Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keefektifan Peer Conflict Resolution focused Counseling (PCRC) untuk meningkatkan perilaku damai di kalangan remaja serta mengeksplorasi tahap-tahap dalam meningkatkan perilaku damai selama proses konseling. Subjek meliputi tujuh dari empat puluh siswa SMA di Mataram, Indonesia, yang menjalani proses konseling. Analisis data meliputi penerapan Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) terhadap verbatim proses konseling. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa PCRC meningkatkan perilaku damai di kalangan remaja, yang tercermin dari kecenderungan mereka menghargai orang lain, memecahkan masalah secara konstruktif, menghindari konflik dengan teman-teman mereka, dan berdamai dengan musuh mereka. Juga berhasil diidentifikasikan lima tahap peningkatan perilaku damai yang terbentuk secara bertahap selama proses konseling, meliputi: (1) kesadaran menyelesaikan konflik, (2) membebaskan hambatan psikologis dan membangun harapan untuk menyelesaikan konflik, (3) kesadaran perkembangan diri dan hubungan interpersonal, (4) pengembangan metode-metode konstruktif untuk menyelesaikan konflik, dan(5) memelihara dan mempromosikan perilaku damai di kalangan teman-teman.Kata kunci: Peer Conflict Resolution focused Counseling (PCRC), peaceful behavior, Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA).This research aimed to analyze the effectiveness of Peer Conflict Resolution focused Counseling (PCRC) in improving peaceful behavior among adolescents and exploring the stages in improving peaceful behavior during the counseling process. The subjects were 7 of the 40 senior high school students in Mataram, Indonesia, who had been undergoing a counseling process. The data analysis consisted of applying the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) on the verbatim of the counseling process. The results showed that PCRC enhanced peaceful behavior among adolescents, which was evident in their tendency to respect others, solve problems constructively, avoid conflicts with their friends, and reconcile with their opponent. Five stages of peaceful behavior improvement built gradually in the counseling process were also identified, including: (1) consciousness to resolve the conflict, (2) attempt to alleviate psychological barrier and nurture the hope to resolve the conflict, (3) self-improvement and interpersonal relationship, (4) development of constructive methods to resolve the conflict, and (5) aintainance and encouragement of peaceful behavior to oneâs friends.Keywords: Peer Conflict Resolution focused Counseling (PCRC), peaceful behavior, Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA).
