development and literacy theory. There is a method used by the application of the Smart Story Book media, the teacher prepares a daily plan using the media of the demonstration, the implementation of activities, feedback, and records the results of the achievement of activities through an observation checklist. The research found, firstly interesting forms of storytelling, which are used interchangeably so that children do not feel bored, resulting in maximum listening skills. Both forms of storytelling method or used in combination in order to increase the attractiveness of the story can produce the development of expressing (talking to children) very well. These three visuals use materials with various colors and have a series of images of various shapes from various fold techniques in it so that it becomes an interesting storyline.

Abstract

Setiap anak memiliki potensi yang wajib untuk dikembangkan. Potensi yang dimiliki oleh anak tersebut akan berkembang dengan maksimal apabila mendapatkan perawatan, pengasuhan, dan pendidikan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Semua itu memerlukan dukungan dan kerjasama dari berbagai lingkungan di mana anak berada. Lingkungan yang dimaksud adalah lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Keluarga memegang peranan yang sangat penting karena keluarga merupakan lingkungan pertama dan utama di mana anak mendapat pendidikan. Orang tua yang memiliki pengetahuan tentang pertumbuhan, perkembangan dan pendidikan anak usia dini akan dapat menjadikan anak sebagai generasi yang gemilang, Namun, banyak pula orang tua yang kurang memiliki pengetahuan tentang bagaimana merawat, mengasuh dan mendidik anak berdasarkan ilmu pendidikan anak yang tepat. Hal tersebut berdampak kurang maksimalnya pengembangan potensi yang dimiliki anak. Selain itu, orang tua harusnya memiliki kesadaran yang tinggi akan pentingnya keterlibatan dan kerjasama orang tua dengan pihak lembaga PAUD. Kesamaan dan kesinambungan program PAUD yang dilaksanakan di sekolah dan di rumah akan memberikan dukungan yang maksimal terhadap anak usia dini dalam melewati tugas-tugas perkembangannya. Orang tua dapat mengikuti program parenting yang dilaksankan oleh lembaga PAUD untuk memperoleh pengetahuan dan ilmu tentang anak usia dini. Program parenting ini dapat diaplikasikan dalam berbagai kegiatan yang tentu saja melibatkan peran dan dukungan orang tua di dalamnya. Melalui program parenting ini juga orang tua dapat memberikan pendidikan dan stimulasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan tugas-tugas perkembangan sehingga potensianak usia dini dapat berkembang dengan maksimal. Kata kunci: program parenting, keterlibatan orang tua, PAUD Abstract Every child has the potential that be developed. The potential possessed by the child will develop optimally when getting care, and education that suits for their needs. All of that requires the supportand cooperation ofvarious environments in which the child located. The environment in question is the family, school and community environment. Families a very important role because the family is the first and foremost environment in which children get education. Parents who have knowledge of growth, development and early childhood education will be able to make children a brilliant generation. However, many parents lack knowledge, nurture and educate children based on appropriate children?s education. This has an impact on the lack of maximum development of the potential ofchildren. In addition, parents should have a high awareness of the importance of parental involvement and collaboration with early childhood institutions. The similarity and continuity of programs carried out at school and at home will provide maximum support for early childhood in passing through the tasks of their development. Parents can take part in a parenting program carried out byinstitutions to gain knowledge and knowledge about earlychildhood. This parenting program can be applied in various activities which of course involves the role and support of parents. Through this parenting program parents can also provide education and stimulation in accordance with the needs and tasks of development so that the potential of early childhood can develop optimally. Keywords: parenting program, parental involvement, early childhood education

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the increase in long term memory and basic cognitive ability in group B children of Taman Kanak-kanak Indra Prasta Kuta and obstacles faced by children in learning using experimental method with concrete media. The implementation of this research was based on the results of preliminary observations indicating that the long term memory and basic cognitive ability of children are still low. This study was an action research conducted in two cycles. Subjects were children in group B (B5) of 17 children. The study was conducted in the second semester (even) in the Academic Year 2013-2014. The research procedure follows circles such as planning phase, implementation phase, observation phase, and reflection phase. The data were collected by using observation and taken by using descriptive qualitative method. The results show that the implementation of the experimental method with concrete media can improve (1) long term memory of children at the end of the first cycle by 41.18 % (7 children) achieving the expected standard with the categories of good and very good, and at the end of the second cycle, it increases by 100 % (17 children) achieving the expected standard with the categories of good and very good. (2) Cognitive basic ability of children at the end of the first cycle by 52.94% (9 children) achieving the expected standard with the categories of good and very good, and at the end of the second cycle, it increases by 100 % (17 children) achieving the expected standard with the categories of good and very good.

Abstract

Basically, every young children have a potential to be creative and an ability to express themselves creatively, even in different ways and levels. A cavernous chance for creativity and full support from the environment give a very important role in making creative thinking children. Creativity is very important to be developed earlier because it can help the children for solving problems. There are four things that are concerned in developing early childhood creativity, namely: 1) giving mental stimulation, 2) giving conducive environment, 3) creative stimulation, and 4) parent involvement. One of method that can be used in developing early childhood creativity is the mind map method. Mind map is a form of writing note in picture or, visual form in which full of color to make the children easier in remembering and also it can be fun for them. Mind map method for playing activities can make children’s brain, both left and right brain, works actively and synergistically. Developing of two groups of brain activity in harmony will produce doubling the basic abilities synergistically too.

Abstract

Early childhood education or PAUD is not only about educating, it also includes parenting and protecting children, as well as supporting children’s healthcare. Healthcare is one of the main parts because it affects child’s development in general. Taking care of children’s health is the direct responsibility of the parents, together with the teachers at school and should be also supported by the Government. Parents, as the closest ones to their children have to take care of them and introduce them the healthy lifestyle. This will be the basis of the children’s self-protection in the future. In getting the child to get used to the clean and healthy lifestyle, parents should also consider the characteristics and the development of their children. In parenting, parents need to implement positive parenting so that the children will feel more comfortable and will respond the stimulation well. Positive parenting is a type of parenting method that is based on affection, respect and good relationship between the parents and their children. Implementation of parenting method that is based on appreciation and understanding to the children will minimize child rejection.

Abstract

Accreditation on PAUD Unit is an activity to assess the feasibility of programs and units based on eight national education standards in this case referring to Permendikbud number 137 of 2014 concerning national standards for early childhood education, accredited PAUD Units are expected to improve their quality, therefore the results of PAUD accreditation activities It needs to be analyzed and it must be useful to recommend improvements for local governments in the context of fostering the unit, while the objectives of this study are (1) how to analyze the achievement of accreditation standards in regencies / cities in Banten Province and (2) how the results of accreditation are utilized by the government regions at the district / city level in determining policies and programs. The research method used was meta-analysis using primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from interviews with the Chairperson of the PAUD and PNF National Accreditation Board in Banten Province. Secondary data sourced from the PAUD and PNF National Accreditation Board website, Education Data Reference Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as official laws and regulations, and related study results. The results showed that: (1) the highest average achievement of PAUD accreditation results in Banten Province in 2019 was the highest in the educational assessment standard of 91.04%, while the lowest average achievement in the content standard was 60.80% and (2) the results of accreditation have not yet been fully followed up by local governments at the district / city level.

Abstract

This research will be a descriptive study with qualitative data analysis about Early childhood’s drawing according to Children’s art development by Victor. The objectives of this study include; (1) to find out the visual element of early childhood’s drawing (2) to find out the aesthetic value of early childhood’s drawing. (3) to find out early childhood’s drawing according to children’s art development theory by Victor. The data collection techniques in this study include; (1) observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation, with qualitative and quantitative data analysis of Mile and Huberman which includes; (1) Data reduction, (2) Data presentation, and (3) Conclusion.
