Abstract

Employees contributions are noticed by the company, so efforts made to meet its employees needs are focused on how organizational support is given that employees are satisfied with their jobs. The study used quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample sampling technique used accidental sampling in which researchers do not use any particular planning in the subject retrieval. Research subjects number 212 with permanent employee criteria for a two-year minimum. The instruments used were surveys of Perceived Organizational Support and Job Satisfaction Survey. The data analysis used is Pearson correlation. The study suggests that there is positive relationship between perceptions of organizational support and job satisfaction with a value of p = .000 (p = < .05). As for the power of the relationship between the two, it is rated strong with value R = .693. This suggests that both variables are unionized in that if perceptions of organizational support are high, the greater the opportunity for job satisfaction arises. Abstract

The imbalance between the world of work and the personal life of employees can interfere with daily activities so that it can cause problems both in the world of work and in personal life. One of those who are considered capable of being able to better balance between personal and work life is the impulse in the individual to constantly move towards his life goals. Therefore, this study aims to test the role of the Adversity Quotient on the Work-Life Balance. A total of 150 employees actively participated in this study which was obtained using the Convenience Sampling technique. The instruments used are the Work/non-work Interference and Enhancement Scale and the Adversity Response Profile. The results of a simple linear regression test show that the Adversity Quotient is able to predict the Employee's Work-Life Balance. This means that the higher the Adversity Quotient, the higher the Work-Life Balance felt by employees. Keywords: adversity quotient, employee, work-life balance

Abstract

The news about the Covid 19 virus has made people with lower middle socioeconomic status who work in traditional market worried about this virus. How they thinking about covid 19 reflected in their daily behavior at traditional market. They anxiety that reflected by their behavior become predictor how they thinking about the covid 19 virus. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of anxiety on the perception of the risk of the danger of covid 19 virus. This study is a quantitative research using survey method. There are 166 participant who surveyed by accidental sampling with some criterias; male and female traditional markets worker and aged 18-61 years. The data collected by instruments; Covid 19 Pperceived Risk Scales (CPRS) and State Trait Anxiety Inventory-Trait (STAI-T) and analized using simple regression. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect on anxiety on the perception of the dangers of covid 19 in traditional market workers (r = 0.205, R2 = 0.042, P = 0.008)   Keywords : subjective assessment, anxiety as a trait, lower middle socioeconomic

Abstract

Cases of violence in early adolescent still often occur due to lack of emotional regulation. One of the factors behind adolescent emotional intelligence is parental attachment. This study aims to determine the relationship between father attachment and emotional intelligence in early adolescence and the relationship between mother attachment and emotional intelligence in early adolescence. The research design is correlational quantitative research with sampling using non-probability voluntary sampling technique. The subjects in this study were 237 early adolescents aged 12-15 years and had both parents. The scale used in this study is an attachment scale using the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment Revised Version (IPPA-R) and an emotional intelligence scale using a scale based on Goleman's theory. Pearson's correlation analysis showed that there was a relationship between attachment of father (r = 0.288; p < 0.05) and mother (r = 0.415; p < 0.05) with emotional intelligence in early adolescence. Abstract

The problems experienced by Indonesian migrant workers are very diverse, such as employment problems, neglect and so on. This can trigger anxiety so that handling efforts such as relaxation are needed. This study aims to test the effectiveness of relaxation in reducing anxiety levels in Indonesian migrant workers at the Shelter of the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design that measured adaptation to the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21). The population in this study were all PMIs with moderate to high levels of anxiety who were at the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, which were obtained using a purposive sampling technique. The data that has been obtained from the field is then processed by JASPO.16 (Jeffreys' Amazing Statistics Program) using Wilcoxon signed-rank test analysis. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis is rejected, namely relaxation is not effective in reducing anxiety for Indonesian Migrant Workers who are in Shelters at the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, as seen from a probability of 0,098 (p > 0,05). The rank-biserial correlation (rB) as an effect size with a value of 1.000  > 0.5 indicates a large effect size. This research is a reference for the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia in dealing with anxiety problems that are often experienced by PMI in Malaysia. Abstract

Forgiveness to others can be given when self-disclosure has been made. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-disclosure and forgiveness in adolescents. The research design uses a non-experimental quantitative type of correlational study. Subjects were 199 high school (SMA) youth and equivalent. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The measuring tool uses the Conceptualizing and Measuring Self-Disclosure scale and the Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivation scale (TRIM-18). Results Analysis of the data using Spearman's rho showed a negative relationship between self-disclosure and forgiveness (r=-0.487; p<0.001). This means that adolescents who are more open in expressing themselves will tend to find it more difficult to forgive others. Thus, explaining oneself broadly and deeply is done by adolescents because they have not forgiven other people who are in conflict with them. Keywords: Adolescences, forgiveness, self-disclosure

Abstract

Body shaming is increasingly happening among teenagers. Body shaming is the behavior of negative comments to others or oneself starting from body shape, skin color and condition. Body shaming can lead to body image disturbance, namely negative body image. Researchers suspect that body shaming is one of the causes of a negative body image. Using the quantitative approach, data collected through a body shaming and body image scale with the accidental sampling technique, totalling 355 respondents with the provision that the respondents are teenage girls who have or are currently experiencing body shaming. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis. The study results showed a sig value of 0.00 <0.05 and an R-value of 0.080, therefore, it was proven that there was an effect of body shaming on adolescent girls' body image, and 100% of respondents had a negative body image. Abstract

In the field of education during the pandemic, students must do online learning. The online learning process raises several problems in the form of low motivation, decreased academic achievement and grades, and less than optimal student activity during online learning to affect the less than optimal self-efficacy produced. Self-efficacy is a factor that can affect self-regulated learning in online learning. Students who have high self-efficacy, will increase student success in learning. However, if self-efficacy is low, students feel pressured in completing tasks that make it difficult to carry out learning strategies, which has an impact on self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and self-regulated learning students in this online learning. The sample of this study amounted to 102 samples using accidental sampling techniques. The instruments used are the Self-Efficacy Scale and the Self-Regulated Learning Scale. The analysis technique used is the pearson product moment  correlation test. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and self-regulated learning of r = 0.675 (p < 0.05) where the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the self-regulated learning. Abstract

Gratitude to nature is a feeling of gratitude for the benefits of nature obtained. Someone who has a sense of gratitude to nature tends to repay nature's kindness by behaving pro-environmentally. Religiosity is a factor of being grateful. This study aims to find out more about the influence of religiosity on gratitude to nature. The research subjects are Generation Z, which is currently the dominating population in Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design and a simple linear regression test. The number of subjects as many as 301 people. The results show that there is a significant influence between religiosity on gratitude to nature in Generation Z. The R square value of 0.404 means that 40% religiosity is able to predict gratitude to nature. The higher the religiosity followed by the higher the gratitude for nature that is owned. Abstract

New normal has changed the way people live and work which has an impact on work and family life, especially female workers who are considered to be the most experiencing difficulties in work-life balance which can cause problems with work-life balance. The purpose of this study is to show 1) a description of the views or perceptions of female workers regarding work-life balance, 2) the psychological dynamics of female workers in balancing work-life in WFH and WFO situations, 3) the problems faced by female workers both internally and externally in achieving life balance. work in the new normal era, 4)  adaptation of female workers to WFH and WFO situations and 5) strategies used to achieve  work-life balance in the new normal . This study uses qualitative method with  phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were 5 female workers who were taken by snowball sampling technique using qualitative analysis using the Miles and Huberman models. The results show that female workers view work-life balance in the new normal as a positive thing. In work-life balance tends to have a negative impact on psychology. Post-pandemic changes (new normal) make female workers have to do multitasking resulting in problems in work-life balance. Adapting to WFH and WFO situations of female workers feel positive in work-life balance, which both internally and externally are very supportive to achieve work-life balance. The results of the above study also explain that female workers have effective strategies in work-life balance. Keywords: Female workers, new normal, work-life balance
