Abstract

The research encourages the explanation of the mitigation education model and complete disaster mitigation planning in early childhood education schools (PAUD). This research uses library research methods. Data is collected from books, research reports, journal articles, web (internet) relevant to the study of Disaster Mitigation in Schools. Next, the data were analyzed using the content analysis method (content analysis). The results showed that the COVID-19 outbreak disaster mitigation education for PAUD children was one of the reasons children were the most vulnerable during a disaster. Its function is to increase awareness, knowledge, attitudes, skills, and participation in emerging pandemics. The stages of COVID-19 outbreak disaster mitigation in schools include 3 essential preparations. First, prepared, published (1) (2) the existence of school policies, approvals, and regulations. Second, planning, loading; (1) assesses risks, hazards, evaluates and resources; (2) reducing risk; (3) skills in responding and providing disaster relief equipment; (4) education continuity plan. Third, continuous support, updated (1) monitoring; and (2) updating. Mitigation of disasters to be executed is essential as an effort to prepare school resources to cope with disasters.

Abstract

AbstractThe importance of the strategies that teachers implement in PAUD learning, both as a form of development in the development of the child's aspects. PAUD learning strategies based on local wisdom integrate various cultural values to be introduced into the world of children, at an early age. The problem in this study is based on the phenoma that occurred in TK Omah Dolanan YWKA Yogyakarta which realizes local wisdom-based learning strategies. The purpose of this study was to see how the form of learning strategies carried out by TK Omah Dolanan YWKA Yogyakarta. The research method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative. The data technique uses documentation, interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that the form of local wisdom-based learning strategies used is in the form of videos that the teacher makes in the form of enrichment of Javanese language that is in the child. Then the final results can be collected by assignments in the form of videos sent via the Whatsapp Group.

Abstract

Human development is compulsory by means of an education process, one of which is the educational process at non-formal educational institutions. Non-formal education is an interesting topic, because the education process is community-based, that is, its management contains principles from the community, with the community, and towards the community. This study aims to examine, identify and understand the role of community-based non-formal education management as an effort to increase human resources. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods, namely examining, analyzing and developing theories from research results related to the theme of the role of community-based non-formal education management as a form of creating human beings who have capabilities, competencies and character according to the needs of society and the times.The results showed that in community-based education, the community as instructors and learning citizens were the determining factors for the success of non-formal education. Non-formal education which is considered as a complement to and a substitute for formal education has a wider variety of materials being taught. Non-formal education teaches things related to the surrounding environment, and is formed and managed by the community with guidance from the government. In Indonesia, this type of non-formal education is held independently or with government assistance. However, there are still many institutions that have not received attention in the form of accreditation from the government. Even though there are many results that prove that non-formal education graduates absorb more workers because of skills related to current social conditions.

Abstract

Abstract            Early childhood education is a shared responsibility of various parties; not only the government, but also schools, teachers and families (parents). During online learning, learning activities at home are part of the responsibiliy of the parents. This study aims to determine the strategies used by parents in accompanying their children during online learning at home. This research uses descriptive exploration techniques with qualitative analysis. Data collection was carried out in three different early childhood education institutions (PAUD). The results of the data analysis shows that TK A carries out full online learning and uses mentoring strategies by parents including preparing learning equipments, monitoring children during learning, and explaining subjects that are not understood by the children. PAUD B applies semi-online learning using a strategy: parents take and collect children’s homework every Monday. Meanwhile, PAUD C implements offline learning with a mentoring strategy in which the teacher conducts home visits. Parents in PAUD C have a role to supervise their children in learning, where parents come home from work and take the time to accompany their children, then advise the teachers to visit their homes. In general, it can be concluded that basically parents have no reason to not provide assistance to their children while learning from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The synergyy between teachers and parents is the essence of a good early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant impact of Project Based Outdoor Learning Activity using audiovisual media on children's learning behavior in PAUD Cluster VI Buleleng District. The research design used is a quasi-experimental design and quantitative methods. The population of this research is the whole group B in Cluster VI of Buleleng District. The sample of this study is TK B group Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal, with a total of 15 children, group B TK Dharma Suda Singaraja, with a total of 18 children. Use the t-test to analyze data. The results obtained are t arithmetic = 3.15, the significance level is 5%, and when dk = 31, t table = 2.04. Therefore, the value of the t count> t table is 3.15> 2.04. It can be concluded that Project-Based Outdoor Learning Activity using audiovisual media has an impact on children's learning behavior in PAUD Cluster VI Buleleng District.

Abstract

This article aims to read visual signs and verbal signs by utilizing the children's drawings during the pre-schematic stage. The reading of the signs will be used to describe the elements of fine arts in the children's drawing.  Four works of kindergarten children were chosen and observed. The four works are entitled "Mother", "Brother", "Zoo" and "Tree". These have been selected as the subjects of the study. These four works were chosen because these works were created by using different media, such as pencil on paper, watercolors on paper, and digital media. The object of this study is focused on visual analysis of the children's drawings on the elements of art, such as points, lines, shape, spaces, and colors. The pre-schematic stage is characterized by the appearance of circular images with lines that seem to indicate human or animal figures. During this stage, the scheme (the visual idea) is developed. The drawing shows what the child considers most important about the subject. There is a little understanding of space - objects are placed randomly throughout the image. The use of color is more emotional than logical. The elements of fine art are shown in the drawings can be described as the result of the observation 1) The lines have been controlled so has formed the image. 2) The shape of the object described has been identified as representing the object that the child wants to describe. 3) The colors used to fill the shapes are based on the child's imagination and desires except the color used to fill the shape of the tree.  The colors of nature are the same as in real life, such as green leaves, blue sky, and green grass. In general, the image or drawing presented by the child is an illustration

Abstract

Constructive play is an imaginative and fun game. This is important for children's development, one of which is the ability to speak as a communication tool for children to express all ideas and feelings when playing constructively, children can explore with their imaginations, learn to find and pour new ideas, do problem solving and recognize rules. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The purpose of this study was to see the meaning and benefits of constructive play. Constructive play activities emphasize the nature of building and creating something that can stimulate children's speaking skills. Qualitative data analysis using the model from Miles and Huberman through triangulation: (1) data reduction, (2) data display, (3) verification, through observation, interviews and documentation during the action. The results showed that through constructive play based on peer groups can develop children's speaking skills. Through the experience of playing, creating and interacting with peer groups, children can improve all aspects of their speaking ability.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of students' moral values, teacher activities, student activities, assessment techniques for work, and analyze the results of the development of students' religious and moral values. The type of research and approach in this research is descriptive qualitative research. While the research subjects consisted of teachers and students aged 4-5 years in TK-Zainuddin. Secondary data used in data collection by using instruments of observation, interviews, and documentation techniques that connect researchers to solve a problem. The results of the research obtained in the development of moral values, religion, namely, by using performance appraisal techniques with activities including greeting, polite to older people, honest, responsible, polite when speaking every Sunday. These activities include practicing the fardhu prayer movement. Then every month they make pilgrimages, visit orphanages, and every semester hold PHBI events. In assessing performance techniques on aspects of the development of moral values, religion carried out in Zanuddin Kindergarten by teachers is to use portfolios and checklists as assessment instruments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine children's moral development, the implementation of audio-visual media and to determine the effect of audio-visual media on children's morale in RA Hj. Fauziah, Binjai Timur District, Binjai City. The research conducted is quantitative in nature. In quantitative research, generally the data obtained is in the form of numbers or scores that are combined after taking the score through a questionnaire distributed to the research sample. Henceforth, these numbers are tested with numbers that become the second variable so that there will be a final number or score that can determine whether there is a relationship between the two variables that influence each other or not. The type of statistic used is the Product Moment Person Correlation statistic, which is to determine the effect of audio-visual media on children's morale in group B at RA Hj. Fauziah, Binjai Timur District, Binjai City. The population in this study were RA Hj students. Fauziah, Binjai Timur District, Binjai City in the 2020/2021 school year, totaling 63 people consisting of 38 male students and 25 female students. The results of the research using audio visual media can be said to be good. This can be proven by the value obtained, namely P = 72.93%. Research on children's morale can be said to be very good. This can be proven by the value obtained, namely P = 80.38%. There is a significant influence between the audio-visual media on children's morals as evidenced by the value of the correlation coefficient (r) which shows the level of correlation between variable X (audio-visual media) and variable Y (children's moral in group B) of r = 0.68 with a level of correlation high. Based on the t statistical test, namely t count = r√ (n-1) the result is 3.18. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between audio-visual media on children's morale in group B in RA Hj. Fauziah Binjai.

Abstract

Learning activities with the stortelling methood is a learning process that teachers try to develop children’s language skills. Storytelling can foste courage in children by continuing to provide stimulation from direct experience that involves children in learning activities, so it is necessary to prepare storytelling themes so that learning is more creative. The benefits of storytelling are that it helps children’s ability tio listen, children’s imagination power is trained, adds a sense of joy, children will be active and dare to appear in learning. Storytelling is one of the ways children communicate with their peers. The problem in this study is that the child has not paid attention to the words of others, has not been able to understand the contents of the reading that is told, the child has not retold the story that has been heard. This study aims to describe the implementation of language skills through the storytelling method for early childhood friends. Qualitative descriptive is the method used in this research. Data collection techniques using observations, interviews, documentation. The results of data analysis show the implemetation. The results of data analysis show the implementations of the storytelling method in improving children’s language, namely by making lesson plans that can make teaching, directing and educating and stimulating, motivating, by setting a good example to children so that they have languange skill and can increase children’s self-confidence
